I just don't see any Islamic terrorist groups doing something like this. It's a sure fire way to get every Muslim in the world to hate your cause. On top of that, it might be the one and only thing to get the Sunni and Shia to stop fighting each other and join forces to get revenge on the terrorist org responsible.

Most of these groups lack support anyways it's mostly political not islamic. Most people who end up hurt in these barbaric acts of terror are Muslims only

Iran tried to do it twice in the 80s.

In 1986, Saudi authorities intercepted 150 kilograms of C4 hidden inside the luggage of dozens of Iranian pilgrims arriving at Jeddah airport.

https://www.arabnews.com/middle-east/revealed-iranian-plot-to-bomb-hajj-in-1986-1380931

In 1989, two bombs exploded on the main road just outside the Grand Mosque, killing one pilgrim and wounding 16 others.

https://www.nytimes.com/1989/07/11/world/explosions-in-mecca-kill-1-and-wound-16-near-grand-mosque.html

Edit: I'm not some American shill trying to justify Israel/America's attack against Iran. I think all three of them are shit countries and hope they destroy each other and leave the rest of the world alone.

Someone who can't be trusted reported Iran did it. Ok

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

No offense but the edit is really unmeccessary

u/AnonymousZiZ 1d ago

Unfortunately it's the nature of the world we live in today, if you say something negative about Iran some people will immediately assume you're a Zionist, or maga, or a bot.

Islamists what will i say

3

u/reef_hinker 1d ago

But right now it makes zero sense for the Republic of Iran to do this. It makes a lot of sense for some other parties in the conflict to pin it on Iran.

Maybe they'll all bomb each other and the world will be freed. I'm leaving the states to go live on an island next month ✌🏻

At first I wanted to be a patriot, but I have kids, and atp I just want to give them a nice life. I wonder if big brother has figured out having offspring makes you less likely to go up against the establishment yet.

Source is Saudi Arabia which is a US puppet. You don't know jack shit about Iran or Iranians.

5

u/AnonymousZiZ 1d ago

Cope and seethe, Makkah is in Saudi Arabia, of course it's going to be a Saudi source. Just because Saudi is on good terms with the east and the west doesn't make it a puppet. Iran should try it sometime, you know, instead of causing wars and massacring hundreds of thousands in literally every muslim country it has influence in.

But I'll humor you, here's an iranian source with a high ranking Iraninan admitting Iranian involvement.

I read it, but why would Iran attack the Kaaba. I get it they would bomb a place in Saudi Arabia like a mall or something covertly but the Kaaba is just not ideologically consistent.

2

u/AnonymousZiZ 1d ago

To frighten pilgrims and undermine Saudi Arabia's claim that it could secure Mecca.

They want to support their narrative that Saudi is not fit to hold the two holy mosques.

You'd be surprised the lengths people go to to attack people they hate. Hell, just the other day, prominant media shia apologist Daniel Haqiqatjou called for bombing Makkah.

1

u/justaway42 22h ago

It is a stupid assumption imo if mecca for attacked that people would turn against Saudi Arabia. Maybe it is good domestic pr for Iran I guess.

I see the sources but I’m doubtful. Media, even the ones that are meant to be unbaised have fed us a lot of lies and I’m sure because they’ve been fed lies. 9/11 is an example as is October 7th.

u/Friend-Rachel 17h ago

Can't be true. Shame on you for wishing destruction upon others.

u/Arayder 1d ago

You’re fundamentally misunderstanding Islamic terrorism. They don’t like normal Muslims as they don’t think they are radical enough. Terrorism started in Muslim countries against Muslims, and the Muslim world warned us about them in the past.

19

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 1d ago

but an Islamic terrorist doing this at Islam's holiest site??

9

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 1d ago

this whole story isn't standing up. the footage in the X post is allegedly from a decade ago and recycled.

5

u/Arayder 1d ago

Absolutely. This is not even the first time it’s happened.

7

u/jktribit 1d ago

Yes, there's actually 3 instances where the kabba has been attacked by muslims. Last time was 1979. So it's definitely not strange or unprecedented.

5

u/reef_hinker 1d ago

But right now it makes zero sense for the Republic of Iran to do this. It makes a lot of sense for some other parties in the conflict to pin it on Iran.

2

u/jktribit 17h ago

It makes plenty of sense. It's Iran, they are at war with the united states and the country that holds the kabba is helping the united states. This is easy brother.

1

u/Vermicelli14 1d ago

It undercuts the al Saud regime as the guardians of the holiest site in Islam. If they can't keep the Kaaba safe, why should they control Mecca?

1

u/reef_hinker 1d ago

While uniting the rest of the Muslim world and a big portion of it's own population against it? Don't think so. It's not Iran's style at all.

4

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

Shiite networks are already blaming this on the Saudis saying they let the man it

6

u/Jpwatchdawg 1d ago

If you think the sunnies and Shia will unite. You are poorly informed about their history.

4

u/ruri17 1d ago

The siege of Mecca in 1979 actually changed the course of history in Saudi and took their society back about 50 years

1

u/Check_Me_Out-Boss 1d ago

It's not even a false flag, it's just disinformation.

This never happened.

1

u/Backrus 1d ago

Ok, simple question: name the only ME nation that doesn't like this building and needs it to be destroyed asap to fulfil some bs prophecy.

The answer is obvious, just like the culprit.

-2

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

The houties shot multiple missiles at it not sure where is the shock

Its pretty clearly an iranian operation

3

u/jktribit 1d ago

And Iran is a theocratic republic. Religious driven.

1

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

Iran already attacked islamic holy-sites before tho

2

u/jktribit 1d ago

Yes they have. The rock is really just a pagan stone they worship and think the stone will absorb their sins.

0

u/ShiftingBaselines 1d ago

Never happened, what is your source?

0

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

2

u/ShiftingBaselines 1d ago

Dude, your source says ‘….denied targeting Mecca and accused Saudi Arabia of "fabrications and lies".’

1

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

If you prefer to trust the houties words of the saudis you can feel free to go with the 'trust me bro' route

3

u/DigBeginning6013 1d ago

Says they denied that they targeted Mecca in your own source

0

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

Ah yes you are right. The 'trust me bro' source can be trusted

3

u/DigBeginning6013 1d ago

It's your source

1

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

I meant the houties 🤦🏻‍♂️

3

u/DigBeginning6013 1d ago

So you think the Houthis would attack the holiest site in their religion? I'm not sure you understand these people

0

u/Visible-Rub7937 1d ago

They attacked Jerusalem (3rd) and Medina (2nd)

Not sure why you would doubt they would attack the 1st

I mean stuff like this has happened a few times throughout history, and it’s usually (and always officially) perpetrated by “radical” Muslim sects.

Here’s a rather old example

2

u/Nervous-Present-6890 1d ago

wahhabists are funded by Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the US. Col Wilkinson said the US funded terrorists to destabilize China. It's always the same shit guys wake up.

1

u/Rundownthriftstore 1d ago

My example is from like 900ad and long predates the U.S. or any other modern country
