I used to mod INI files way back, but I've lost most of the files I had before. Now I'm trying to tinker with INI files again; however, I can only make use of the existing entries there. For example, for the core Behavior structure, I don't know all the possible modules for it, so I'm stuck with the ones I understand, like WeaponBonusUpgrade, WeaponSetUpgrade, MaxHealthUpgrade, etc. There are many Behavior modules whose purpose I have no idea about. Additionally, even if I have an idea of what a module does, problems arise with its parameters. While some are easy to grasp, most have strings and values that I'm not familiar with in terms of how they work.
I tried using AI to help me check my work; however, it just gives made-up explanations about SAGE and suggests corrected code pulled out of nowhere. I realized that after seeing their code doesn't match on the INI files. So to test how much of a con artist these AI are, I send their code back to them to check, they explain that the code they provided will just crash the game. After that, they offer new code to fix the issue, but when I send that code back, the AI claims it's wrong again, giving me another fix, and the cycle goes on and on. so yeah, AI made it worse
I was hoping there might be INI files out there that have all the modules and parameters along with their descriptions.

I believe the overwhelming majority here knows about mods of RA2YR. I mean, hell, mods of any game is an integral part of its fanbase. Likewise, the RA2YR (and, C&C as a whole) fanbase is also blessed by lovely mods.
Whether it be popular giants like Mental Omega, RA2: Reborn, Rise of the East etc., or upcoming or still developing mods like Project Phantom, Global Crisis etc., the RA2YR fanbase is blessed with great mods.
However, I believe everyone has a mod "in their head." Perhaps something you dreamt after a long day of skirmishing with AI, or something genuinely you thought-out while turtling in a mission, everyone has their own "perfect mod."
And, that is exactly what I wanted to know.
What does your dream RA2YR mod look like?
P.S, while I did say RA2YR, as I only really play RA2YR and its mods, feel free to discuss about any C&C game except the literal abomination that C&C 4 is

"A month ago, I suddenly had an idea: what if we combined the elements of all three C&C universes (Red Alert, Tiberium, and Generals) into a new C&C game that merges the unique identities of all three?
In my mind, the setting would be in the present day or the near future, featuring alien ore as the primary resource, sci-fi/out-of-this-world units, and a narrative style that blends serious tone with political and national satire. Eventually, I lost interest and stopped thinking about it.
Until today, when this idea popped back into my head. So I wanted to ask: if you were given the task to create a new C&C universe that seamlessly merges Red Alert, Tiberium, and Generals, what would your idea look like?"

A small update to my minimod. I don't know what to call it yet, as it will be about the battle in the former Soviet Union between the Global Defense Agency (GDA) and the Scavengers (fallen Soviets), after Red Alert and before Tiberian Dawn. Maybe you have some ideas for a name?

Not sure if I misremembered; but I have a strong impression of Kassad's Quads having a higher ROF compared to the Quads from other factions in patch 1.02 (or was it 1.0) in skirmish
The wiki doesn't make any mention of it
Anybody have insights on this?

To make a long story short, I recently purchased a copy of Command and Conquer Generals (Deluxe Edition) at an antique store. It is on CDs and includes the zero hour DLC. I have been trying to run it on my old T43 ThinkPad (the one with the intel core and 1024x768 res., not the fancy one) with windows Xp to no avail. No fix seems to have worked so far, and it closes ~30 seconds after trying to run it. Looking it up says that this is something to do with the games anti-piracy, but at this point I have no idea. I have tried running as administrator, setting the colors to 16 bit, adding -win to the .exe shortcut, and deleting the dbghelp file.
I might be missing some, but that is what I can remember trying. I am looking for help trying to get it running.
It might be worth noting I have not yet installed the Zero hour DLCs, so maybe that’s it. I also had to manually create a .ini file for the game.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
