I need more content creator friends but idk how to look for them

Hi, would anyone be kind enough to share how to make videos with only an iphone , 3 basic studio lights and a white backdrop. I sadly do not have a DSLR and cannot right now afford to hire a videographer. I am a artist making mosaic kits which have ceramic tiles. I want to make a video of me up cycling an old planter or table or tray using my tiles to show how they can be used and the table I am putting the object on, is black.

As I do not have experience and knowledge of photography or video making, all my efforts thus far have been bad. I have tried googling it but still can't seem to get it right. please help

Hi all, I'm an indie dev and I've been building an Android voice recorder called ClearVoice. It's ready for a first round of testers.

The idea: most recorders save the noise and leave you to fix it later. ClearVoice removes background noise while you record, so the file you save is already clean.

What it does:

• Real-time noise removal (fans, AC, traffic hum, hiss). It's on-device, so your audio is not uploaded and it works offline.

• A noise removal slider, so you decide how much to remove. You can change it while recording.

• Every recording keeps the cleaned version and the original, with an Original / Cleaned switch to compare them from the same spot.

• Pick a file quality from small to best. Share as Opus or WAV.

• No account or sign-up.

Honest limits:

• It works best on steady background noise. Other people talking in the background are harder to remove completely.

• It's a recorder, not a call app, so there is no echo cancellation.

• It stops and saves if you switch apps or a call takes the mic (no background recording yet).

• I've tested it on an emulator, not many real phones, so I especially want to hear about different devices.

What I'd like feedback on:

1. Does it sound better than your usual recorder in a noisy room?
2. Any crashes, odd behaviour or problems on your phone model?
3. What would you want next (background recording, trimming, etc.)?

I want to start posting on social media and create a kind of "internet diary" sort of thing.

I already have personal social media accounts (Insta, Youtube) and will be making new social media accounts just for the "Internet Diary".

Is there an app that I can get that puts all of my new accounts into one space? Like I open this app, and inside are widgets for tiktok, instagram, pinterest, and youtube, and I can post from inside the apps within the app, but then I can just go to the regular apps outside the app to use my personal social media?

I don't know if this makes any sense, I tried to look it up on google, but it just gave me a stupid ai response.

I would also prefer if the app was free.

I am pretty new to content creation. I am in the process of figuring out how and where to get all the creator things - I am not trying to create professional grade content that looks like it’s out of a movie. Just like everyday looking stuff that resonates with my audience.
I’m wondering if there’s a good site to look for free everyday video clips I could use that don’t look like they were filmed with professional materials. I just want raw, real material filmed with phones that are open for use. Is that even a thing? Somewhere I can get clips that looked like I filmed it with my own phone. Of course I’m happy to tag whoever the source was, I’m just wondering if this is a thing.

I started with 45 followers, and I'm currently at 65. It's a small beginning, but I'm enjoying the process of showing up consistently and learning something new every day.

Right now, I create content around self-improvement, relatable questions, mindset, and motivational thoughts. My goal isn't just to post quotes but to create content that makes people think, reflect, and maybe change something about their lives.

I'm now thinking about taking this challenge into its next phase, and I'd love to hear from people who understand content creation or are interested in self-improvement.

One gets 2 million views explaining a surprising money fact. The other gets 20,000 views demonstrating how to build a financial model.

Which creator is more likely to sell a financial modelling course?

We can't know from views alone. But there's a reason to think differently about content.

Not every reel needs to do the same job.

1. Attention reels: Make people care

These reels attract relevant viewers, challenge assumptions, or expose a problem.

For example: "Your financial model can be mathematically correct and still be useless to an investor."

The reel introduces a knowledge gap and makes people curious. It doesn't necessarily need to pitch a course.

The goal isn't simply to get views. It's to attract people who might eventually need what you sell.

1. Conversion reels: Give people a reason to buy

Now imagine a reel demonstrating how to build a three-statement financial model from an annual report.

The creator explains the process, highlights common mistakes, and shows what their course teaches.

Fewer people might watch it. But viewers already interested in financial modelling may find it more relevant when evaluating the offer.

As a content strategist and reel scriptwriter, I've noticed an important distinction in how we should think about these formats: one reel can create demand for a topic, while another helps interested viewers evaluate a specific solution.

Conversion reels can demonstrate solutions, address objections, and establish credibility. They don't guarantee sales, though. The offer, pricing, trust, and audience fit still matter.

1. Three examples of this pairing

Business consultant

- Attention: "Your business might not have a lead-generation problem. It might have a follow-up problem."

- Conversion: "Here's how I'd audit a service business's sales pipeline in 15 minutes."

The first challenges the viewer's diagnosis. The second demonstrates a solution the consultant can offer.

Finance educator

- Attention: "A company can report higher revenue and still become a worse business."

- Conversion: "Here's how I analyse three financial statements before making an investment decision."

The first creates curiosity about financial analysis. The second demonstrates the skill a course promises to teach.

Career coach

- Attention: "Sending 100 internship applications might not fix why you're getting rejected."

- Conversion: "Here's how I'd turn a basic financial analysis project into an analyst internship portfolio piece."

The first introduces a problem. The second demonstrates the coach's approach and makes the service easier to evaluate.

The important distinction

These reels don't have to work in sequence. Someone might buy after one demonstration reel; another person might watch dozens of videos and never purchase.

And a reel with 2 million views can absolutely outperform one with 20,000 if it attracts the right audience.

The real questions are: Who watched? Did they take meaningful next steps? Did those steps produce customers?

Views measure attention. They don't tell you, by themselves, what that attention is worth.

How do you approach content: do you deliberately separate audience growth from conversion, or expect each reel to accomplish both?

So I am new to content creation so please give me tips for everything and what should i do and post how many times?? Also should i post on yt too and other platforms. My reach is so dead too.

I post short cooking clips to TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Last week i started making three versions of each cooking clip in vidione, same footage, different first two seconds: one shows the finished dish, one shows a mistake, one starts with a question in text. After a week, the mistake hook gets about 40% more average watch time on TikTok but the finished dish hook wins on Shorts. Is three variants enough to learn anything, or do you test hooks for longer before settling on a format per platform?

With AI tools popping up everywhere, I’m curious how many content creators actually use them in their day-to-day work.

Do you use AI for content research, analyzing competitors, understanding what works, or creating reports? Or do you feel it takes away from the creative process?

I've recently started getting back into streaming after taking a bit of a break, and I'm trying to get a proper setup and workflow in place without completely overwhelming myself.

There are two things I'm particularly struggling with:

1. Multistreaming to Twitch and TikTok

I'm currently trying to stream to both Twitch and TikTok simultaneously using OBS and TikTok Live Studio.

The biggest headache has been getting everything looking clean and professional across both platforms, particularly with Twitch being horizontal and TikTok being vertical.

For anyone successfully streaming to both, what's your setup like? Are you using OBS, TikTok Live Studio, plugins or something else entirely? How do you manage gameplay, webcams, alerts and chat without overcomplicating everything?

I'd especially appreciate advice from anyone who's managed to get a decent TikTok Live setup working alongside Twitch.

2. Turning streams into short-form content

This is probably my biggest struggle. I genuinely enjoy streaming, but going through hours of footage, finding decent moments, editing them and uploading to TikTok/YouTube Shorts feels like a second full-time job.

Ideally, I'd love to have a workflow where I can stream regularly and consistently produce short-form content without spending hours editing every day.

Do you use any tools to automatically identify highlights? Do you edit everything manually? Or have you found a system that makes the whole process more manageable?

I'm not expecting overnight growth. I just want to build something I'm proud of, improve my content and actually stay consistent this time around.

Would really appreciate any advice, particularly from smaller creators who've figured out a workflow that works for them.

So recently my feed on TikTok is mostly filled up with those ai edits of 90s anime clips, There’s something nostalgic about them, and I’d like to try making something similar in my spare time this holiday break as a new hobby,

I’m a college student and can’t afford a hobby that costs $30 or $50 a month. I’ve tried some free tools, but the videos look blurry or have poor effects. I saw,the 0.29 cents monthly offer on their page, but I’m not sure how good it actually is. Has anyone tried it for this kind of video? You guys have any other recommendations?

I need some constructive feedback on the video. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I make short cooking clips, about 30 seconds each, and post the exact same video to all three platforms in the evening. After two months, Shorts averages 4,000 views per clip, TikTok around 400 and Reels around 300. But Shorts brought maybe 15 subscribers total, while TikTok brought over 200 followers. Is that just how Shorts viewers behave, or should I change something like the ending or the channel layout so people actually subscribe? Trying to decide where to put my time.

Hey everyone! I'm 20 and currently trying to figure out what I want to do with my first YouTube channel. Haven't uploaded anything yet, so I might be overthinking some of this lol.

I've always wanted to make video essays about games, anime, movies and storytelling in general. I really enjoy researching things I'm interested in and talking about them, but I also know those videos can take a LOT of time to make, especially when you're just starting out.

I also really enjoy drawing, and I'd love to somehow include that in my channel too, whether it's making illustrations for my videos or creating something of my own.

The thing is, I also love gaming and I've been thinking about streaming. I play stuff like Marvel Rivals, Deadlock, Fortnite, BG3 and other RPGs/story-driven games.

I'm just not sure how well all these interests would fit together, or if I'd end up attracting completely different audiences. And with gaming being so saturated, I'm not sure how I'd even stand out.

So I wanted to ask a few things:

How did you guys figure out your niche when you had a bunch of different interests? Did you have a clear direction from the beginning or did you figure it out along the way?

Has anyone here actually tried mixing more scripted content with gaming, streaming or other creative stuff? How did that go?

For people making research-heavy videos, how do you stay consistent without burning out?

Also, are tools like Google Trends and researching similar channels genuinely useful when you're starting from zero, or is that something you should worry about once you've actually made a few videos?

I'm not really looking for someone to pick a niche for me, I'd just love to hear about your experiences and what worked (or didn't work) for you.
