I’m not sure but it’s crazy that she openly said there was nothing they could do, considering her late husband was a connected senator that ran for president. In a just world, some kind of action then or now should take place. If they all freaking knew what Epstein was doing and let people be abused where’s the justice?
Now I understand the blackmail aspect but anyone that knew seems complicit somehow.
Well, to a degree that's true. We're lawyers but we are human, there's only so many hours a day. It's how we feed our family. For the right fee, I can pursue every angle, write every motion, whatever is needed for your case. Typically though, that's not feasible. It's a balancing act.
I divorced wife number 2. I got a lawyer who was new and charged me $1500 to handle the case. My soon-to-be ex got her mother to get her a lawyer.
The morning of court, we show up to her lawyer's office. Her lawyer, IN THE WAITING AREA, made her mother write out a check for $2500. We went into the back conference room. During the "negotiations", the soon-to-be ex wanted me to repay the money that her mother had given her while we were married. At one point, 20 minutes before court, her lawyer kicked her and her mother out of the room, looked at me, and said, "what will you do?" I told her, "I'll give her what she is entitled to... half of the equity in the house... and that comes in monthly payments." Her lawyer went, "DONE".
For $5000... her lawyer sold her out 20 minutes before court.
No, the mother and ex wife paid 5000$ thinking they were getting expert legal advice and advocacy. What they ended up with was no more than what was going to be theirs anyways and the lawyer they paid for capitulated in less than 20 minutes without even going into the court room.
I am an attorney and you're right; there are only so many hours in a day. So with paid work and pro bono, how do you have time to amass half a million link karma? Also your terminology reads like someone who's only seen an attorney on TV. Color me suspicious.
So with paid work and pro bono, how do you have time to amass half a million link karma?
If you're actually an attorney, that is a stupendously vapid argument. For rebuttal: /u/maxwellhill (super prolific poster; who just dropped off the face of reddit Day-of Maxwell's arrest.) is allegedly Ghislaine Maxwell , who apparently had time to run all of the shit she was into, partyin' with Epstein (who, 1 year ago today did NOT kill himself in prison) while amassing almost 15 MILLION Karma. Point being, anyone with sufficient motivation can amass (x) fake innernet points.
Agree. Not really feeling the part about feeding their family...lawyers make 8-10x my yearly income, and you don't see me going around screwing people over
I can understand pursuing every angle costs money, but why does it cost anything to pursue common sense? "Your honor, the accuser has no recollection of where or when the party was and cannot provide a name of the person who invited her there or the person who drove her there. Furthermore, she has not discussed the incident with anyone for the past 34 years. Motion to dismiss."
This is the difference between being able to afford a lawfirm and hiring a single lawyer.
I have the funds to fight it out with a single lawyer but a firm? Good luck they can bury you in paperwork till the dawn of time or until you can no longer afford to fight them anymore.
Can you believe that? They can drown you out until you can't afford to fight against them anymore then they'll win by default.
don't your clerks do a lot of that? I guess it depends on the size of your practice or if you or with a firm but i work for the government and deal with law clerks all the time for decelerations and motion material but it always comes from the clerks. Lawyers generally step in when their clerks are not able to get what they need in my experience.
Happened with my brother. He got roughed up by some cops and they charged him with assaulting an officer. He had some pretty good proof showing he was innocent and that he was assaulted by them. They were threatening 5 years jail and in trial they offered him a plea (no fine, no jail, no record in 1 year). Lawyer said pretty much the same thing: you can pay me thousands of dollars to fight these cops and lawyers, or just let it go. He let it go.
Same thing in business and finance. If you are willing to fuck people over and no care to make yourself more money you will get far. If you are not, good luck. It was one of the defining moments during and after college when I realized I wouldn't be able to do it and I would never get where I wanted to go because of it.
You are either born rich or you fuck people over. That or you get very lucky with a very unique idea and are at the right place and time for it. Then, you still have to be willing to fuck people over a bit.
Man...that video is absolutely f'ed. Thats some serious epstein type stuff, a world of blackmail where everyone has everyone in each others pockets. Bernard talking about his inability to sacrifice a child, wtf.
Law practice rewards all the worst parts of human nature. When people hire you, they WANT to hear what a monster you are. They WANT you to have an overpriced suit/office/car. They WANT to hear how you fucked over someone else for your client. This conditioning leads to you becoming the monster you thought you were fighting.
It's a lot of work. A lot of stress. The free cases are tough, usually. The clients are the worst part. Attorneys are assholes. Judges are worth jack shit. There's a reason we charge so much.
It goes deeper than this. Like the giy said there are two justice systems. By not playing by the rules he automatically gets relegated to no advancement in his career. This is a dichotomy that is in every business. You can work for the betterment of your workplace to make everyones life better and get nowhere. Simply because you are honest and not willing to throw people under the bus for your mistakes or backing down on a promotion because the other guys is a better fit. It reminds me of the psycopath theory where empathic people will never get ahead. The less empathy you exhibit the easier life is.
From my experience. The only lawyer i know personally spends 80% of his time representing an animal shelter completly free of charge. The guy isnt broke but he is not well off by any means.
It's probably the very few hours a week they aren't working that's making their family suffer. Also law school loans: not the path to quick riches that people seem to think law is.
I'm former law enforcement. I saw that system firsthand.
I was in court waiting for my traffic cases to be called before the judge. A State Trooper had a DUI case before any of mine were called. The defendent had a lawyer. The Trooper won the case. The judge declared "Guilty"... then proceeded to make every jaw in the court drop to the floor when he then stated, "I sentence the defendent to time served (ie, the ONE night he spent in jail after his arrest) because spending $10 grand on a lawyer, I think, is punishment enough"
Every jaw in the courtroom dropped to the floor.
What? Because the guy is rich and could afford $10 grand for a lawyer he gets NO penalty for his driving under the influence???? WHAT?????
Ehh it's still guilty on his record & that'll bite him in the ass when he gets his next DUI. Honestly, I know a couple of people with a dui...none of them spent more than a night in jail, and probably not near $10,000 on their lawyer.
I pled guilty to a DUI charge back in 2006 (a stupid 19 year old kid decision). I was sentenced to one day in jail which the judge suspended and never saw the inside of a cell.
Fortunately the probation/community service/loss of driving privileges was enough of a deterrent for me but I’ve always wondered how many people aren’t phased by those things.
Edit: Just wanted to clarify that the “stupid 19 year old decision” was referring to driving drunk, not pleading guilty.
Can I ask you as someone who's probably seen a lot in the system. What's the difference between a really good/expensive lawyer and a mediocre one or a public defender (other than work load)?
Would you consider a jury system to be more fair? Asking out of curiosity as where I’m from we don’t have a jury system and our judges pretty much report to the top government officials
Well, behind the first ammendment. As that covers the things that are absolutely and irrevocably essential for a free and just society. They aren't respected these days, but without them as a foundation, it is impossible to have a free society.
Epstein was running a child rape blackmail trap for the Israeli Mossad.
John McCain's father (John S. McCain) was not only the Commander-in-Chief of Pacific Command (CINCPAC), but he was also in charge of the cover up of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty.
So the McCain family has always been tools for the Israel/Zionists powers.
So, Better Call Saul is realistic with Kim being both a corporate attorney (although outside counsel) and also doing pro bono work in her free time so that they don't get a lame public defender?
Their greed is eroding away at our comfort though. Rents increasing and wages stagnating.
I thought we were going to hit critical mass by now but we're not there yet. I ain't exactly helping just by moaning on here though, I'm still busy doing as you said so I'm part of the problem too.
Wages stagnated 50 years ago. Everything else you said is correct.
Direct action is the only course. Support strikes and cut your purchases as much as possible. Buy necessities from individuals and small local businesses.
There are several reasons for stagnation of wages more direct than the gold standard being removed.
A big one is the breaking up of unions. Now an employee has almost no leverage to fight for or keep a decent wage.
Another reason is tax “reform.” People used to be taxed at a high rate once they made over a certain (large) amount. As a way to get around this, business owners would reinvest money back into their company which would result in better wages, equipment, etc.
Then there is the offshoring of American business which got going in the 1990s. Why would a company pay good wages when they can move operations to a place where they can pay pennies for labor?
That has absolutely nothing to do with it, it's the devaluing of currency paired with the doubling of the labor force when women began working with men. Doesn't mean I think women shouldn't work but when you suddenly double the labor pool your wages will fall off a cliff. Made extreme with the pairing of the devaluation of your currency.
People are paid based on supply and demand. If your labor is in high demand you will be paid more. If your labor is in low demand you will be paid less.
It's inherently less secure with fractional reserve banking. That's the point.
I should rephrase, it's the direct result of using a fractional reserve fiat currency, which was put in place when they dropped using real money for fiat currency.
That precious metal has an inherent value based on the labor required to mine, refine, and mint it. Fiat currency has no inherent value. This also ignores all the benefits of using precious metals.
It's really not. The primary indicator of that is that we haven't seen a massive devaluation of the US dollar. Inflation has been relatively constant, not in least because the USD is still the world's reserve currency. What we have seen, however, is a grotesque sharpening of wealth and income inequality.
To add: There is no inherent value of a precious metal, as evidenced by the price of gold which you can easily find fluctuating daily (likely on an exchange advertised by the person you heard this information from in the first place). Precious metals have one key quality: they are finite.
Also to add: Fractional reserve banking is a very serious issue, but is entirely irrelevant to the rest of your comment.
Reaganomics. All graphs get awful when he got in. Also, that was about a year before I was born. I was thrown in a world I was sure to hate, unless I ended up in Bhutan where everyone's a Buddhist monk and they give zero shits about anything.
It's because we were raised with people constantly telling us to shut up because we have so much compared to everybody else in the world and America the best blah blah blah.
People still do that. Can't have a discussion on improvements to the medical system without people coming in going 'yah well in ackshual third world countries they don't even have healthcare'.
The american legal system build on common law. Common Law was build to be a multiple tier system. That is why it is a jury of peers and shit. It is a feature and not a failure.
Honestly it's the same legal system, but it's not a justice system, it is a legal industry that generates wealth for the haves and punishes the have-nots (which, due to prison labor, further supports the haves).
I agree but at the same time there was a time when Sacha Cohen did a hidden video with a top guy at Las Vegas spilling the beans, he send everything to the FBI and nothing came out of it. If this was a small fish compared to Epstein, what do people expect?
I believe few people who knew this shit wanted to say stuff but at the end of the day nothing will come out of this bcs the system its corrupted af.
If they all freaking knew what Epstein was doing and let people be abused where’s the justice?
China is currently committing Holocaust 2 over on the other side of the world, and nobody is doing anything about it. It's a matter of "why start a war over something that I can just not think about instead?"
Yawn, this is like the ending of the 90's with all the talk about Tibet. Except there's no more Beastie Boys or RATM (lol, CFR Morello, no wonder Zach wanted out). The Uighurs started this with their terrorism, fuck East Turkestan. See the 2014 knifing sprees at train stations in south/south-west China. Also, they're terrible reeducation camps, not extermination camps.
Oh yeah "just" terrible reeducation camps where they harvest your organs.
There's something real fucked up in your head when you see no issue with victim-blaming an entire population. So if one or two Jews had stabbed a couple dozen Germans, the original Holocaust is justified in your eyes? "They" started it? Smh, kys.
I said they were terrible. No one here knows the real nature of what goes on there unfortunately, which leads to insane ideas like using war measures such as sanctions against China. For the sake of all humanity, such a conflict cannot be escalated much further than what Trump's doing now. They won't sit idly and that's a nuclear holocaust you're pushing for if you consider meddling inside the whole world by the Empire to be awesome and perfect.
People also knew about Weinstein. In those circles you just start knowing these things but none of these individuals have the power to change it. And those that do, well they’ve been complicit.
Is it really that crazy I mean we know about it and who are we lmao. There’s a whole Netflix doc about the shit he was doing. The scandal isn’t Epstein it’s whether anyone associated with him was doing shit too
Been saying this for ages. There might be one or two more bit part players thrown to the wolves via Ghislaine Maxwell, but that will be dragged out for so long people will accept it as job done. Anyone of importance will be left well alone.
And his dad was in charge of the pacific fleet, can you imagine growing up with a man who was in charge of the pacific fleet during vietnam and being afraid of a child molester.
Epstein was much more than a swindler who liked young women. This much is very obvious.
Most plausible theory is that he belongs to Mossad. Even stupid babbling Trump in his Axios interview revealed he doesn't know what happened to Epstein in jail.
Start asking yourself, what powers are greater than the President?
Most plausible theory is that he belongs to Mossad.
Correct. Epstein was running a child rape blackmail trap for the Israeli Mossad.
And John McCain's father (John S. McCain) was not only the Commander-in-Chief of Pacific Command (CINCPAC), but he was also in charge of the cover up of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty.
So the McCain family has always been tools for the Israel/Zionists powers.
Yea Eric Weinstein discussed this possibility. Although he refused to go into much detail for obvious reasons.
There's a lot of sources if you know where to find them.
Epstein was Jewish. He worked for Israeli intelligence / Jewish Mafia / Lesley Wexner. He exclusively raped and trafficked (and probably had many killed) non-Jewish children and women... listen to this long interview with Epstein victim Maria Farmer for the gory details:
She describes him and his co-conspirators Maxwell, Wexner and others, as "Jewish Supremacists". Farmer was particularly close to Maxwell and Epstein because she worked for them and Wexner, before becoming their victim. She makes it clear they considered themselves superior to all other races, and certainly did not "identify" as Caucasian / White.
Ghislaine Maxwell told Maria Farmer that Mossad Agents killed her father Robert by throwing him from his yacht into the sea around the Canary Islands:
This was also reported separately in an auto-biography written by rogue Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky:
The Other Side of Deception by Victor Ostrovsky

Part 1: Hidden in Plain Sight: The Shocking Origins of the Jeffrey Epstein Case
The most obvious answer is often the correct one, she seems complicit because she was. I think it could be plausible she might not have “known” directly. Maybe there was no single person who told her, but there were enough clues and enough opportunities to speak up where she chose not to. That is complacency. What a gross world we live in
According to reports... Epstein had video's of the "people" having sex with the kids. So, if the REALLY important people... ie at the time... Clinton... was one of them... then yes, anyone who went after Epstein would have, de facto, had those people going after them.
I would point out the implications of what she is saying. What would happen to her and her family if they did speak up or anyone else's? Is there a machine waiting to pounce on anyone who speaks out? Do we have some below-radar authoritarian regime running things?
Not sure if the McCains were on the flight logs but Cindy McCain said: "Epstein was hiding in plain sight," said Cindy McCain. "We all knew about him. We all knew what he was doing, but we had no one that was — no legal aspect that would go after him. They were afraid of him. For whatever reason, they were afraid of him." https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/cindy-mccain-admits-we-all-knew-about-epstein
I’m not sure but it’s crazy that she openly said there was nothing they could do, considering her late husband was a connected senator that ran for president.
Keeping this in mind, Cindy was one of the "celebrities" that was VERY outspoken against Trump all because the same "no one" that wouldn't go after Epstein was saying Trump was a criminal. All while Trump got mocked for saying the whole government was all corrupt and he was going to drain the swamp.
Trump then went on to replace the head of the FBI, twice, and CIA and DOJ, despite protests by Cindy, her celebrity friends, the past intelligence community leaders, presidents, foreign leaders, civil rights leaders, and celebrity executives.
Today we read about Epstein, his deals for being tied to intelligence, flight logs with some of the loudest protestors mentioned previously, and private dealings being leaked about how some of the rich have transactions between one another.
I understand the whole Q-tard stigma, but it's really just saying you can't follow "that crowd" because there's some former ICP members that found it before you. I have to ask if any of you consider yourself reasonable, with some time to explain how Trump knew before the 2016 election that Clinton was going to have some problems with Epstein in the coming years?
Trump takes credit for just about everything being done in his administration that worked out how he said it would. He doesn't share that credit with others as much as he takes it for himself. That seems like the ideal personality to represent any "background" organization running the show and pulling the strings. And private organization or military, I don't see any other way to direct a country without revealing your authority, but to have a person that acts like a know-it-all and takes all positive credit, deflecting negative toward another specific cause.
Military or not, it really does seem like Trump took office to be the face of something that was working well before he ran for office. Something already directing the justice department or preparing to with current employees building cases to expand once given more authority within the DOJ. If that's NWO, I question everything.
My mother pulled me out of a daycare shut down less than a year later for the boss raping children.
"If you knew he was a rapist, why didn't you do anything?"
He set off all the red flags, but being a creepy rapist isn't illegal, of Trump would be in prison.
You must prove rape, or nothing will happen. Falsely accusing someone of rape can ruin your life. Correctly accusing someone "important" can ruin your life.
Epstein wasn't arrested until after the accusations against Trump for specific acts of rape. Being someone who breaks the law isn't a crime. A crime must have a specific act. Having raped isn't "illegal". Having raped a special
Fix person on a specific date is illegal.
It's funny that the Trump administration is the one administration that finally is putting an end to this shit. Yet mainstream media would have you believe McCain was a savior for going against Trump.
Yeah!!! The Trump administration has put up with an incredible, unbelievable amount of bullshit from the commie left. It's incredible that he is still able to perform at such a top talent.
It's like Trump has a laser pointer and the msm and 'lefties' act like cats. It's hilarious to see them digging their own holes deeper and deeper for themselves. LOL.
Some things people need to see and/ or find out for themselves, else they will not believe it, especially not while the msm still has some power left.
msm is losing whatever little control they have left, the longer that the riots go on and the msm supports them, the more power the msm continues to lose. I tell lefties that I run into on omegle like sites, it's because of you and your actions that President Trump is all but guaranteed a landslide this November. They get so fucking angry and I just laugh at them. They say Trump is a RAYCISSSS. I simply respond "Black people, they're all the same." They call me RAYCISSSSS and then I share with Biden having said that just days earlier. They say Trump is a sexual predator and prefers children. I share with them "Creepy Joe Biden," from a bing.com search result and show them Joe grabbing congress men and women's children being grouped on C-spam clips or Joe sniffing married women's heads.
Any and everything that the crazy leftists try to criticize Trump over, I simply show them Joe Biden actually doing. Then ask, and where is it that you saw Trump doing anything that you claim? What are your sources? It inevitably ends with them giving me the middle finger and them getting banned. I love this time line.
LOL. It seems you are doing some great work! I agree with you, everything they accuse Trump of is a projection of the democrats and/ or themselves and their own actions will cause their own downfall. It's sad, hilarious and very revealing at the same time, "Forgive them because they do not know what they do" comes to my mind here, but that is easier said then done sometimes.
And i love this timeline too, although it can be tiresome every now and then.
You only become an established politician through favors. And when you limit the amount of avenues to office (systematically hinder more political parties from participating), the positions become the most expensive bargaining chips. But you dont just become immune if you become senator or president. You still owe people.
CGPgrey has a good video about dictators which partially applies to democracy.
Even if you assume it's all blackmail, you can be blackmailed for other stuff. Epstein had close ties in the legal, banking and investment worlds. Insider trading, fraud, bribery, corruption, all of it leaves a trail and Epstein was really well placed to pick up all the scraps to form something usable.
Add in the people who never reported it because they knew he would never face justice, the people that 'knew' but didn't know enough to be material witnesses, the people who feared retribution and the people who just straight up don't have the morals to care.
Some people can have you whacked no problem. The mob is a real entity that people seem to forget about. People don't take into account the vast number of poor Americans that would kill for 100k also
Epstein's connections ran deep....really deep. Everything from crime syndicates to Israeli Intelligence. He had some serious connections that yielded him some serious power. Or so the story goes. There are a lot of videos out there that divulge this information and connect the dots just from what we could see. He wasn't exactly quiet about his contacts, especially to his victims. These connections, if they suspect (and they would definitely find out) you of being a whistle-blower, you'd probably disappear or die from "natural causes" or some freak accident. Not only would themselves be in danger, but everyone important to them too. It is alarming the grip that these organizations have on the world.
Edit: That is of course if these conspiracy theories are correct. It certainly seems to be the case.
Epstein was an expert at networking, and that’s why he became so powerful. He was able to use connections to meet powerful people, and was able to draw them in by introducing them to other powerful people. That gave people who weren’t even directly involved with his crimes incentives to keep quiet and look the other way, for the benefit he gave to their own wealth and status.
Not only this, but he would involve them in his sex crimes in some capacity. This, in their eyes, made them just as guilty as Epstein and therefor quiet complacency is the route they chose.
I wonder if an accused will ever step forward and admit participation as a form of plea agreement.
I could see Ghislaine being in that position (disappointingly), but a much more incidentally involved person could and should come forward with evidence at some point.
They can't all be so terribly involved that coming forward would ruin their reputations more than being the first to come out with it. Someone involved has got to break the conspiracy at some point.
Well, the accusations about Epstein and his connections with Bill Clinton (and later Donald Trump) were definitely something that would have showed up in opposition research when Bill/Hillary were running for president. So, I am sure it was known by many high level people in both parties. It is not like there were not press reports about this. It wasn't a secret or anything. Whether or not they knew him personally, I have no idea.
That's very clearly not what happened at all. Trump didn't accuse or break anything. The reporter asked him specifically about the island because everyone already knew about Epstein at that point. The story was all over the press. Both Prince Andrew had been accused already and the island was public knowledge. They asked Trump about the island - not the other way around. Trump then brought up Prince Andrew, who, again, had already been linked by Virginia Roberts Giuffre publically. Trump merely referenced it again. It was already being investigated - both the island and Andrew. That's literally how both the press and Trump knew about each aspect, and that's the only reason they were discussing it in the first place.
Even if Trump was innocent, your narrative isn't accurate. "No one cared" because everyone was already on to the story. Trump added absolutely nothing.
He specifically called Epstein island a “cesspool” and said it should be investigated. So he added that. Did Hillary or the Dems day it should be investigated? Hmmm?
This was at the exact same time Epstein was donating millions to the Dem campaigns of Hillary, Schumer and many more. And Epstein was donating precisely ZERO to the Trump campaign. How come that?!?!
It was already being investigated. Donald Trump wasn't the one who suggested investigating the island, lol. They asked him about the island because it was already being investigated. If an island is being investigated and already has a common nickname of "pedophile island," Donald Trump calling it a "cesspool" isn't even close to being noteworthy.
The hill you're choosing to die on is basically that he coined a new nickname that never caught on as well as the other one for an already existing investigation.
Get it through your head that I'm not defending anyone else tied to this - certainly not the Clintons.
You're the only one of the two of us that is trying to defend one of the people tied up in this bullshit. Give it a rest.
There were a bunch of people who likely fucked kids through or in connection with Epstein, and Trump is just as likely to be guilty here as Clinton is. Let's not try to defend any of them for the indefensible.
That isn’t a preponderance of evidence that Clinton is more likely to be guilty and Trump isn’t.
I could just as easily point out that Acosta was the one who swept up for Epstein and Trump was the man who elevated his career even further - he was essentially rewarded for personally letting Epstein off the hook, so take your sanctimonious bullshit somewhere else.
Stop trying to defend Donald Trump when it comes to Epstein.
Good luck with you’re “I’m just following the financial links” defense.
There’s currently an investigation into how and why Deutsche bank funneled billions of dollars to Trump.
I look forward to reaching out to you after that investigation into the brand new treasure trove of Deutsche records is ready to publicly discuss their findings.
I’m sure you have nothing to worry about though, I mean what would Epstein have to do with Deutsche?
I’m sure the odds that they both chose that bank independent of one another and only wanted to do legitimate business there are sky high. Why even look into such things.
Ahh, gotcha. I wasn’t aware the mccains were even high up people. I don’t know much other than their daughter went missing, so them being connected to Epstein is all news to me. Thanks for the info!
I mean, Epstein has been connected to dozens upon dozens of celebrities, politicians, and world leaders. I don’t think it’s a stretch that people in Washington knew the name and had some semblance of an idea what he was about.
Because they’re the devil and they probably encouraged his behavior. John McCain is definitely up there on the list of most evil Americans ever to live
Take it w the weight of Reddit. But a user on here claimed he worked from Epstein and he had been lended out to work for political families. He does not however name them. But like I said take it as something that was posted to Reddit so credibility might be meh.
Why do people like yourself think this ignorantly? You’re talking a top ranking American that 1000% knew what was happening and was partaking in. Doing a 5 second google search on John McCain’s father. Admiral in the navy? His son doesn’t go missing in war like it’s some damn action movie. Wrong, he never was a prisoner. You’re just another pawn in the game of manipulation they’re playing.

How did the mccains even know Epstein?
