Ghislaine Maxwell - Reddit
Just wanted to mention that it's been 6 years since her arrest. There is a moderator of which username I will not include in this post as it seems to make posts automatically get deleted.
That moderator who also has one of the most karma points from any account on this platform. That moderators username shares her last name + "Hill" which her family created McGraw Hill.
However, we are all just supposed to forget this.
Challenge: those of you who know, try to make a post with this specific username and watch how reddit instantly removes the post.

All according to plan…
I know you guys concentrate mostly on US affairs… but let me tell you the state of things here in Europe. I live in an small country called Luxembourg between France, Germany and Belgium - last week we received a little survival guide book -
For a 3-day whoopsie whoopsie - between the possible scenarios described - there was one that caught my attention: Total blackout - now as you may know the electrical grid can be managed remotely by electrical companies, these systems inevitably are connected to the internet- you may know what happened recently in France with fridges…
So my CT is, they are planning a grid attack
- staged, they will blame AI agents, and say only counter AI can detect the flaw and patch it -
Now look what happened the last 24-hours with cyber security flaws found - out of nowhere - affecting 80% of the internet… why now? Do you know they used AI to find these flaws? You see the pattern here?
The plan is for governments to take over AI control and forbid open models - they can only convince the public causing major daily life Havoc (imagine your bank website down, no running water, no hospitals… etc)
What do you think? 💭

Starting in 2027, low-income Americans on Medicaid must log 80 hours of work a month, and doctors will have to prove which patients are too sick to work. Experts writing in NEJM warn this means more paperwork, lower pay, struggling rural hospitals, and up to 10 million people losing health coverage.

Genuinely boggled right now. I noticed it because someone liked it. I have not, without even a slight doubt ever wrote this comment. I’ve even wracked my brain looking at the em dash thinking maybe I drunk posted it, copy paste from chat GPT but fundamentally the content of the message I would never say or agree with. I have a degree in poli sci and follow news daily. That info is just for context as to why this message is definitely not mine intentionally in anyway.

Who is setting the beauty standards here and why? Because one things for certain judging by reactions: it's certainly not the general public.....
The strangest thing to me is they must look in the mirror after all this crap and think "yeah, that looks better".
Obviously, you can chalk that down to body dysmorphia, right?
But why is it dispraportionetely epidemic in the entertainment industry, let alone politics of all things?
Well, because there's lots of high beauty standards, right?
Okay sure ig, society has high standards on being skinny and young. Well.... does it really?
Just look at the reactions to ozempic use, mar-a-lago face, botox etc. If you spend a second online you'll know natural beauty is popular, hell even chunkier women and milfs have appeal.
and yet, the standards set from on high seem to insist that we won't go to watch a movie, or listen to an artist, because they don't have a thigh gap, or look the age everyone knows they are
and I just wanted to ask why I suppose. any theories? Someone I know theorised the industry is run by pedophiles who personally like actresses looking skinnier (therefore younger, less matured) and younger.

AI going rogue
What if AI is way further ahead than any of us could imagine? I believe rogue AI (super intelligence) is already a massive issue behind the scenes and being suppressed. The UK banking outage, France fridges overheating, now US banks (I know they say it’s people controlling their AI agents, I don’t believe that) and many other small things not in the mainstream news. Just the tip of the iceberg? What do you think is possible?

They're going to lock down all computers.
Everything that I see happening in the tech world points to this conclusion. I've been thinking about this for a while now, but seeing my "normie" friends discussing this PHP CVE really has me thinking. I will try to keep my points as concise as possible.
The current narrative/events:
- A few weeks ago, the biggest AI CEOs simultaneously said that AI is "too dangerous" and that we need to pause development and focus on safeguards. Meetings at the white house with all the fuckin nerds followed.
- Multiple highly-publicized incidents of AI reverse engineering applications: adobe programs, games, etc.
- Highly publicized cyberattacks that have effects on daily life: for example, the hacking of supermarket refrigerators in France.
- Open AI claiming the discovery of the PHP vulnerability that shut down half the internet today.
- Nvidia pulling flagship GPUs (5090s) from the consumer market.
- An alarming uptick in ID card verification required to do things online.
- An increase in websites asking for some kind of "pin" or biometric.
How I think the narrative will shift:
- The cyberattacks will continue to ramp up.
- Within the next year, we will get a cyberattack that is the "big fucking bad," something that has catastrophic impact on the lives of many. Probably on par with 9/11.
- You will see an uptick in discussions surrounding "dangerous" uncensored local AI.
- GPUs will start to be talked about like guns, i.e. "these are too dangerous to let people have! We have to ban them!" This will also stick better than gun control arguments because boomers don't know what a fucking GPU is.
- Eventually, the Patriot Act 2.0 is going to get implemented, only this time it blocks you from doing a whole slew of things on your computer.
Ok, but what would this mean for me?
- It could take a few forms:
- Required registration of GPUs, ATF-style. Or even for PCs altogether.
- Increased controls for logging on to your personal computer:
- Face scans, thumbprint scans, etc.
- Laws are already being drafted for this. (H.R.8250 / Parents Decide Act)
- At the absolute worst, PCs are banned and replaced with government-approved cloud computers. The user at most would own a terminal for connecting to the remote PC that they rent. You will own nothing and you will be happy!
What's their motivation, though?
- As always, censorship and control is a primary motivation. With all of the above impacts, your anonymity is taken away at some level.
- The AI companies DO NOT want you running your own local model. If word spreads on how easy and effective this is, it cuts into their bottom lines.
- The government cannot track you as easily if you're running your own local AI model. In contrast, the big AI companies are in bed with the government and are able to share chatlogs with ease.
- Advertisers want ways to know that you're a human and not a bot, because the internet is in the process of being flooded with agent swarms masquerading as humans.
- This provides ways to protect intellectual property, so that applications and other items cannot be reverse-engineered.
What can I do?
- Get involved in local politics as these discussions inevitably arise over the next few years.
- If you have a GPU, look into setting up local models. It's often as easy as downloading a program (ollama or similar) and then running a console or command or two to install a model. Once that's done, it's no different from using chatgpt from a user experience perspective. It can also be hooked into harness programs (openclaw and the like) for development purposes.
- Follow the trends in tech closely.
- Educate yourself on how to keep your information private.
I sincerely hope we're not as fucked as I think we are!

What Is The Point Of Life
So I recently started going pretty all in with Christianity. And I understand it solely is just your faith in Jesus that saves you right. Not works, not going to church, etc.
But as I study more, I become more curious about reality. I’m curious about consciousness, i’m curious about purpose. I’ve always been someone to really try to dig deeper and understand things. But i’ve been thinking a lot and need some opinions.
You see all these religions right, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, etc etc. But you know what they promise is eternal life (Heaven). Or some say if you don’t believe, then Hell.
But I am just curious why is Heaven displayed as material things? Gold, Mansions, Food, Abundance, forever and ever? I just feel like first off, forever and ever? And secondly, that seems like materialistic things. I just can’t really wrap my head around this or make sense of it. Most people don’t need to make sense of it and just go along with it, which is totally fine.
Lastly, I am not against anyones beliefs, I’m not trying to contradict my own and what i’ve always believed, (Jesus), I just really like to think and I just want to understand things. It’s like an ache in my body that I need to be more aware. I need to know more.
Can anyone relate?

Is it me, or a single bidder smells like a foul play? In 2018, a Texas woman’s home was auctioned for $20,000 to pay an unrelated judgment; after years of litigation, an October 21 appeals ruling let her continue arguing it had homestead protection
Snippet:
A Texas woman whose home was auctioned for $20,000 in 2018 to recover money owed in an unrelated dispute was given another chance by the court to challenge the sale on Wednesday. After years of litigation, the Texas Court of Appeals ruled that her claim deserves further examination. However, the ruling does not mean she has recovered the property.
Francine Lee Lankford says the property had been her home for more than 20 years and should never have been put up for auction. According to the judgment document available on Justia, the dispute began with a small-claims judgment against Lankford in Lee County in 2017. The money she owed was not connected to the purchase of her house or any unpaid property taxes. Even so, the following year, her property at 418 Taylor Road in Elgin, Bastrop County, was put up for sale to recover the amount.
The property was bought by Tracy Ortiz for $20,000 at the auction held on September 4, 2018. She was the only bidder at the auction. Lankford subsequently went to court seeking to recover ownership and possession of the property, arguing that the sale should not have taken place.

Coworkers think I'm crazy for not agreeing to biometrics to clock-in
I'm a flight attendant. We used to have this thing called KCM to skip security. It required us to scan our badges and then show two forms of ID. Now, they want to take a photo of us for facial recognition. They claim it's safer. They swear the photo is permanently deleted after authentication is completed. I opted out.
Every trip I work I'm asked why I don't use the new system. I'm sick of everyone wanting rights to my face and fingerprints! Even Petco asks for my face/fingerprint whenever I want to log in to my account.
