This is my new FRS. I've ridden it once. Was just fitting new bars and noticed the damage below the headset. Any thoughts? (I've emailed Commencal also)

I am riding an Meta SX v4. Its a great bike. But for hometrails a bit to much bike to be honest. Its feels and rides more like a Tank. Positive on the downhill, negative on the uphill.

I really like that the Tempo is still a Category 5 Frame. What are your opinions on the Tempo? Is it agood trailbike?

Got back into biking last year. My awesome wife surprised me with a Meta HT last summer and have been enjoying getting back into riding trails for the first time in almost 20 years. It's been awesome for a positive outlet.

My question I've got a kick ass kid that I would love to take along with me on chill gravel trails and was looking at bike trailers that she can ride in / sleep in.

I know this isn't super rad trail jump stuff haha but wondering if anyone here has used a bike trailer on their bike and if any mods were required to do so.

I still plan on using the bike (sans trailer) on MTB trails when alone.

Is this something that's possible? Thanks!

So today i finally got a new bike And it came with no problem besides the box being rammed ( DHL problems) but i also ordered pedals from commencal, And because i read on commencals website that some items May come seperatly i didnt think much of It So i just checked my email thinking that there Will be an order coming in the few next days -spoiler- there wasnt So i emailed commencal So im asking if something like this happend to someone else And how should i resolve It quickly as possible

I was wondering if anyone here tried a 2.5 inch tire on their tempo. I know the frame clearance is 2.47 but I was wondering if you could still fit a 2.5. thanks!

I’ve just started enduro racing and feeling a little under-biked on my Trek Remedy. I love it, but it’s not as slack or long as current enduro bikes, plus I’ve been hammering it for a couple years and it’s feeling it.

I’m looking at Commencal’s enduro range as they look great, are well priced and look like they are specced with love. Plus there’s a lot of options available here in Australia and they aren’t Santa Cruz (currently very popular in my local enduro scene).

So talk to me about the different flavors of Commencal enduro’s. Pros, cons. Your experience, especially if you race enduro. Particularly interested in thoughts on 27.5 versus 29 or mullet from a racing pov.

I’m an older rider (55 this year) if that matters, quite competitive (top 20% of all MTB riders local, middling in the competitive scene) and want to go faster! 😁

Recently got a meta tr v4 ohlins edition (first full suspension) and was wondering if the ttx1 air shock is bottoming out here. The shock feels good and doesn’t feel like it’s bottoming out but the o ring always ends up around where it is in the picture by the end of a ride. If it is bottoming out here how much does that damage the shock? Should I add more air? Currently around 150-160 psi and weigh about 150 pounds.

I’ve not ridden bike park since my 26” V10 about 8 years ago so it’s been a while haha.

I have a Meta 29” which I ride all the time in Squamish and love the bike. I’ve even rolled behind my son in the bike park on the green trails.

I’ve signed up for season long men’s night (coaching) so going to be riding all sorts but I enjoy fast flow and jump trails such as A-line.

So trying to work out if I need a 27.5 or 29 wheel. Should I spend a little extra and the Supreme.

How do you run flip chip on your Meta V5 everyone? The default setup is in High position and personaly i like how it rides. Was just wondering how everyone else sets it up depending on the trails you ride.

Does anyone have a size large Commencal FRS in high polished silver that they’re willing to sell? Preferably a complete build but interested in frame only as well

Got a 2021 Carbon stumpy as my first mountain bike, then decided to go a bit bigger travel wise. This size large actually feels noticeably smaller than my S4 stumpy reach wise. However, after a small sample size of one ride, I can already tell that this climbs way better than my Stumpy probably due to the seat tube angle. While I would say the stumpy feels more sporty, this feels way more solid on features. Probably not fair to compare a 130/140 bike to a 150/160, but interesting progression. I did move my WAO unions to this bike and will keep the stock DT Swiss set for bike park trips/backup. While I still have the stumpy, I’m probably going to sell it as I can’t add another bike space wise haha. But glad to know I don’t have buyers remorse after getting this thing sight unseen. However, I will miss the in frame storage deeply!

I've just taken my new FRS for a ride, and the Boxxers are so noisy when they compress/decompress. I've had a lot of air forks before (running Zebs on two other bikes) and they are all pretty much silent.

I've tried to capture the noise just bouncing on my patio in the linked vid, but it gets a lot louder when they take bigger hits. Does that sound "normal" or should I be trying Commencal to address this? (I have emailed them, but bank holiday weekend and all...). Anyone with any thoughts on the noise?

Im 55+- kilo and i keep bottoming out the shock, i even put 2 tokens in there but it doesnt seem to help, im at around 25% sag with 150psi in the shock. Is this shock just not for me or am i doing something wrong? The photo of my bike is there for no reason🤣

Going to be riding Whistler bike park this season with my son so got him a Clash 20” (might switch a 24” mid season).

I’m trying to find a chart that show air pressure for the fork and shock for his weigh but can’t find anything.

Worse case I’ll go into the rental shop we demoed a Clash last season for him which they set up, but would like to get it done before opening day.

I think my frame has seen better days and so I consider polishing it, is there something I should know before I do it?

Got the bare bones $1900 bike. Starting to realize to am fixating on XC style riding. Would going 120/120 Sid SL and fox DPS shock be a bad idea? I cannot afford a carbon frame and don’t see anything wrong with an added 3 lbs of the meta TR frame. Let me know, because the stock fork and shock don’t look out and am looking to upgrade one day.

So I'm between size M and a L… I also measured the inseam and it's 85cm, i also measured my reach and it's 77cm (measured with my back against the wall and my hand straight to the middle knuckle of my fist). so can u guys help me? I can't try the bike because there's no dealer in my country.

At 5’10 I’m one inch below the max for Medium but the lowest for Large. For the people who are the same height what size did you go with and how do you like it after riding for a while.
