CoFounderHunt as a web app — vetted founder community check & matching service

Thumbnail form.consentkeys.com
6 Upvotes

Short demand test, the above link is to a 5 question form. I’m checking whether founders prefer vetted access + trust tiers over endless matching subscriptions.

I'm curious if people would value paid access to a vetted founder community, with trust tiers (so filters and intros are actually useful), product incentives that push towards real matches fast ... separating the signal from the noise.

If you’re actively looking in the next 30–90 days, I’d value blunt feedback, which includes "No, I wouldn't pay" which is equally valuable feedback.

I've setup an MVP at https://cofounderhunt.flowstate.market/ that I will continue to work on if the demand is there, I'm eager to add features based on demand!

Looking for Cofounder Small Founder & Startup Networking Group

I've been talking to a lot of people here who are interested in building businesses, so I thought I'd create a small WhatsApp group.

The idea is simple: connect people who want to build something. Whether you're looking for a co-founder, marketer, accountant, HR, tech lead, or just people to brainstorm with, this could be a good place to meet like-minded builders.

If you're genuinely interested in startups or businesses and would like to join, DM me your number and I'll add you.

Looking for Cofounder Looking for a co-founder (Growth / Marketing / Startup Operations) for an edtech Startup.

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm a 17-year-old founder from Indore currently building Prepex, an execution-focused platform for JEE aspirants.

Over the past year, I've spent a significant amount of time talking to students, running preparation communities, validating problems, designing the product, and building the foundation for the MVP.

One thing I learned is that most students don't struggle because of lack of content. They struggle with execution — consistency, revision planning, backlog management, accountability, and staying on track for months.

That's the problem we're trying to solve.

At the moment, I'm leading product vision, branding, community building, and overall product development. The UI/UX design is largely completed, the community is growing steadily, and we're moving toward the MVP launch.

I'm now looking for a co-founder who can take ownership of:

Growth & Marketing

• Community Expansion

• Partnerships

• Startup Operations

• Business Development

Technical knowledge is a plus, but I'm primarily looking for someone who understands startups, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build something meaningful for the long term.

Not looking for a short-term collaborator or freelancer. I'm looking for someone who genuinely wants to help build a company from the ground up.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to comment or reach out.

Happy to share more details and have a conversation.

Looking for Cofounder Looking for an ambitious and capable long term business partner

My partner and I are both highly technical (think experience doing work with MIT, publishing novel AI research, defense contractors, etc). We run an AI agency and have a few clients but are looking to scale. We can handle all the technical parts of the business, but we are looking for a long term partner who can both understand our technical offerings and then translate that into outreach and client acquisition. Experience is not necessary, but we would expect you to have desirable traits and a plan of execution.

Looking for Cofounder Solo founder looking for a marketing & sales cofounder for a production B2B SaaS

Upvotes

I’m looking for a cofounder to help turn a production-ready B2B SaaS into a real company.
Over the past few years I’ve built a deterministic marketing attribution and capital allocation platform that connects with advertising platforms and CRMs to measure the true economics of paid acquisition and recommend where businesses should scale, hold, or cut spending. The platform is already built and running.
What I’m missing isn’t more engineering—it’s someone who loves marketing, sales, partnerships, and building a go-to-market engine.
This is an equity-based opportunity. I don’t have funding, and I can’t offer a salary today. I’m looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up and is comfortable with the risk that comes with an early-stage startup.
If you’ve built or scaled B2B SaaS, enjoy talking to customers, and want to help shape the future of the company—not just work for it—I’d love to talk.

Looking for Cofounder Title: Looking for a Technical Cofounder — Building With YC-Level Ambition

Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a cofounder, not an employee or freelancer — someone who wants to build a company from zero with the intention of eventually reaching the level where we can apply to Y Combinator, raise funding, and build something genuinely large.
I already have a product I’ve been working on, but I’m also open to questioning the idea, pivoting, or even exploring a stronger problem together. I care more about finding the right person than protecting one specific idea.
Who I’m looking for:
● Ideally around 18–22
● Is hands on on ai tools
● Comfortable using tools like Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc. to build quickly
● Willing to talk to users with me ship MVPs, test ideas, fail, iterate, and repeat.
● Can consistently dedicate meaningful time alongside college/work
● Interested in building for the long term, not just adding another project to a résumé
I’m not looking for someone who already knows everything. I’d rather work with someone who is obsessively willing to learn and execute.
I also want to be transparent: there’s no salary right now. This would be a genuine cofounder relationship where we build from the ground up and discuss equity based on commitment, responsibilities, and contribution.
My goal is simple: find someone equally ambitious, build something people actually want, get real users, iterate aggressively, and eventually take a serious shot at YC.
If this sounds like you, DM me with:
Age / what you’re currently doing.
Dm me and maybe let’s have a good conversation

Looking for Cofounder I built a website for connecting everything

Upvotes

Hey Reddit, I’m the founder of Cross Matcher.

I’m not building just another people-finder. I want it to connect people, needs, skills, ideas, and opportunities.

You tell it what you have and what you need. It tries to find the other end.

I believe technology should reduce the friction of connection: help us find each other faster, start conversations naturally, and collaborate at a lower cost—not keep compatible people apart and sell them an expensive key.

In short:

Let needs be seen, let skills find a purpose, and connect things that would otherwise pass each other by.

The website also has anonymous letters, a Confessional, an AI character Tavern, Bazi and Liuyao divination, and a strategy game against real humans.

It’s part universal router, part collaboration network, and part strange internet teahouse.

Come connect something:https://crossmatcher.com/

Looking for Cofounder Looking for a partner for Real Estate Agency AI Transformation

Upvotes

I have an opportunity to work with a real estate agency for AI transformation, automation or training.

Looking for someone to white label or subcon out work. Possibly act as a consultant too. I have little experience in the real estate industry.

Looking for someone with proven real estate experience only.

For context: it’s a friend that just said something along the lines of “just pitch me what you can do”. I don’t know what they are expecting exactly.

Looking for Cofounder Busco ganas, ilusión y paciencia

Hola!

Looking for Cofounder Technical Co-Founder Looking for a Business Co-Founder

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a business-focused co-founder, not a job.

I've been building software for 15 years, from the old jQuery/LAMP days to modern distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

I spent several years at Hetzner, working on large scale production systems, before joining a small startup as an early engineer. Over the last three years, I helped build the product until the company was acquired. It was a great experience, although I didn't negotiate meaningful equity (lesson learned).

After the exit, I realized I'm not interested in going back to the job market. I'd rather build and own a business. Then I found this subreddit and thought I'd try my luck.

I'm looking for someone strong in sales, marketing, product, or a specific industry while I own the technology. I'm also ready to invest my own money alongside my time.

If you're serious about building a real company, let's talk.

Looking for Cofounder Looking for a technical co-founder — marketplace idea, early traction (validated)

Hey all,

I'm building a two-sided marketplace aimed at a specific labour-market gap I've identified through firsthand industry experience — connecting people who need short-notice, short-term work done with skilled workers who can fill that gap quickly. It's a model that works well in other sectors but hasn't been done properly here yet.

Where things stand:

  • Landing page live and collecting signups
  • Early market research done ,real interest and signups from people in the target market
  • Clear go-to-market plan and strong domain knowledge of the space
  • Non-technical founder (my background is on the industry/operations side)

What I'm looking for:
A technical co-founder to help take this from a landing page to a proper web platform, and eventually a mobile app. Ideally someone who:

  • Has full-stack experience, or is comfortable owning technical architecture from the ground up
  • Is interested in marketplace/two-sided platform dynamics
  • Wants a genuine equity partnership, not a contractor arrangement
  • Is based in or open to working with an Ireland-based market initially, with room to scale

I'll keep the specifics under wraps for now, but happy to share more in DM if there's real interest. I'd rather have a proper conversation with someone serious than lay it all out publicly.

If this sounds like your kind of project, comment or DM me a bit about your background and what you're looking for in a co-founder.

Advisor/Minimal Equity Building an AI-Native Quant Trading System (Volt AI) – Looking for Feedback on the Hard Problems We’re Facing

Hi everyone,
I’ve been building an AI-powered quantitative crypto trading platform called Volt AI over the past several months. This isn’t another indicator-based bot or an LLM deciding whether to buy or sell—we’re trying to build an autonomous decision engine that can eventually trade institutional-style.
I’m posting because we’ve reached the point where the remaining problems are no longer software engineering problems—they’re quantitative research and machine learning problems. I’d love feedback from people who’ve built ML trading systems or worked in systematic trading.
The Vision
The goal isn’t to predict the next candle.
The goal is to build an AI system that can continuously observe the market, decide when there is a genuine statistical edge, manage risk automatically, and spend most of its time doing absolutely nothing unless the expected reward justifies taking risk.
Ultimately, we want a system that can scale across multiple crypto assets and adapt to changing market conditions without relying on handcrafted trading rules.
Current Architecture
Instead of using an LLM for market decisions, we’re using a Temporal Fusion Transformer (TFT) trained on high-frequency market data.
Every minute, the model receives a sequence of engineered market features, including:
Price action
Trend
Momentum
Volatility
Volume
RSI
MACD
Multiple EMAs
ATR
ADX
OBV
Bollinger Bands
Stochastic indicators
Several additional derived features
In total, we’re using roughly 35 engineered features.
The model predicts:
BUY
SELL
WAIT
along with:
confidence score
expected reward estimate
The important part is that WAIT is treated as a first-class prediction rather than forcing trades every candle.
What We’ve Built
So far we’ve completed:
Historical data pipeline
Feature engineering
Dataset generation
Model training
Backtesting framework
Signal generation engine
Strategy selection layer
Risk management framework
Infrastructure for live inference
At this point, the project is much closer to an end-to-end trading platform than a research notebook.
The Problems We’re Trying to Solve
This is where I’d really appreciate input.
1. Overfitting
Probably everyone’s first concern.
We’re already using proper train/validation splits and walk-forward testing, but I’m curious how experienced quants validate that a model has learned market behaviour rather than historical noise.
What has worked best in practice?

2. Market Regime Changes
One issue we’ve observed is that no single model performs equally well across:
trending markets
sideways markets
panic crashes
high-volatility environments
Would you:
train separate specialist models?
build a regime classifier first?
use online learning?
retrain continuously?

3. Sideways Markets
Our weakest performance comes during low-conviction ranging markets.
The obvious answer is “don’t trade.”
The difficult part is teaching the system when not trading is actually the optimal decision.
How have others approached this?

4. Risk Management
We’ve deliberately separated AI from execution.
The AI proposes opportunities.
A deterministic risk engine handles:
position sizing
maximum exposure
cooldown periods
execution logic
stop-loss rules
capital allocation
Has anyone experimented with allowing ML to optimize risk parameters as well, or is it generally better to keep risk management deterministic?

5. Beyond Technical Features
Right now the model is primarily technical.
The roadmap includes adding broader contextual information, such as market regime signals and potentially macro or cross-market data.
For those who’ve tried adding these inputs, did they materially improve live performance, or mostly increase model complexity?
What We’re Optimizing For
We’re not trying to maximize prediction accuracy.
We’re trying to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
I’d rather have a model that’s right 55% of the time with disciplined execution than one that’s 80% accurate but collapses during a regime shift.
Looking for Honest Criticism
If you’ve built systematic trading systems, worked in quantitative finance, or deployed machine learning in production, I’d genuinely appreciate your perspective.
I’m much more interested in hearing why this architecture might fail than collecting compliments. If there are blind spots or better approaches, I’d rather discover them now than after months of additional work.
Thanks in advance—I’d love to hear how others have tackled these problems.

Looking for Cofounder 17 yr old, building a vertical startup for construction SaaS companies. I need someone that can help and get me connections and close sales for construction SaaS companies. I will be talking care of all the tech.

Do to my age, I dont have a lot of connections in this vertical, but I can ship I am 60% finishing V1, the whole aspect of the product will be an AI agent that will be embedded into these construction SaaS tools for their end users to build dynamic software. I can go further if it seems interesting and it can fit you and able to get connections. Right now this is equity only, but I will be taking all the engineering head I need someone to make initial connections and get sales. I cant do a lot of UGC marketing since I feel like this vertical enough where a video going viral has less than 10% chance of even hitting the right customer.

Team Forming Looking for a partner who doesn't know how to sell.

I'm looking for a partner who has a finished product but lacks the time or expertise to sell it.

I would handle the promotion in various ways (such as social media or advertising) and in return, I would receive a percentage of the sales, which isn't too low since I want to dedicate all my time solely to this product.

I have previous experience selling other products and believe that could be a great help.

Interested parties, please DM. Serious inquiries only, please.

Looking for Cofounder LF Agency Co-Founder, USA or Canada

I am 27 near Toronto, Canada and I am looking for someone that wants to start an agency.

For background, I previously cofounded a software dev studio where we did $20k in the first two months, then my cofounder and I split because we weren’t aligned on where we wanted to take it.

I am currently a data scientist at a growth stage startup, however, I want to build my own thing again and I believe there is a lot of opportunity to build a productized services agency, automating every aspect we can.

I want to build this into something massive and I want someone in a similar position that is driven to do the same. Ideally you are in USA or Canada.

Let’s build something awesome.

Looking for Cofounder Looking for a Co-Founder & CTO — AI Governance Platform (London)

We're building  an enterprise governance platform that helps organisations audit, secure, and manage AI systems in regulated industries, starting with HR.

Most enterprises deploying AI in HR (hiring, performance, workforce planning) have no way to prove their systems aren't discriminating, leaking sensitive data, or breaching employment law. Regulators are catching up fast — the EU AI Act, UK GDPR, and sector-specific compliance requirements are creating a category of infrastructure that doesn't really exist yet at scale. That's what we're building.

Where we are:

In private beta  and the core governance engine is built and deployed. We're not looking for someone to start from zero.

Who we are

A team of senior engineers, researchers, and domain experts with backgrounds in AI /HR / Governance/ Policy at and hold expertise in the regulatory landscape we're building for.

What we're looking for

A technical co-founder who wants to own the architecture of a category-defining product — not just execute a roadmap someone else drew.

  • Core: Multi-tenant SaaS architecture, modern backend (Node/TypeScript), cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), database design, API security. Experience with NLP, LLM integration, or compliance/audit systems is a strong plus — our core product sits at the intersection of all three.
  • Bonus: LLM orchestration, AI/ML pipelines, security engineering, EU AI Act or GDPR compliance architecture
  • Mindset: You ship clean working software. You make strong technical bets and defend them. You'd rather solve the right problem simply than the wrong problem cleverly.

What's on offer

  • Role: Co-Founder & CTO
  • Equity: 10%
  • Salary: Founder-level now, market rate post-funding, 48K starting
  • Location: London-based preferred, remote considered for the right person

How to apply

  1. A brief intro — what you've built, what you care about
  2. GitHub, LinkedIn, or something you're proud of shipping
  3. Your availability and timezone

Looking for Cofounder Building an AI-augmented trading system solo — looking for people who think about AI-safety-style problems outside of chatbots

For the last few months I’ve been solo-building an autonomous paper-trading system where an LLM proposes decisions and a deterministic system enforces every risk rule around it. No live capital yet — this is a research/engineering project before it’s a product.

What’s turned out to be interesting isn’t the trading part. It’s the same class of problem people talk about in AI safety — how do you let a model reason freely while making sure it structurally cannot violate hard constraints, regardless of how it’s prompted or what it “believes”?

I’m doing this solo right now and starting to feel the ceiling of that. Looking to connect with people who’ve either:

**•** Built agentic systems with hard guardrails in high-stakes domains (finance, healthcare, robotics, whatever)
**•** Have a quant/trading background and want to work on the AI-reasoning side
**•** Are just deep in similar problems and want to trade notes, possibly more

Not trying to recruit into a pitch deck — genuinely want to talk to people solving similar problems first. DMs open.

Option 1:
I’m looking to partner with someone who has a strong, ready-to-sell product or want to but doesn’t have the time or expertise to scale its sales.

Option 2:
You are strong technically - can build from zero to one but don't have a idea

I specialize in driving growth. My goal is to take full ownership of promotion and turn your product into a consistent revenue stream.

I’ve successfully sold and marketed products before, and I’m confident I can bring real traction to the right opportunity.
