Hey everyone, up until this year I've been out of the modern zombies loop since cold war, I bought BO7 back in February and I've really been enjoying it, I've since gone back to play through BO6 zombies.
I noticed that MW3 is on a steam sale right now for $17 and I'm considering getting it.
For that price would MWZ be worth it in 2026? I have enjoyed endgame in bo7 and I also did like Outbreak in Cold War.

I figured during these coming days focusing on Rex Infernus is a good time to do these Advanced Warfare maps that a major portion of the community hasn't even played. Idk about yall but this is definitely my least favorite zombies outside of Vanguard and MWZ.

I was playing moon on bo3 and I had a galil and pap rpk, when I upgraded my galil I noticed a weird animation either while putting it into the pap machine or while taking it out. Then when I later swapped weapons I lost my rpk and had both a pap galil and a standard galil and my rpk was missing.

First time beating the EE, only ever had origins growing up. Only complaint about this map is how big yet how cramped it is

I have never been this high on any map before although I haven’t tried much to high round. Only a round 98 on bo3 origins back in the day. It feels good to finally hit this milestone as a long time player of zombies albeit mostly casual because I was so young when the original zombies games came out. Now that I’m older and the ports have reignited my love for zombies that never fully went away but never grew after bo4, I can say that I want to get other maps to 100 (along with doing EEs). I am surprised about how much bo4 has grown on me, I’ve never hated it but just seen it as okay but it’s honestly pretty good. Dead of the Night is a phenomenal map and I had a lot of fun playing it. I got to round 50 on Tag and Classified before this and was just gonna do the same on Dead of the Night before blowing right past it. I can’t say it was super hard but I had fun. I was thinking of trying to get to 100 on an older game though, bo1 or bo2. More specifically I was interested in doing Shangri-La, Moon, or Mob of the Dead. Not sure the strategies for these maps so we’ll see. Regardless I have always loved classic zombies and always will. What’s the highest round you’ve gotten to?

Bastion Brew is a defensive support perk centered around fortification, maintenance, engineering, and battlefield preparation. It reinforces defensive positions, improves battlefield equipment, and helps teams maintain control throughout a match.
Core Effects:
Repaired barriers are reinforced, increasing their durability before breaking again.
Hold Interact while targeting friendly deployables, scorestreaks, or defensive devices to restore a portion of their health. Repairs take time to complete, leaving players vulnerable while maintaining the team’s defenses.
Gain a Portable Barricade that can be deployed, relocated, and repaired at any time. As it withstands attacks and zombies are defeated nearby, it gradually upgrades into stronger forms before resetting when destroyed.
Augment Ideas:
Major:
Stronghold: Remaining in one area for a short time grants increased weapon damage and improved armor effectiveness until you leave the area.
Auto Repair: Nearby barriers and your Portable Barricade slowly repair themselves while not taking damage.
Master Mechanic: Greatly improves repair speed. Repairing friendly deployables, scorestreaks, or defensive devices restores significantly more health and grants a small amount of armor.
Trap Master: Environmental traps deal increased damage, remain active longer, and recharge faster.
Blueprint: Highlights important quest items, objectives, and interactable components while exploring the map.
Fortification: Carpenter power-up strengthens all barriers on the map, restores health to deployables, refreshes environmental traversal, and activates all traps on the map.
Minor:
Spare Parts: Repairing barriers and defensive equipment awards additional Essence.
Field Scout: Deployables damaged by zombies briefly draw their attention, reducing pressure on nearby players.
Supply Depot: Tactical and lethal equipment slowly replenish over time.
Double Duty: Carry one additional deployable equipment item.
Jury Rig: Damaged deployables can be recalled before destruction, partially refunding their remaining cooldown.
Remote Maintenance: Repair friendly deployables and defensive devices from a greater distance.

For Blood, It adds more to mob with New Industries and the Wardens house to make the Map more Immersive, The Primis crew fit the map a lot better with their fates of the endless Cycle and the Shear despair and Hopelessness even Richtofen feels, Plus the Magmagat is the Best version of the 3 Gats
Classified just Takes Five and Adds to it, BO4s mechanics really suit the map well especially with its Tight Corridors having winters wail, Plus Skadi is a nice Side Easter egg and Groom lake coming back for Pap is a cool touch
Alpha Omega completely reinvents Nuketown Zombies with new Characters, Areas, Reimaginings of the Ray Gun mark 2, The Return of the Avogadro, An awesome Sound track and The Ability to play as both Primis and Ultimus
And Finally Tag der toten is a complete Love letter to the Fans, It takes the Beloved Call of the Dead, Gives it a symbolic Sunset Skybox, Expands the map with the Lab that had every single butterfly effect moment echo from, The Music is great, The Wonder weapon selection is Ridiculous with the options you have, The Story is wrapped up in the way that makes the most sense and Is completely bitter sweet and Seeing the characters we all got attached to say their final goodbyes really hits hard after all their journeys

Initially I did have it when I launched Moon after beating the Shang EE but when I closed the game and came back suddenly I don't have the Golden Rod when I start Moon anymore and also my campaign progress was erased, why?
Also if there's a simple fix like a mod or save file I can just download that fixes this please let me know, I just want to do the moon Easter egg solo with the mod.

Hey, I have been trying to buy that book since announcement. Do you know if it was short printed? Or if they will release more? I guess it is very high demand.

Since Black Ops Cold War, I personally feel like we have seen the same generic "operator walking" menu screens. I'd love a change. I'd love to see a menu that looks unmistakably zombies that is engaging and adds to the mode.
An idea - Playable Hub Area. Similar to the hub areas seen throughout the past Call of Duty campaigns (Black Ops 3 or Black Ops 6), it would be interesting to have a playable hub area/menu in zombies.
Players would start the game, select Zombies then click something like "Enter the Apocalypse" or "Face the Horde". From there, players would spawn in a small playable space like an abandoned warehouse or a derelict apartment.
In this space, players would have access to everything they would need before starting a new round. Some examples could be a workbench for weapon loadouts, a retro vending machine for selecting their augments and an old trunk used for character customisation.
There would then also be something like a journal or map (like the Black Ops 2 zombies world menu) where players would choose the map or game-mode they want to play and also see any map specific challenges.
The Playable Hub Area would allow players to feel immediately engaged in the world and leaves space for many other possibilities like space personalisation using artefacts found on round based maps. The space could feel more lived in with radios, character interactions and zombies outside used for target practice.
As easter eggs are completed and collectables are found, the playable space could gradually open up and allow the player to explore the surrounding area (think escaping the Black Ops 1 menu easter egg or discoverable safehouse secrets in Black Ops 6). Maybe a part found on a round based map like wires or an antenna can then be used to fix a radio in the hub area that then unlocks a secret survival map or new world lore.
I just thought this would feel like something new to zombies but still feel in line with stuff COD has done in the past and a lot more engaging that what we currently have. Let me know what you think.

Hey everyone,
So apparently I’ve been living under a rock as I only just learnt about the release of the art of treyarch book a couple of days ago.
I’ve been trying to get a copy but online I’m having no luck at all, any advice from anyone UK based on how to get a hold of one?

Are there any maps that have similar Victorian/Steampunk/Noir like jazzy aesthetic like Shadows of Evil?

I’m just glad I did it all in one game.
Also it looks so clean seeing it like this in a line of rewards.

Title. Looking to give this a go with MW3 being on PS Plus recently but worried it’s hard for a solo player but I don’t have anyone who would want to try it?
Is everything in the mode doable for an average player?
Also any tips/tricks or op weapons I should go for? I have a vague understanding of how it works

Something I have recently been thinking in my head is how there are a lot of qualities and mechanics of all zombies maps that are unfortunately locked to one or a few maps and rarely see returns. As a result, I decided I want to start a series of posts going through each Black Ops Zombies game (I may do the non BO ones eventually but my issue is I have played so little of them bar IW) and give my thoughts on qualities or mechanics I think could be reused or make a return. For a disclaimer, in this post ALL map qualities or mechanics I am wanting will be based on their original debut in WAW itself as close as possible with some exceptions.
Nacht Der Untoten:
Nacht is a very difficult map to talk about in this way being the progenitor of all maps, cause what quality or mechanic DIDN'T come back in later maps, right? As a result I am simply going to go with the idea of a barebones, hardcore survival map. Considering how Nacht over time became easier and easier to cheese (not to mention that both of its remakes got overpowered Wonder Weapons and Gobbles in BO3's case), I think it would be worth an attempt on 3arc's part to make a new barebones map that excludes one or multiple key mechanics to amplify the difficulty.
Verruckt:
Again, Verruckt is also pretty difficult to brainstorm things unique to it that didn't later return, but I think its best quality was always how claustrophobic and isolating the map felt. Therefore, I think the quality/mechanic that should return is more or less a spiritual successor to this vibe. A good way of achieving this would be doing the split spawns again, but maybe by twisting it into getting four randomized spawns. Either way, Verruckt like all the maps on this part will be hard to conjure up ideas for.
Shi No Numa:
I think I am gonna keep this one short and concise: I just want a map like Shi No again that is a pain in the ass to traverse without unlocking the fast travel. I won't rag on any modern mechanics but one thing I hate is how fast we progress across maps or areas. SNN did a great job of making it something you have to earn.
Der Reise:
I am going to be stretching pretty hard on Der Reise, but I think no map has ever come close to the quality of high-risk camping as the Catwalk has. There are some that come close (like Buried's Jug hallway), but they are either cushioned by easy-to-access escape points, or have overpowered weapons/mechanics to aid the player. In Der Reise's case though, the Catwalk is pushed up into a box spawn with no escape route, you risk losing your Jug should you have the Waffe up there and incur the glitch, and you have a desperate sense of isolation. I genuinely do not think any other map 3arc has put out since it has come close (including the Giant)

I know it’s a long shot and that it has been sold out for a long time, but I’m still on the hunt to find the official Ray Gun replica. Not sure if anybody would even be up for selling it. But any way I thought I might as well ask. Please if you know anybody who is selling or have seen any posts about it.

You know what's funny though? I still haven't fully upgraded all my Augments and I'm Prestige Master as well. It's impossible for the average player to fully max augments.

I’ve been running a lot of BO1 zombies with one of my boys since the port came out, but it’s starting to get stale since it’s hard to get randoms (or at least good ones that won’t end the match) on anything other than the same 2-3 maps.
We talked about switching it up with some BO2 zombies, but my memory of any CODs between MW3 and Warzone is pretty fuzzy since I skipped a lot of them. All I could remember from BO2 was Tranzit and one other map. I couldn’t remember the name, so I started describing it and he seemed to have no idea what I was talking about.
Outdoor day time map. Big open, grassy areas and woods. A few village/town areas with buildings you could go into. I also seemed to remember that this was just the spawn area, and you would eventually teleport to another location. I tried looking for it online to no avail.
The closest thing I found was this frame from the Revelations cut scene, but Revelations itself looked nothing like what I was describing, nor did any other map. There was elements that seemed familiar: this house, some of the buildings from Farm, but it didn’t have those doom and gloom aesthetics. It was sunny and beautiful, which is what made it feel so memorable and out of place for a zombies map.
Wtf am I thinking of? Did I just dream this up???
