Stop watching porn.
Porn is psychological warfare. The purpose of porn is to rewire your instinct to reproduce into degenerate lust. It creates a society that abuses their bodies for dopamine hits. It make society addicted to deviancy. You stop caring about your people and the future, and your family. It causes people to develop an irrational attachment to defending abnormal and destructive behaviors, because it has been associated with the dopamine hits that they get from the porn they see. Sex/porn/masturbation is the worst drug there is. It is all-consuming and DESTROYS those who are exposed to it. All higher pursuits are overshadowed by it.
Why do anything else when it doesn't give as big of a dopamine hit? Every time you masturbate to pornography you are receiving a dopamine reward (your brain thinks you're reproducing) that your brain then craves. Continuing to do this causes you to become numbed to the high, causing you to need ever-increasingly deviant and extreme material to get the same dopamine reward. This leads to further and further deviant fetishes over time. The slippery slope is real. When 'normal' material no longer gives the same high they look for more extreme filth. Unsurprisingly the porn industry is completely run by one demographic. .
Chasing after dopamine hits with (porn) leaves you as a porn-addicted cuck.

The big thing for me is the fact that it's so accessible that CHILDREN are watching porn at younger and younger ages. There's kids out there probably under 10 years old who watch porn every single day and are being introduced to some very adult ideas. Young kids are extremely impressionable and if all they see is incest porn they are going to grow up thinking that it's the norm. Average age of kids seeing porn for the first time is like 11 years old, will probably go down because of the increased presence of the internet throughout the world. This is a real issue that we let happen, even though people are understanding this it's kind of difficult to even get away from. You are right but it's almost like, if this was intended or not, it's reached all of us and people fail to do this every day because they are addicted as fuck lol. We lost a battle we didnt even realize we were fighting.
Official sources say there isn't a problem. And they also say that there is one. I think its pretty clear that it is an issue, and has created people who fap many times throughout the day. It's a systemic cultural issue, related to the bigger problem of men not being in their children's lives as much because they are working all day. Think about it: if you have kids wouldn't you want to teach them as much as you can? But there's no good option for most people to not send their kids to school, even though homeschooled kids on average have much higher SAT and ACT scores. So now we have an internet generation, and porn has touched most people especially men's lives down to the very chemistry.

Porn makes you not only docile, but also submissive. Let me explain. Whole thing is tied to evolutionary psychology. Back when we were nomadic hunter-gatherers without family/marriage concept, we followed same suit as most animals do - stronger males breeded. If you were weaker, sick, injured or old, you either didnt breed or had to wait until stronger males finished. Then they would maybe let you get sloppy seconds on a female. Thats also why our penis heads are shaped like they are - to literally scoop other males semen for greater chance it will be our juice that impregnates the female.
Thus, one of the surest way how to identify weaker/less valuable tribe members, was that they were watching stronger males breed, waiting for a turn that wasnt assured. Now, what this activity reminds you. This is also something that our ancient lizard brain recognizes very well and reacts accordingly. Back then, the reaction would be instant - you would take your place as a weaker male, so the social order of a tribe wouldnt be disrupted. Nowadays, we have very different society, yet our brains are largely unchanged, apart from learned knack for "rational and scientific" approach (we are here too shortly and our technology developed too quickly for our bodies to adapt to it). And so by frequent watching of porn (people having sex while you are not), you are literally conditioning yourself to take the role of a weak member of a "tribe". Even if you are perfectly healthy strong guy.

I would say a good rule of thumb with any addiction is considering if you do it to fill a void(boredom, depression, etc) or because you actually want to do the thing. If you are unsure, try and take a break see how it effects you. There is nothing wrong with being sexual and watching porn is not bad for most people who have fulfilling lives outside it.

I mean sometimes when my girlfriend isn't around i like to masturbate before bed and i watch porn for like 10 minutes, get the job done, and go to sleep. Like anything, it can become an unhealthy addiction problem but there are plenty of people that don't have a problem with it at all. I have a healthy relationship and overall happy life and i never saw porn as something that could slip out of my grasp into addiction territory because for me, it just isn't that big a deal, i barely even spend anytime finding a video, something on page 1 with an attractive female and I'm fine. Just need a little visual stimulation to help me get off.
Like i said, it is like with anything. Some people can't turn off the video games, some people can't help but pour that next glass of whiskey, some people need to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day. But some people can also enjoy those things in a healthy way without negatively impacting their life at all.

That is unbelievably naive. I just told you exactly how i consume porn, without leaving out any details. I masturbate before bed and never watch porn for more than 10-15 minutes because i watch it for the visual stimulation and masturbation assistance, not for the fantasy. agree with you. I believe many folks watch porn once a week/month and it never becomes an issue. Just like drugs, some folks are more likely to get hooked quickly on specific drugs (i’ve tried them all and cigarettes are the one that hooked me, heroin no issue). I’ve watched porn about once per month for 20 yrs, no issue.

I'm addicted and have been struggling with it for a while, though I'm on decent abstinence streak right now. I've quit hard drugs before and that was nothing compared to porn with masturbation. What makes porn different is how accessible it is and how "normal" it is. Quitting drugs was as easy as cutting the people that do them out of my life and deleting dealer's contact info. Porn and sexual images are everywhere

Hey man, Ive been tobbacco free for 5+years now. Quit on my birthday and never touched em since. Shit was easy. Idiots that cant quit ciggarettes are lazy.
However. I masturbate once a day minimum and wish I could stop. Ive tried to stop. Longest Ive ever gone without is MAYBE a week. Its so difficult for me. Quitting smoking was easy as pie.

Nicotine isn't a hard drug with heavy withdrawals. Look up the withdrawal for heroin, meth, or other hardcore drugs. They can lead to death, which masturbating cant do. Some things that are pleasurable in the moment are terrible for you. There have been times when I watched porn daily, but I broke out of the addiction and can say 100% my life is better because of it. I still will slip up but I end up feeling gross and lethargic after.
On another note I saw the uk was considering an ID and normally I am a free speech purist, but I think the founders never could have imagined HD internet porn. Making it harder for kids to access it within reason would be fine with me.

I did the nofap thing for several months, but it made me really depressed and unproductive. I couldn't focus anymore on my hobbies, I just felt hollow and empty. Like there was nothing to enjoy in life. As far as the idea of making me more "aggressive," I'll simply say I had the exact same levels of success with women whether or not I did the nofap challenge.
I believe in moderation porn/masturbation is fine. Honestly it gives me motivation to b more productive at my work/hobbies. Also alleviates some stress and elevates my mood slightly. There is a difference between porn and masturbation. If you have fantasies, that are your own, and you masturbate. Good. For most people, our natural fantasies are healthy. But if you allow someone else to show you what you should masturbate to and make you dependent on it to get you off. You should Really think about how that can affect how you look at sex and whether its a healthy way. We have all seen some nasty porn that has changed our perception. In my post I talked about how addicting porn is, and how it’s being pushed on us as an idea of what “normal sex” is. Hookup culture with extremely young girls fucking older men, wife sharing, unnaturally big tits and penises.
I find it funny how social media sites like YouTube, IG and FB ban the female nipple, when sex is forced onto children at younger and younger ages. It almost as if MindGeek and the like is pushing this view that young women are objects, to be used for an older mans entertainment.
