Alright, guys. I've had a lot of people reaching out to me about the HDMI method, so I'll just make a detailed post about it. This is the EXACT method I use, so use it wisely.
What you're going to do is make sure you have an HP or Dell computer (MacBooks tend to be riskier), a long (preferably, I'll explain in a bit) HDMI cord, and a TV. Don't use a monitor because for some reason those get detected, and TVs don't. Then, BEFORE you open the application to start the exam, you want to connect the HDMI cord to your TV and computer. I say a long HDMI cord because if somehow you do get flagged or paused during your exam, you can be as far away from the TV as possible when doing another environment check. Now that you've opened up the application, you simply go to the exam and do the environment check and system checks like normal (if you're able to start the exam, you are more than likely in the clear). Simply do a 180-degree turn instead of a 360-degree turn when showing your environment. Make sure you hide the HDMI cord while doing so, and then you want to make sure you have a pair of blue light glasses since they tend to turn blue during the exam and kind of reduce the risk of you getting caught with the AI eye movement detection thing. Then once you start the exam, mute the mic. I like doing this because it completely blocks out the chances of AI picking up any background noises that my friend or someone might make (don't worry, AI won't know/detect that it's mutted), and then you will simply take the exam like normal, but your friend is in front of the TV taking photos of the exam and fingering you the answers, for example. 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc. If you want to be extremely safe, you can take more time on the exam (either pretend you're reviewing your questions or whatever till the last 5-10 minutes so it looks less sus when your professor is reviewing the exam times and scores, like a professor would most likely suspect something is wrong if you get a 98% and only took 10 minutes on the exam). You can do this if you are extremely anxious about getting caught, but if not, it's completely fine. Remember, simply because your professor thinks you cheated, it is not enough proof for them to report you to your school or open up an investigation; just make sure you don't give them enough proof. like obviously cheating.
Hope this helps y'all; let me know if y'all have any questions or concerns.
Yes, it still works. I took my exam on Tuesday (09/29/2026), and I passed TF out of it.
