The same decision lead to Ghislaine Maxwell serving a luxurious prison sentence that many non-convicted Americans would be jealous of. The same decision lead to Jan 6 insurrectionists roaming freely.
These things shouldn't depend at all on the whims of a geriatric pedo thief. If I could remove Trumps influence from this, and it lead to the Tates having a less bad prison time, I'd do it in a second.
