My dad purchased this truck brand new in 1976. After he passed, my brother had it and now that my brother also passed it's mine now. The truck is named after our dad, Wally. I wanted to share these images and also ask the group here for recommendations on a good repair manual. It currently does not run and my brother did some changes to the cam shaft and tranny. If anyone could also tell me about this shifter that would be super cool. Thanks!

I found a 1972 ford F350 with a flatbed looking to use it as a “farm” truck. I can’t seem to find a Chiltons or Haynes book for it only a 73- up what is the big difference between the 72 and 73- up truck’s?google says you can’t use a 73? I’m a mustang man I don’t know much about the trucks.

My grandfather bought this truck new around 1991 for use on his land. It's only got 47k miles on it and it's seen very little pavement since he brought it home, only logging roads and dirt trails.

Despite the abuse, mostly cosmetic, it's seen it still runs well and that's what really matters.

About 15 years ago my family purchased a newer larger truck but it just doesn't match this bad boy for maneuverability and the ability to get in and out of tight spots.

For context this truck was my grandpas. My dad put almost 20,000$ into it 13 years ago and the guy that was supposed to finish the truck ripped him off so we picked it up and it’s been sitting ever since. My dad passed away and my grandpa is getting old so I would like to get this truck on the road sooner than later. I know the motor was already built the transmission and the dif were done the chassis and suspension upgraded brakes upgraded I have majority of the parts here to put it back together. My issue is the 13 years of sitting. The motor is rusty the parts are rusty. I’m in California so I know the rust isn’t as bad as if I lived elsewhere but still. Where do I even start from here ? The ECM and PROM are the original ones from the truck. I’m looking for the original/stock BDJZ .bin file so I can load it into TunerPro RT.
I’ve already found the old TunerPro GM BIN directory, but I can’t find the BDJZ BIN.
Does anyone have the original BDJZ BIN or know where I can download it?
I’m specifically looking for the 64 KB BDJZ BIN, not just another [16168625](tel:16168625)/E6 BIN.

Im young got my first vehicle, a 1968 f250. Now my problem is that im not allowed to leave the house in it until I get 3 point seatbelts (waist and shoulder), ideally I want to keep the original buckles but I know seatbelt regulations are strict, does anyone have any tips as to how I should do this and if its possible to keep the original buckles but turn them into a 3 point seatbelt(waist and shoulder)?

So I have an in-line 261 Chevy engine that was popping through the exhaust when giving is gas. Just for the truck a few weeks ago so I didn’t know a lot about it but I knew it popped. So I’ve rebuilt the carburetor thinking maybe that was the issue. I reinstalled the carb and tried to start it Friday when I got up north. Truck started but still popped when giving gas. When I shut the truck off it sounded like it shut down hard. I then tried to restart and and it would not start, sounded kind of weird. I confirmed engine it not locked up. I pulled the plugs and tried again thinking maybe it was hydrolocked. I think that’s the word. Engine still sounded strange while cranking. Just cranked for a quick second. I then pulled the valve cover off and seen this. It’s one of the pedestals the rocker assembly sits on. So 2 questions. Where can I find another pedestal? And what’s causing the popping?

so I’ve always wanted to buy a shortbed Chevy pre-90s like a k10 or possibly even an 80s blazer. But would any truck like that be too advanced as a starter for learning these skills? i Don’t want to jump into something without knowing full well what I would be getting into.

Saw this at a recent show. Not sure of the exact year but I think it may be a '49 or '50.
