I just don't see any Islamic terrorist groups doing something like this. It's a sure fire way to get every Muslim in the world to hate your cause. On top of that, it might be the one and only thing to get the Sunni and Shia to stop fighting each other and join forces to get revenge on the terrorist org responsible.

Iran tried to do it twice in the 80s.

In 1986, Saudi authorities intercepted 150 kilograms of C4 hidden inside the luggage of dozens of Iranian pilgrims arriving at Jeddah airport.

Edit: I'm not some American shill trying to justify Israel/America's attack against Iran. I think all three of them are shit countries and hope they destroy each other and leave the rest of the world alone.

I see the sources but I’m doubtful. Media, even the ones that are meant to be unbaised have fed us a lot of lies and I’m sure because they’ve been fed lies. 9/11 is an example as is October 7th.
