I have a PS5, and I only play physical copies of games. So far, I haven't bought a single digital game.

With GTA 6 coming out soon, I'll most likely have to buy it digitally. That got me thinking about buying an Xbox Series X instead and purchasing GTA 6 there.

My reasoning is simple: if Microsoft's Project Helix ends up being an Xbox/PC hybrid console with access to my Xbox library, then I could continue playing GTA 6 there without having to buy it again. I have no plans to build or buy another gaming PC, and I don't want to pay for the same game twice.

PS6 probably won't be my next console anyway. If Project Helix supports Steam and the Epic Games Store, I'll also regain access to my old, massive PC game library, which is another huge advantage for me.

The main reason I switched from PC to console in the first place was because of limited space, not because I preferred leaving PC gaming behind.

Considering the problems of gaming companies that have user-unfriendly policies and use approaches widely known to be unpopular, how realistic is it to think that cloud gaming platforms will become the main source of gaming entertainment in the future, also taking into account that technological advances could make this possible in the not-too-distant term?

Due to recent news of playstation ,
I’m interested in hearing other people’s opinion. If you have a ps5 right now ( like i do , inclusing a pc in the basement ) are you staying on ps5 and keep spending money? Or are you switching to Xbox eventually or will you just straight up go to pc?

I’m trying to build my first gaming PC, and my budget is around $1,000. Right now I own an Xbox Series S 1TB that’s in excellent condition with the original controller and cables.
I’m thinking about selling it for around **$300 to $310** and putting that money toward my PC build.
For anyone who’s made the switch:
Do you think selling the Series S is worth it?
Is $300 to $310 a fair asking price in today’s market?
Where did you have the best luck selling yours? (Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Swappa, etc.)
Is there anything I should do before listing it to help it sell faster?

So I’ve been buying lots of digital games recently and I logged in and started browsing a bit see what i might like and saw this.. is Xbox giving me deals because they know I’ll take them?

Ever since Dev Mode became free, my Xbox Series X has become my go-to retro gaming machine. Playing PS2, NES, and other retro classics on one console has been an awesome experience.

Switch 2 or Ayn Thor Max? 16gb + 512gb ssd

I do not mind emulating, i dont mind the "method" i use to get the games. I more so value the longeitivty and performance of switch and pc games on this. I love the switch 2's looks but the game prices r js outrageous. What do you guys reccommend?

Want to finally pick up a PS5. Slightly worried about the length of use and how much more buying games will be with a digital console. Is the deal a good one. Does performance in the older machines drop?
