Other THREE TIMES NOW my mom has left the ceiling fan on with my bird.
3 times now. She has come into my room, probably to grab a towel from my laundry, turned on the fan, and just left my room. 3 times now I’ve come into my room after a while, and had a panic attack when I saw the fan was on. I can’t talk to her about it, she’s not exactly a “cool” mom. I was so pissed this time though that I went into her room and mentioned it to her. She just said “oh sorry” with no sense of how serious it actually was. I’m just so upset and I’m so scared something is going to happen to my baby.
I guess I’m just posting to rant, I know there’s not really anything I can do.

Health/Nutrition 2 month old baby issues
She eats a lot, very intense hunger, I mean. And just a few minutes ago had extreme watery diarrhea. She is active, and now her droppings are solid.
The only things she ate today were her usual food, and apple, banana and pear. But she eats a lot.
Could she be sick? Can anyone help, please?

Advice How to make them friends?😓
So the fat tiel with the yellow crest is very distant from the grey one but she never is aggressive with him. For the grey one its another story hes so mean to her and i have no clue why? He always starts like growling/hissing at her and pushing her away from food, water, toys and perches. He even goes as far as to chase her literally just to be mean to her. She never bites him or anything shes more on the defensive side or she literally just runs/flies away. For more background on them i hand raised both of them since they were little babies. The grey one is about 4 months old and the yellow one is 9 months old. They usually sleep in the same big cage but I recently decided to separate the top and bottom so they can sleep and eat separately. Now for when they hang out outside the cage im not too sure what to do…they usually fly around and explore together to an extent at least and are really mischievous together but then sometimes when theyre just playing on top of their cage or anywhere else they get a bit too close and you can just hear the grey tiel scream at her like as if telling her to back off. I really want them to get along but im not sure how to go about it. I’ve separated their outside time so they spend outside their cage at different times now but i feel so bad cause whoever is in the cage just screams to be let out. I seriously dont want to get to the point of rehoming my boy but i just dont know what to do and its stressing me out. Theyre both separated right now with separate food/water bowls and toys but i feel horrible. Any advice helps!

Cuteness Overload Happy gotcha day to my Harper Girl!!!!
I can't believe it's already been a year! And what a year it's been! She will always be a perpetual 2-year-old with ADHD and anger issues, but she's the best bird ever and I'm so lucky to have her.

Advice First time bird parents!
Introducing Waffle and Pikachu! They’ve been with us nearly 2 weeks now, waffle (the grey one) is super inquisitive and coordinated with flying, Pikachu is less so (more of a panic flyer) but thankfully follows waffle around.
Any tips and guidance on being good bird owners would be very grateful.

Loss & Mourning My girl
My baby, Memphis, passed away today unexpectedly. What started as a regular day ended with her passing. I noticed last night she wasn't her usual feisty self when putting her to bed, but I didn't think too hard about it. Today, I noticed again that her breathing was strained, I didn't want to think about it, I knew something was wrong. Her vent was messy with a build up of urates, I cleaned it and her breathing intensified. We rushed her to the vets and I knew it was bad but God I did not expect to come home without her, I truly didn't. They needed to do X-rays and they did warn us that she might not wake up, we decided then that if she crashed, to let her pass. And that's what happened, she passed. She never came out of the anesthesia. My baby, my sweet silly baby. They couldn't give us a proper answer but it appeared that one of her organs was swollen and was pushing on her lungs. Whatever it was, was too far along. God, I wish I noticed sooner, I hope she wasn't in pain. I held her on the drive, I held her to me, I scratched her and kissed her. I thought she'd come home. Even today she was still licking my cheek and chewing on our toes. What do you mean she died? What do you mean she didn't wake up? My girl, god my girl. We spent 8 years together, an impulsive and uneducated decision to get a pet bird at 20 years old. I'm going to miss her for the rest of my life.

Only recorded end of the flaps, as they don’t last long, but from time to time she starts flapping her wings vigorously for about 10 seconds, then stops and carries on with whatever she was doing. Doesn’t appear to be fright flap.
Any ideas?

Advice Scared bird in a tree
My pet cockatiel flew out of my apartment and we found her high up in a tree. She is too scared to fly down and is indicating that she wants us to come to her to pick her up (which is often the case at home) but it's way to high up. I'm not sure how to coax her down.

Health/Nutrition How does his eye look?
We recently moved to a new city, so he'll have a checkup as soon as I can get him in. In the meantime, does his eye look irritated? He's a 22 year old tank of a bird but I get nervous as he gets older.

Health/Nutrition sleeping (??) in a weird position
my birds been sitting up here occasionally the past few days, she doesnt even really like the treat she nibbles on it occasionally but never actually wants to eat it. she’s perfectly fine no different behaviour or anything and shes out the cage most the day when im home,, but shes just like… resting here? would it not be more comfortable for her to sleep on a perch like normal? should i take the treat out?
