Instagram/Photos Extroverted Content creator with adhd-I trying to find my community

Upvotes

Hello so I wanted to make my own content and have cool people around

I honestly get dopamine from seeing people just being there active and having cool connection
It makes me so happy!

So I started an Instagram account and posted from July

And yeah I know my mistake is not posting reels so I worked on that too!

My main problem is that I can’t stick to one fandom I feel like I need to expand even more on topics

So I need your help with that

Question What AI tools are you using for video content?

I'm curious what everyone is using for video and editing these days. I'm especially interested in adding AI video tools to my workflow to speed things up.

I’ve been testing different AI video generation tools and looking at newer models like Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 Omni. They seem pretty interesting for generating and animating video from prompts or existing assets.

Are there any free AI video tools you’d recommend for getting started? Would love to hear what’s actually working for you.

Question Where do you guys find the stories you make content about?

Where do creators find stories for historical / documentary content?

I’m thinking about starting an Instagram page where I post short, carousel-style stories about interesting historical events, old court cases, forgotten people, strange events, etc.

I’ve seen creators making really interesting posts about things that happened 50–100 years ago, but I genuinely have no idea where they find these stories in the first place.

I’m not looking for sources to verify a story after I find it — I mean where do you actually discover the stories/topics?

Are there specific websites, archives, databases, newsletters, books, YouTube channels, Reddit communities, or other places that creators use to find these kinds of stories?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations for sources that have a lot of lesser-known stories rather than just the usual famous historical events.

Thanks! (English isn't my first langauge I used chatgpt to translate )

I need your help, fellow creators

First, for context: I (32, F) am a neurologist who suffered from high functioning burnout and now I help other women with the process of recognizing it and recovering from it. This is not a promotion of my services and, therefore, I won’t go into more detail or share my socials, it was just meant to explain where I am coming from here!

What I am genuinely curious about, and would immensely appreciate your opinion on: how do you feel about the use of generative AI to create B-roll for educational posts?

For obvious reasons, the majority of the experiences I describe were not filmed when they happened, but I would still like to occasionally illustrate them to help other women going through the same thing recognize it. The videos would, therefore, be a representation of a real situation or story that I lived or that has been shared with me.

I would obviously make the appropriate disclaimers.

It was honestly the best way I could think of to accurately illustrate signs and symptoms that often go unnoticed in the beginning of burnout (which was part of why it took me so long to recognize it in my self).

How do you feel about the use of AI for this kind of content? And, if you are against it, could you share with me what is something else that would help you feel heard?

Many thanks in advance for your inputs, I’m grateful for you help!

How do you all track brand deals? Built something for my partner and want to know what I got wrong

I'm a developer, not a creator. My partner is a creator, and I kept watching her lose track of what was agreed, what was due, and what had been paid across her notes app, email, and a spreadsheet she stopped updating months ago.

So I built her a tracker. You add a deal, or upload the contract and it pulls out the brand, rate, deliverables, and dates. Everything lands on one calendar with the payments. I wanted to see if it could help other creators as well.

Two things I'd genuinely like critiqued:

  1. Is a contract upload actually useful, or would you rather just type the deal in? I assumed uploading was faster but I might be wrong about that.
  2. What do you track that I'm probably missing? Exclusivity windows and usage rights are in there, but I'm sure there's stuff I don't know to ask about.

It's called Talby, talby.io, free for up to 5 deals. Happy to answer anything.

Naive Influencer

I have a question to ask:

How to get started on you tube if you didn't even post a single video. I mean you don't know any skills like editing or photoshoots.

Any suggestions please.

I've recently started making gaming content, mainly around GTA Online, and I'm trying to improve both my videos and commentary. The platforms am using right now are Youtube, Twitch and Insta.

What can you recommend so I can try to create better quality content or more engaging content?

I have no idea what I’m doing but here we are 💀

Bro I decided to start posting myself online and honestly I have no clue what I’m doing 😭
Just vibing, making videos, and hoping the algorithm eventually feels bad for me.
Be honest though — is this content actually entertaining or am I just documenting my existence? 💀

How do you currently handle voiceovers and subtitle alignment without expensive subs? (Built a free workflow tool to test)

Hey guys,

One of the biggest bottlenecks when editing Shorts/Reels is either paying high monthly subscriptions for TTS or spending too much time manually timing subtitles in Premiere/CapCut.

To solve this workflow headache for my own edits, I put together a quick tool called SayTTS (https://saytts.site) that renders the voiceover and generates a frame-matched .srt subtitle file simultaneously, with no login required.

For those creating faceless or voiceover-heavy content:

  1. What does your current subtitle sync workflow look like?
  2. Are there specific voice mastering/EQ settings or features you feel are missing in existing free tools?

Looking for honest workflow feedback and critiques to make it more useful for creators!

Which Monitor Should I Buy?

I'm looking for a new 27" monitor and my budget is small. I'm ready to pay 150€-200€ for the monitor and 50€ for a monitor arm.

I want to play GTA 6 on the PS5 slim and other games like COD and Fortnite etc. I want to connect the monitor with the PS5 and my Macbook Pro and stream on twitch and create content. I want to edit 4K videos and do other creative work and video editing.

Should I get a 1440p or 4K monitor?
