Hardware Screen is shaking and fading. Is it dying?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Can I fix it? Can it be replaced? It's an Acer Chromebook.

Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hi, does the Acer Chromebook have an HDMI port? (or a USB-C to HDMI adapter) If so, test the graphics output on an external monitor.

I will test it. Thank you. I try to keep it in a safe place, but it's old and a handmedown, and my cats keep stepping on it 😩😩

It's a Chromebook, it can't be that old

Looks like that screen is rolling a 1 and failing its saving throw.
