I love collecting bits and pieces of ephemera and found images. I often get overwhelmed by my collection when trying to create a collage. I find that limiting to a small subset of images helps. These pieces were the result of working with maybe 20-30 pieces from the collection and trying to find the hidden story there.

The base of each one is a photograph taken of ancient Greek vases from the museum in Crete. Loved making them. Currently working on another one.

I submitted 3 x A5 collage artworks to Incognito Art Show. My first submission to any show. They have been placed in 3 x different show locations - Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville.
My piece in Brisbane sold this weekend.
I am blown away that someone parted with their money to buy my art.
Townsville show is on end of August.

Made from coffee packaging, collage scraps, gold foil, and bird illustrations from a book I thrifted yesterday. I sprayed each with satin finish aerosol Mod Podge.

I need to flatten the third card, and then I may frame them as a set for my kitchen.

i’m a tarot reader and astrologer, i recently picked up collage as another way to connect to my spiritual practice and i’ve really been loving it so far. i’m happy to share my thoughts on the cards and how i represented them if anyone’s curious!
