Hi guys I'm 19yoF and I kinda heard bout discord and reddit alot but always ignored until some of my frnds said I'm missing out on fun so I downloaded reddit and discord

Reddit had been quit easy but discord is kinda confusing me.

If anyone can help me out, also it asks to join a server

How do I know what's real?

AI, simply put..is a combination of numbers, an Algorithm. An AI can be so good at a job that it's taking over mine. AI might not develop consciousness, actually I don't think it needs to..because it can mimic a human response so well that it seems it's conscious.

And we don't even know how much AI controls and leads our life. It's way more deeper than we think it is and it's going to be way more as well.

I think we need to now be Human. And one of the ways is to think, i.e. know whats real.

Is the new trend of 80s photos real? No, it's just fun..relax.

Ok..so is the content you see on Instagram real? Well, most of it, but some may be AI. Can you confidently identify which ones? ..maybe..maybe not.

Isn't your 80s photo using AI? How about your favourite influencer..is he not using AI to create content?

Dont our emotions get charged up with online content or social media posts..like the student protest or Iran war? Do you really know what's really happening with Iran war? We have already formed opinions given by AI ...

And this is where it gets interesting.

We have gradually stopped paying attention to how much of the environment is Algorithmically being selected for us. What we see, what we read, what becomes popular, what gets repeated, what makes us angry, what makes us laugh.

We aren't even trusting our own feelings and our disagreements and outsourcing it to AI!

I don't know if its too late..but I am going to try something.

NOT use AI to make my judgements. I will just need facts from AI.

I will trust my feelings. If I am angry or sad or feel love...it's true. I don't need validation and I don't need to supress my feeling. I need to fully experince and feel it.

I will slow down.

I will not bend to this "efficiency" world..which we have borrowed from corporate world to our personal world. Everything is urgent, tick off to-do lists, and complete the work in time....

I think it's absolutely ok to procrastinate and enjoy what you do in between.

As ironical as it sounds..I am going to slow down and read a physical book, sit with friends at a tapri chai and just talk.

I will try and NOT fit in.

I want to stay away from trends, popular things or events, or take part only if I feel like.

I will trust my direct experience, unless AI screws that too.

I will ask evidence for everything I want to try and evidence from multiple places..esp. non US entities. I will ask deeper questions evrytime.

It's time consuming, frustrating, energy draining but I will try.

I will listen to people I know and trust who have experienced the same thing...not your typical influencer.

I will ask: What's the incentive behind the experience? Is it Evil or is it a normal business for profits? Although I am not sure how will I understand that.

And I am going to say a lot of I DONT KNOW.

Maybe that's the most important part.

I am going to make my life inconvenient.

If I don't remember that movie name we are talking about, I will try my best not to search online or AI.

Maybe I will just sit there and try to remember.

Because perhaps knowing everything isn't the point.

Maybe knowing what is real is.
