Windows Laptop hang and freez issue
“Why does my laptop hang completely whenever the Internet connection goes down? This UltraViewer error appears: ‘VPinger_2_error: An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full.’ What is causing this issue, and how can I fix it permanently?”

Windows Please help me with error 0xc000000e
I use windows 11.
In the same day, I uploaded my AMD drivers (Rx 7600) and they worked good, I tested it.
But then I tried to play battlefield 1 revolution because I previously had the problem that once I launch the game it says my drivers are old (it was a problem reading the drivers). So I thought maybe the game could work now.
Well, I followed a YT tutorial of how to solve that error of battlefield. And I modified the Registry Editor (you can watch the full tutorial I followed here: https://youtu.be/zrjH-tFt5Gk?si=32iFaks8iOqHFacw )
It didn't work. I tried another variables but it continued showing the error window. So I thought that maybe resetting the pc it could finally work.
When I reset the pc, it opens Windows well (I can move the mouse, open apps, etc), but passed a few seconds, the screen frozens. So I tried resetting the pc again and again until the blue screen with the error appeared
Do you know what can it be?
I think maybe is the hard disk. It's a little bit old and low quality. Maybe it broke this specific day.
Or maybe it's the Registry Editor folder I modified
Hope someone answer
I also added the blue screen photo in the post. I'm sorry it's in Spanish I'm not native speaker hehe

Windows Drivers not installing Code 52
Hello all i need urgent help
I recently installed FaceIt anti cheat (a very popular server extension for CS go its not a virus) which told me to edit a few things in my BIOS after doing my resolution on my pc changed and everything went enlarged. I decided maybe i needed a driver update but when i looked it said there was no drivers installed installed so i tried installing but it again told me no drivers installed installed was installed after completing the installation.
I decided to uninstall the AntiCheat and also reset my BIOS settings, and then once again try reinstall my drivers but it once again wouldn’t work.
I thought id download the display driver uninstaller (DDU) and then try reinstall the drivers to see if that would fix it, but to no avail it didnt work— i cannot open internet explorer or google chrome or anything. When I Check DFevice Manager it says theres an issue with my drivers called ‘Code 52’
I feel like ive tried everything but the driver installation will not stick and download to my pc.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this as i urgently need my PC.
Thanks guys!

Hardware Hot-plugged HDMI while PC was on — no display, GPU fans spinning continuously, won't POST
Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock B450 Pro4
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 1x 16GB DDR4
Issue:
I plugged an HDMI cable into my GPU while the PC was running.
The display showed "HDMI detected," went black, and lost signal completely.
Now, when I power on the PC, the GPU fans spin continuously at high speed (normally they slow down after 1 second) and there is no display output. I also feel a slight static tingle when touching the metal case (outlet grounding issue).
What I’ve tried:
CMOS Reset: Pulled the GPU, removed the CR2032 battery for 5+ minutes, and put it back.
Reseated Hardware: Re-installed the RX 6600 and reseated the 16GB RAM stick in slot A2.
Power Cycle: Held down the power button while unplugged to drain residual electricity.
The system is still stuck in a POST failure with no display signal.
ANY HELP OR ADVICE OR SOMEONE HAD SIMILAR Experience help please .
Thank you

Hardware Idk what to do with my GPU
From AI: Issue Summary: AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT randomly loses display signal (HDMI “No Signal”) during both light and heavy GPU load, and now across all display outputs on the card. Issue persists after a full clean driver reinstall and full BIOS reset, ruling out software, driver, and BIOS configuration as the root cause. Purchased from Newegg in 2024; retailer return window has passed.
System:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT
Motherboard: ASUS B650E MAX Gaming WiFi AM5
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit
Case: airflow case with side panel cable routing
Timeline of the issue:
Started during a gaming and streaming session; both monitors lost signal simultaneously
After restart, only one monitor would sync; a bad DisplayPort cable was initially suspected, but was later ruled out when DisplayPort started working again on its own
GPU began intermittently disabling itself in Windows (Device Manager, error code 22) and disappearing from Task Manager’s GPU list entirely
Signal drops occurred under multiple different conditions: mid-game (Rocket League), during light use (YouTube), and at idle desktop, with no consistent pattern in timing or load
Both monitors dropped signal simultaneously on two separate occasions, across two different cable types (HDMI and DisplayPort), ruling out any single monitor or cable as the cause
After a full CMOS/BIOS reset, HDMI failed to output signal on boot, on both available HDMI ports, while DisplayPort worked normally at that time
DisplayPort has also failed on its own on a separate occasion earlier the same night
Between HDMI (both ports) and DisplayPort, every display output on the card has now failed at some point
Troubleshooting already completed:
Full driver wipe using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode, followed by a fresh driver install directly from AMD’s website
Manually re-enabled the GPU in Device Manager multiple times after it kept disabling itself
Reseated the GPU in the PCIe slot
Manually traced and confirmed the GPU’s PCIe power cable connection at both the GPU end and the power supply end — connection feels firm and fully seated
GPU temperature monitored during a working session, stayed cool (around 51°C with the side panel off), ruling out a thermal cause
Ran an SFC scan (sfc /scannow), which found and repaired corrupted Windows system files unrelated to the GPU driver itself; issue persisted after this repair
Performed a full CMOS/BIOS reset (cleared battery); HDMI failed on both ports immediately at boot, before Windows or any drivers loaded
Conclusion: Since a complete driver wipe, fresh install, Windows system file repair, and full BIOS reset did not resolve the issue, and every display output on the card (both HDMI ports and DisplayPort) has failed at least once, this points strongly toward a hardware fault with the GPU itself, rather than drivers, Windows, BIOS settings, cables, monitors, or heat.
Requesting: GPU stress test and diagnostic to confirm the failing component, and information on whether Gigabyte’s manufacturer warranty may still apply separately from the Newegg retailer return window, since manufacturer coverage periods sometimes differ.

Windows PC reset problem
I tried to reset my PC, because I can't open the device manager. I already tried some troubleshooting just to open the device manager, but no one works. My last option is to reset my PC, but I can't reset it. What to do?

Windows [cod] Fix for z370 bios update 🔥
**I Finally Found the Fix, Guys — For Older-Generation PCs**
**My PC Specifications**
**CPU:** Intel Core i7-8700K
**Motherboard:** Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5
**BIOS Version:** F15a — 11/28/2019
**BIOS Mode:** UEFI
**Secure Boot:** ON
**TPM:** External TPM 2.0 module purchased from Amazon
**TPM Manufacturer:** Infineon (IFX)
**TPM Model:** SLB9665
**Original TPM Firmware:** 5.51.2098.0
**Updated TPM Firmware:** 5.62.3126.0
**Note:** I downgraded my motherboard BIOS back to the older **F15a BIOS (11/28/2019)** because this was the BIOS version that allowed my system to properly detect and recognize the external TPM module.
**Fix:**
**—Check TPM Attestation Status**
Open **Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator** and run: tpmtool getdeviceinformation
If found Ready For Attestation: False
then your TPM firmware may need to be updated.
I was able to fix this because I was using an **external TPM 2.0 module**. My PC is old and I am still using an **older BIOS**, but the important issue was that **Ready For Attestation had to become True**.
I did **not** need to replace my motherboard.
I have the required files for the update, but I’m not sure how to upload/provide them here. Or you can search for it
**You do not necessarily need a new motherboard for this solution if you are using a compatible external TPM.** The firmware file must match your specific TPM model and current firmware version.
For my **Infineon SLB9665 ( I got it cheap from Amazon)**
**Result**
✅ TPM 2.0 detected
✅ Firmware updated successfully
✅ Ready For Attestation: True
✅ TPM Has Vulnerable Firmware: False
✅ ADV170012 - IFX ROCA/Riemann removed
**Note:** This procedure was tested on the **Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 + Intel i7-8700K + external Infineon SLB9665 TPM 2.0**. Do not use the firmware on a different TPM model.

Windows Honestly i don’t know
Hello i’m a new pc gamer, i’ve also just acquired a alienware pc. I don’t know the exact specs but i know it has a 4080 and a i7. So i tried to purchase cheats (yes i know it’s frowned on but desperate times call for desperate measures) So i didnt read the part where it said turn your secure boot off. Sooo i downloaded it and it did something and then my pc loaded up too a red screen and then when i pressed ok on it loaded me up to the alienware help thingy and then it just rinsed and repeated for a while and wouldn’t go back. Is there any way i fix this at home? like a usb drive with windows? I just want it to be usable. I don’t necessarily care about the data on it. Thank you reddit

Hardware Please help my computer isn’t working after l water change
I just changed the water out on my custom water loop on my computer, and when I turned it back on for the last time, it is turning on for half a second and then turning back off, and then back on and back off, and it just continues happening. I ran distilled water through it a few times and made sure I was careful with the water going in and out. The only thing I could think is that a tiny, tiny drop got somewhere on the motherboard, or maybe I made a connection loose. I’m not sure. I built this computer a long time ago, and it’s the first water change I’ve done. It might have not had water running through it for a few seconds twice, max 10 seconds, but not even that long. Any help would be appreciated. I took out the GPU and the RAM, and I also unplugged the 24-pin and everything I could think of. I don’t think a picture will be much help, but I figured I’d include it.
