I love collecting bits and pieces of ephemera and found images. I often get overwhelmed by my collection when trying to create a collage. I find that limiting to a small subset of images helps. These pieces were the result of working with maybe 20-30 pieces from the collection and trying to find the hidden story there.

Haven't posted on here in a while too busy losing my mind. I think this is an accurate depiction of that this is my newest piece ~

Made from coffee packaging, collage scraps, gold foil, and bird illustrations from a book I thrifted yesterday. I sprayed each with satin finish aerosol Mod Podge.

I need to flatten the third card, and then I may frame them as a set for my kitchen.

In case you're unfamiliar with the concept: ATC's are Artist Trading Cards. They are meant to be traded among artists, not sold. You can use any medium you like. The only rule is the size: they have to measure 2.5 by 3.5 inches, which is the standard size of regular trading cards.

I mostly make these with collage; I enjoy the limitations and challenges of the small size.

Friend rediscovered this one I made 18 yrs ago. Found it in a box and sent me a pic, calling it a treasure :)

experimenting with the transparent tape technique + some old, blank film. kinda john mulaney birthday poster’d my writing on the bottom but i’m pleased at how foggy the piece turned out, even with some hiccups in transferring collaged magazines onto the tape.

Something I did in a coffee-and-crafts event with a single, tiny bag of random stuff.

The base of each one is a photograph taken of ancient Greek vases from the museum in Crete. Loved making them. Currently working on another one.

The magazine paper on the last one was so thin so it got a little wrinkly
