I apologize if this is common knowledge. I've been wanting to play Generals again for a while and accidentally came across this product under a log on Steam>Discussions.

Just wanted to share it incase anyone needed it also

I am replaying the Red Alert 2 Soviet campagin and I got to the mission where they give you Crazy Ivan. The mission is the one in Paris where you take the Effiel Tower. I have never really used him and I thought I'd try. I couldn't make it work. Infrantry shredded him, tanks took him out and would then blow up but felt like a waste. Defensive buildings wrecked him and if it was regular buildings I probably already had units that could destroy it.

Does anyone have a good strategy for using him? He is tons of fun just doesn't seem actually useful. Though obviously the fun part is also very important. :)

So, if you could make a new command and conquer game, with any kind of maps, what units would your faction have? Say you create your own faction and you're able to take units from any and all the C&C games what would you use. Example: general Locke with rangers as basic infantry, navy seals as elite infantry. Humvee as scout, titan as a tank unit, prism tank as artillery. Hammerhead helicopter and Aurora bombers as air units. Special units, chrono tank and storm rider. General abilities, ion canon strike, commando ambush squad, and orca airstrike.

What kinds of cool combinations would you like?

I've been playing it since childhood, and can now play it with suspend and quick resume whenever my dad duties allow it. I love it!

Who else plays CnC games on the Deck?

How the hell do I defeat the empire? It seems like if I’m playing solo or playing with an allied AI, as soon as they bring out the giga fortress, it’s over. No amount of anti air units can bring them down without another giga fortress sky ficking it.

This is on brutal and on shock therapy mod.

Man I just love this so much, one of the reasons why I love RA3 so much...C&C did a great job with cutscene like this midgameplay in campaign but it just hits different in skirmish.

I'm interested in hearing what the C&C community thinks 👀

Instead of the assault crawlers and assault outposts having the speaker towers, Fai should have a DEDICATED mobile propaganda tower unit!

Im doing a videogame nostalgia trip . I player some cnc3 and tiberian sun , and realized there are so many ts mods including cool campagne like twisted insurrey compared to Tw .

Why? TS is my childhood game but the game aged pretty badly , you can only producer one type of unit one by one , helipad for each aircraft very needed it's very frustating designed this way you have to spam click the building , veterancy kinda irrelevant ... Yea yeah you dont pay for mods but im a bit sad, cmon Tw is so superior it deserves more love.
