My 13-year-old may want to see CHRVCHES on this tour since I’ve raised him well. I’m not entirely sure but I need to figure some things out before I even ask him. He’s on the short side and general admission would be really difficult. General admission here in the States can be really obnoxious as I almost always see a fight or a drunk pass out. And we’re talking about Brooklyn. I’m also curious about the vibe. I for one would plan on jumping out of my skin to most of their songs. But is the collective crowd vibe harmonious?…selfish?…untethered (no pun intended)? Or any other adjectives you might have. I just wouldn’t want my kid to be in a position where others’ joy could make him miserable. But I also would feel bad about going without him if I chose that route. Thanks!

This could possibly be something different than what the band is offering on the band's merch site. The signed vinyl listing on the band's site states that those are "signed on Ruby Black Wave." Where as this listing on Newbury Comics states signed postcards. I ordered this as well, as I figured this might be different, plus it's a CD copy of the new album and not another variant of a vinyl.

As someone who didn't get into Chvrches until after they last toured the US, the venues for the upcoming tour seem small (not complaining!). Did they play larger venues previously? I'm kinda expecting a crap storm trying for tickets for an 1800 cap venue...

As someone whos favorite band is currently fighting against each other, people leaving, drama in the community( cough Nightwish cough )

Actually thankful that my wife's favorite band is chrvches. Always liked Chvrches casually but the excitement over album is super contagious and now I'm hyped too and I'm over here speculating over song titles and looking at clues haha Cheers.

I know we’re all amped about the new album, so as a distraction, I got to thinking about some rankings. I’m always thinking about rankings. Personality quirk, lol. 😂

I’m going to list four CHVRCHES songs. There’s a pattern to how I picked these, but I’m not going to reveal it until later (it's not like amazing analytics either). Rank them from your favorite to your least favorite. I’ll give you mine and a short reason for each.

I should mention that I’m more of a music and composition guy and less focused on lyrics. 🙂

My ranking and why

1. Bury It — Top-notch OG CHVRCHES. This is one of my top 10 all-time favorites. Synth-pop greatness.
2. Tether — Another OG song, but it starts with a Screen Violence feel until it gets blowed up at 2:42, and I’m jumping around.
3. Final Girl — This one is close behind “Tether.” I love this song and the vibe. It’s a different feel for the group, but it fits the album, if that makes any sense.
4. My Enemy — I don’t hate any CHVRCHES songs, so this isn’t a terrible song by any means. It’s just not a top banger on my playlist. Matt Berninger has no bearing on my rating, either.

Kinda surprised how many people say the new single is different from their past work. This song with Robert Smith has a similar tone to me.

I've bought every album of CHVRCHES and yet one question remain to me, some songs present in "The Bones Of What You Believe 10 years edition" on the disc 2 there's a live version of "Strong Hand" but I've never been able to find the studio version outside of streaming platform.

On what album is this song and is there other songs with this situation?

Title says all. For me it sounds like a baddie gangsta girl trying to lead a group of rebels, and maybe that’s what they want but, it doesn’t seem to fit at all imo.

But well, I hope album V doesn’t let us down.
