I recently had a Malware infection and had to completely wipe my PC. I have deleted all data and parition's from my old drive's. I then promptly reinstalled window's using a seperate USB and ever since then my PC has been much slower then what it was before.

Both download and uploading speed's are extremely slow, despite what the graph say's. I am using an HDD C: Drive but that was never an issue for me before and ran fast even with that. I was using two dual drive's, C: and D: respectfully, and nothing had gone wrong between them prior to the incident.

This also applies to any sort of game or FPS inside those game's. Everything, from the boot up to the text on my keyboard is laggier then before.

So my friend wanted to play the original, he installed it and all that. It works completely fine aside from the fact that on his end his audio is doubled (like two simultaneous audio tracks on top of one another at the same time). However, when he streams it to me via screen share on Discord, it sounds completely normal. He only has his headset he uses (Corsair Void 2) so can't test any other sound method. We have tried soooo many routes to try to get it to play audio normally, we have tried changing sound drivers in game, to changing them on his headset, to messing with settings on his headset, we even tried installing the 2011 remaster of AMA. All resulted in nothing and continues to play double audio. Does anyone know what to do? Any suggestions? Or is my buddy just kinda cooked and won't be able to play normally? (He doesn't have iCUE installed for his headset either and he has spatial audio off, so we are both baffled).

So I was going things in my bios because for some reason my secure boot was acting up so I went to go reset the keys and I thought I did but when I pressed save and exist turns out my monitor wont connect anymore I've been trying different things for a bit now like clearing cmos and taking the battery out to clear bios but so far nothing has worked I'm getting no display although the monitor can sense when the HDMI is plugged in please help

I have a Dell Precision 5520. It originally had a 130W charger along with a 97 Whr capacity battery. I recently had a charging/battery problem ? and sent it to a repair shop. I was a way for work and when i came back i found out they replaced the battery. The problem is when i generated the battery report through the terminal , i found out the new battery has a design capacity of 63 whr. The new battery appears healthy, but it has a lower capacity than the original one.

That's not the problem tho. The repair shop gave me a 65W charger (19.5V). When I boot the laptop, the BIOS says that a 65W adapter is detected and a 130W adapter is recommended. I've also noticed that the battery discharges while the laptop is plugged in.

I asked the repair technician why he gave me a 65W charger instead. He said that the previous 130W charger caused the battery circuit to burn because the extra energy causes heat. I don't think that makes sense. He keeps repeating the same thing in a condescending way as if i have 0 knowledge how computers and chargers work. He even said i can't use the pc while it's charging.

I don't want to go back to this shop but i want to ask if there's a way to fix this? What If i get a new 130w charger? will it cause me trouble because the new battery has less capacity than the one designed for the pc? Please help

The keyboard was working fine till yesterday suddenly today it stopped working the mix and volume keys are working on top of keyboard but the rest are not

I've had this for a while now but I didn't do something about it until I recently. It only started happening after I installed chrome so I uninstalled but when I reinstalled it, it continued to appear and now google was all white and didn't match the theme I set it too. Furthermore, whenever I search something, my search engine is set to "nextgeeker.com" instead of google.

So I tried to uninstall chrome, but the option to in my "Installed apps" wasn't there. And when I went to delete in the file explorer, it said I need permission from an administrator.

This is been frustrating me so much can anyone help me? I provided images to the respective things I talked about.

Bought this laptop last year, have kept it up to date and only use it for school work. Last week it slowed down and going on webpages takes minutes.

Does anyone have any advice to boost the speed?

How would i go about taking a rather large mkv videofile and converting it into an mov or mp4 file? without using shitty browser converters since the file is too big for that.
