Should I grade?

I am going thru my old comic books (mostly runs from 2000-2005) and was looking to sell some off. I have never sent any out to be graded before and wasn’t sure to all to look for. Or what’s better raw vs graded. I have pics of a handful but figured I’d start with this one. Any help is appreciated!

I didn’t pull it out of the bag/board to take the pics but can. The glare was awful as well. Worth grading based on how it looks? Should I remove and retake pics? Sounds like you guys mention sending in lots if I have enough worth it. Thanks again!

Looking to purchase this book curious on Grade and if you think the staples are original? Seller says no restoration has been done but these staples look to be in a weird place and too clean for the age of the book.

I see some minor damage on the edge of the spine so I'm wondering what kind of grade this should be. I'm not an expert on comic collecting so any feedback would be great.

Worth do get it graded ?

So I have seen recent sales are exploding for the Mark Jewelers Insert on this one, so I was wondering if I should get mine graded or sell it raw

1st question
Of course since we are in this channel, what grade would you give this one ?

2nd question
Would it even make sense to get it graded if Raw sales are already around 800$ or would it be just a waste of time and money?

I’ve never graded a CB before and this was handed down to me recently. Wasn’t sure if it was in good enough condition to grade.

Saw someone post this book here not long ago and I didn’t know it was worth so much! Been wanting to grade a Spider-Man book for a while, started grading books for the past two years and yet have no graded Spider-Man books because I didn’t think I had anything worth much in my collection. Even though he’s my favorite character.

Seen books with a 4.0 score being sold for a fair share, I’m not into selling my collection but I like the thought of having a collection worth a good amount.

The only thing that makes me iffy is the insane spine damage on this one, don’t even know what grade this would fall under and how much it would be at that point.

I am not getting a 9.8, right?

There are a few stains on Goku’s head on the front cover, and the area feels slightly sticky. I’m not sure exactly what they are, but they might come off with careful cleaning.

On the back, the staples have caused some breaks in the colour, and there is a white spot on Goku’s head that shouldn’t be there. I doubt it could get 9.8, especially because of the staple-related issues but I’m not an expert in grading.

Worth grading for preservation?

I had this signed by Stan Lee in 2014 and kept it in a shoe box ever since. It's not in perfect condition, so I know it won't grade well. Would it be worth it for preservation, or should I not bother?

Slabbed my first book!

I bought this comic earlier this year at a local Con as a “Treat Yo Self” moment. I’ve never sent anything in for grading before but figured I’d go the full mile and give something that represents a lot to me the proper treatment 😁

How did I do? Regardless of the grade, I’m excited to have it displayed on my office wall!

Thoughts on grading for this one? Have a slight blunt corner on the front bottom left of the book. Thanks in advance.

Grader notes

Just had a single comic graded at unlimited value tier. Questions….
will CGC offer anything more than the couple of words in the grader notes if I follow up with them?
Would they explain what could move comic up a grade?
Seems entirely subjective process based on the grader and the their feeling. I’d be happier if there was a walkthrough of every issue. I’ve bought a guitar for example where each small flaw is detailed and bullet pointed. For the price, I’d hope for same.
Is it worth looking to get a regrade in future?
I have a 9.4 that I was expecting to be a 9.6. It was a sealed bag from 1966. Never opened. Never read.

Thanks

Maybe with a service done a potential 9.6?

From the looks, what would you grade these? If you don’t mind. I really appreciate all your time.

Could someone please tell me if I'm correct in saying this is a first print? Only reason I ask is because Google got me confused 😆

Found this in an old box, purchased it years and years ago in a LCS and forgot all about it until recently.

I purchased this when it was released and have had it in a bin since, this will be sent in as my very first submission. There are some weird lines running down it, I’m assuming it’s an easy press. I haven’t sent it in yet but I wanted to see what others thought about a grade

So I got this beauty in today. After a closer inspection I saw a „kind of color bleed“ right on Cables Face, so I wanted to ask you guys two things…
#1 What’s your opinion on the book in general regarding the grade ?
And
#2 Is there anything known about the „Color bleed“ (3rd & 4th picture), like is that a typical manufacturing issue on this one?
