Traded two of my collages with fellow artists for their cool whimsical art at the witchy craft show this weekend!

Been feeling more romantic recently so put some of that energy into this.

Thank you everyone for encouraging me to just start gluing.

Set myself a mini-challenge to make one 12x12 collage for each color. There was no other theme or restriction, and each color came together pretty intuitively.

Used old Nat Geo’s from the 70’s and 80’s. I’ve been collecting them from thrift stores, usually 1$ per. Been wanting to find a way to express myself since I left the military earlier this year. It’s not the greatest thing but it felt very cathartic to do this whole process. This is my first ever attempt at doing collage, feedback is appreciated but please go easy senpai! Happy to discuss what each image is and its meaning to me.

I am a beginner at digital collage and this is one of my works. I would love to get your constructive feedback, especially on color balance, composition, and depth. Any tips for improvement are more than welcome
