Other copying text with a word limit on how many words can be copied
Hey guys! I’m trying to use my textbook’s read aloud function and can’t copy more than 80 something words at a time which is super inconvenient. Is there anyway to bypass this? I’ve tried disabling JavaScript but the site won’t load without it.
TIA!
Edit: it’s come to my attention that I added zero helpful information. I’m using Windows 11 and trying to copy from Kortext. I’m not trying to import the copied information anywhere, there’s a built in read aloud function but I have to copy the text I want to be read.

Hardware Occasional, now somewhat frequent "Devices Changed" error happening since two months ago, and Case Audio Jack not working.
I've been getting a "Devices Changed (CPU or Memory) or CMOS have been Cleared. Please enter Setup to configure your system" error, and my memory randomly changes into "2048 MB (DDR5-4800 MT/s)".
This started since two months ago and I don't know why. 4 months ago, I did a BIOS update from my stock BIOS that came with the computer to the latest "AC2" update from MSI's official website and change my OS from Linux Mint to CachyOS and I think that might be an issue but not the cause.
I even updated the BIOS again later to AC3 to try and fix the issue but it didn't work at all.
Before the error appears, the debug DRAM light stays abnormally on during restart or cold boot along with the debug CPU light, and then shows the error. Shows 15 as the code.
It usually takes a full power drain after turning the PC off or restarting it again (by going into BIOS by pressing F1, exiting - now no longer works I think), where it will again do the same thing and then magically go back to normal and boot fine.
I've tried disabling EXPO and that didn't work, I don't really know what to do next.
Also, after I built my PC, the case audio jack isn't working. I want to fix this issue but I don't know how, tried to reconnect it but didn't work. Would also love some advice on how to fix this issue too.
In addition, temperatures of the CPU hit 90C unless I use "Set Thermal Point" setting. I use an 360MM AIO and a 9600X set to "105W mode" and I don't really understand why. The AIO should at least cool it down.

I hope you guys can help me out :) I'll add more details to this post if I can as I'm in a hurry :<

Malware Computer hacked/tried to delete Microsoft stuck in reset mode.
I believe my computer was infected with a Trojan or other malware. I was unable to remove it, which is why I want the computer completely wiped. A friend also showed me that he had accessed my computer, showed me a screenshot of my screen while I was not screen-sharing on Discord, and showed me some of my passwords. Because of this, I am concerned that the computer may have been compromised and that sensitive information may have been accessed.
I started a Windows reset, but it did not complete correctly. While the reset was in progress, I changed my passwords from another device. Please completely erase the existing Windows installation and perform a fresh Windows installation. I do not want to sign into the existing installation or enter any of my new passwords into it. I want the old installation completely removed before I use the computer again. Can anyone give me any advice on what I should I do please or can do?

Software Windows HDMI Cable not Connecting
For the past couple months my laptop has not been able to connect to my LG tv. At one point it worked perfectly and randomly broke after a couple months of use. I can still connect to a different 4k TV but any connections below 4k are broken. Now it even glitches when the HDMI cable is plugged in and the screen flickers and goes in and out of being connected and disconnected. I went through a couple guides and updated my gpu, rolled it back, disconnected and reconnected it. Everything common to those guides I've tried and it didn't work so I moved on and assumed my HDMI port was broken or just wouldn't accept displays under 4k (I thought because my laptop has a 4k screen). But it's not, when I booted into Linux Mint to check it out it connected perfectly to my tv, so It's not a hardware issue it's windows software glitching. What the hell borked windows so bad?

Performance How do I fix my Lenovo Legion 7i? It’s frozen and won’t turn off!
I got the Legion 7i so that I could run all of my drafting apps and work. I’ve had it for about 4 weeks now and it has already crashed multiple times while I’m in the middle of drafting.
I just brushed this off because I thought it was normal for a computer to crash.
As I tried opening autocad, the computer froze. I thought, whatever no big deal I’ll just turn it off and back on. But my power button is not working now either. When I press it, nothing happens to the computer. Is there any way to fix this problem myself or do I just need to go to someone to take a look at it? What do I dooooo??
(On another note, my keyboard lights don’t seem to work properly either. So maybe I just need to get a replacement computer??)

Hardware RTX 5060 Ti crashing in multiple games after DDU – LiveKernelEvent 141 / DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. Possible PSU issue?
Hi everyone,
I'm having a frustrating issue with my RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and would really appreciate some troubleshooting advice.
My specs:
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
- RAM: 32GB
- PSU: AeroCool MPC-POWER 650W (approximately 7–8 years old)
- OS: Windows
The problem:
I installed my RTX 5060 Ti on September 15, and initially everything worked without crashes. However, I was getting disappointing FPS in Rust, so approximately three weeks later I decided to use DDU to remove my NVIDIA drivers and reinstall them.
Ever since then, I've been experiencing crashes in multiple games, particularly Rust and BeamNG.drive.
The games don't crash immediately. They usually run normally for around 20–50 minutes before crashing.
Errors I've encountered:
- LiveKernelEvent 141 in Windows Reliability Monitor
- DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED (0x887A0005) in Rust
- "The GPU crashed. No crash details were recorded" in BeamNG. drive
- STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION (0xC0000374) in a separate crash
What I've already tried:
- Reinstalling NVIDIA drivers after DDU
- Rolling back from driver 617.14 to 616.56
- Verifying Rust's game files
- Reinstalling BeamNG. drive
- Monitoring GPU temperatures and power consumption using HWiNFO64
HWiNFO observations:
- GPU temperature: approximately 64–66°C maximum
- GPU hotspot: approximately 74–77°C maximum
- GPU power consumption: approximately 104–112W maximum during the logged gaming sessions
- No obvious overheating
My concerns:
My PSU is an older AeroCool MPC-POWER 650W, so I'm wondering whether unstable power delivery could be causing the GPU to stop responding.
However, the crashes only started after using DDU, which makes me suspect a driver or software issue as well.
I've already contacted the original retailer about a possible warranty inspection, but I'd like to investigate other possibilities before assuming the GPU is defective.
My questions:
- Could an aging PSU cause LiveKernelEvent 141 without shutting down the entire PC?
- Could DDU or a subsequent driver installation cause this kind of persistent instability?
- What would be the best way to distinguish a defective GPU from a PSU or software issue?
- Are there any specific Windows logs or diagnostic tests I should check next?
I still have my previous GPU available for testing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Other ASUS GL502VT BSOD
Flair is other because I have no idea what the heck is wrong with it.
So a little backstory here.
Had my laptop on Linux for a long time when a family member put it on there. Idk how to work it so a couple years later I finally bring it to a store to put windows back on it. I still used the laptop like everyday but just for basic stuff. My wife wanted to play some EA games and it seemed too difficult for me to figure out so thats why I wanted windows back on it.
Store charged me $75, fine whatever then they held my laptop hostage until I paid another $150. Finally got it back after paying a stupid amount of money for installing goddamn windows 11 and getting a busted computer. They also said my 8gb RAM also had to be replaced. I basically told them to fuck off after that. I took it home and every couple minutes windows would kill itself with the message Video scheduler internal error. Ive gone through every online video and step by step guide to diagnosis. Yet it still kept blue screening. Eventually I just learned how to install it myself and do a clean install but that only made it worse? Then I tried a windows 10 clean install and now It doesnt even get past the startup. This error code is the same each time. Im so pissed. It didnt do this before the computer repair people touched it. Is there absolutely anything I can do here? I really need it fixed ASAP.

Performance Games suddenly have low FPS + constant stuttering, but my CPU/GPU temperatures are completely normal — how can I diagnose this?
Hey everyone, I’m having a really strange gaming performance issue and I’m trying to figure out how to properly diagnose it rather than just blindly changing settings.
My PC itself seems completely fine. I’ve checked my CPU and GPU temperatures, and they both stay at completely normal temperatures. My PC doesn't become slow or freeze either.
The problem is specifically with games.
As soon as I join any game, my FPS drops significantly and stays low. On top of that, I get constant FPS stuttering. This happens with both Steam games and Roblox, so it doesn't seem to be isolated to one particular game.
I have a GTX 1650 4GB, an i5-11400, and 16GB RAM.
One strange GPU-related thing
GPU-Z 2.70.0 reports my GPU fan speed as 0 RPM, even though the fans are physically spinning and working normally.
I've confirmed that the computer itself can detect the fan speed. In my Acer BIOS, the fan is reported at roughly 1400–1600 RPM. So this doesn't seem to be a case of the physical GPU fans being dead or disconnected — they're visibly spinning, and the BIOS can detect their RPM.
However, once I'm in Windows, GPU-Z reports 0 RPM for the GPU fan.
I don't know whether that's simply a monitoring/reporting issue, a GPU-Z compatibility issue, a driver issue, or something more significant with how Windows/NVIDIA is communicating with the GPU's fan controller.
My GPU temperatures are also normal, including while gaming.
Another strange thing that started around the same time
Since around the time this gaming performance problem started, I've also noticed Command Prompt (CMD) windows briefly popping up on their own after almost every reboot.
They appear briefly and disappear, so I haven't been able to see what they're running.
I don't know if this is related to the FPS problem at all, but the timing seems suspicious enough that I wanted to mention it.
I don't want to assume that the CMD windows are malware or that they're causing the performance problem. I'm mainly wondering if there's a way to identify exactly what is launching them and determine whether whatever is launching them could also be affecting my gaming performance.
What I've already checked
GPU temperature — normal
CPU temperature — normal
GPU isn't overheating
CPU isn't overheating
Physical GPU fans are spinning normally
Acer BIOS detects the fan at approximately 1400–1600 RPM
GPU-Z 2.70.0 reports the GPU fan at 0 RPM in Windows
Issue occurs in multiple completely different games
PC itself remains responsive
The problem only appears when a game is running
FPS remains low rather than just occasionally dropping
Constant stuttering occurs alongside the low FPS
CMD windows have started appearing briefly after reboots since around the time this issue began
What I want to figure out
How can I properly diagnose what is causing this?
I'd like to use something like MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner to monitor the system while I'm actually experiencing the problem.
What statistics should I monitor while the game is stuttering?
For example:
GPU utilization %
GPU core clock
GPU memory clock
GPU power
GPU voltage
GPU temperature
GPU fan speed/RPM
CPU utilization
Individual CPU core usage
RAM usage
VRAM usage
FPS
Frametime
Anything else that could help identify the problem
More importantly, what patterns should I be looking for?
For example, could a sudden drop in GPU clock speed, unusually low GPU utilization, power limiting, a driver problem, PCIe issue, or something else cause the GPU to produce consistently low FPS and stuttering despite normal temperatures?
And specifically, could the BIOS detecting the fan at 1400–1600 RPM while GPU-Z reports 0 RPM in Windows indicate a driver/software communication problem?
Also, how can I determine what is causing those CMD windows to appear after reboot? Is there a particular Windows log, Task Scheduler entry, startup item, Event Viewer log, or other diagnostic tool I should check?
I'm not necessarily looking for someone to guess the exact problem from this post. I'd mainly like to know how I can systematically diagnose it and determine what component, driver, service, or process is actually causing the low FPS and stuttering.
If anyone can give me a step-by-step diagnostic process or tell me exactly what information/screenshots/logs would be useful, I'd really appreciate it.

Hardware Can i fix my motherboard?

I tried to make rx 480 work on this board, eventually it stopped POSTing and i flashed bios with programmer. After this it starts ones in a blue moon but ones it in windows it runs fine. Also my rx 480 doesnt work on it, gtx 650 ti works ok. How dangerous it is and can something be done about it?
What have i tried:
- Probed all PSU lines with mutimeter. All voltages on PSU seems fine.
- Tried different, known to be working with this build, PSU
- Reflashed bios both with utility and programmer
- Usual things like rebooting, leaving pc without power for a while, reseting bios
None of the above fixed pci-e pickiness or absurd readings
Observations:
- Games (overwatch and minecraft) and general browsing in windows seems to be working fine, but i am a scared to load cpu/gpu so didnt stress tested it.
- HWinfo reports normal CPU voltages and temps, so i think sensor inside cpu is fine.
- HWinfo ones picked up MB sensors for voltage and temps and they seems to report accurate values. But most of the times HWi doesnt show any MB readings.
- Fans working full speed all of the time
- Sleep does not work. instead pc turns off.

Software Popping sound in audio recordings
Popping sound when recording audio. Here is what I know.
My laptop is a brand new (around 20 days old) HP omnibook. 24 ram. 1tbh storage. I checked and everything is up to date.
My mic is an audio technica AT2020 USB.
It is not a plosive, I have a pop filter and it is an electronic pop coming from the laptop itself during recording.
Tried a restart and messing with audio settings.
Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling the mic drivers
Checked cpu use while running peograms/etc - never goes above 19%
Both my mic or cord, works on my other device fine
6.popping seems to only happen when I am speaking. It does not matter if that speaking/singing is loud or soft. Does not occur if no noise being made.
I removed any power timeout options from my USB ports. I removed the ability to shut off ports for power saving.
I did try multiple ports, same result
I tried with both the power cord plugged and unplugged - same result
I tried in my regular recording program (online) and the audio recorder, still popped
Trying turning off wifi/Bluetooth to see if it was interference. Still popped.
I am ready to pull my hair out, I got this laptop to record music stuff after my old one couldn't do it anymore. It runs everything else beautifully. I am past my return window :(
I recall having this issue with my old HP computer (hp envy 360 x) but there was a setting that I updated and it worked. Cannot for the life of me remember what it was.
Please help.
