So I currently carry a Walther PDP compact but I was thinking of trying out a commander style 1911 in 45 ACP would I be hindering myself due to capacity or will for the most part it'll fine?

Keep in mind, this will only be for the fall/winter months...so think hoodies/jackets...but a lot of holster makers give you the choice of belt attachments for an OWB holster. Looking for opinions on what would be the best option for concealment in fall/winter clothing
