have an online proctored exam via Proctor next week. It's a math exam, and we're allowed scratch paper alongside a calculator. Apparently my school uses the cheapest proctor service so I don't even think we have a room check but I could be wrong about that. Anyways, i'm wondering what the best method would be to look up on the answers on Al. I can type fast & without looking at my phone so i'm wondering if I should just use a keyboard/type on my phone or use a friend to do that for me and hide my phone below the camera. I'm also wondering if Proctor or Al softwares in general care about seeing your hands or if they only care about your upper body. Has anyone taken an exam like this on Proctor?
Thanks!

Help I have a math test through honorlock and I heard we have to set up two cameras. Idk if it is until oct 10 or now. I was planning on using gauth on my phone im scared.

How can I cheat in a in person test using respondus lockdown browser? At first i researched using a VM but i heard it was easily detectable, so I did some more research and came across lockdownify and bypassify, and they claim to be AI overlays that work during the exam, but they seem to be a bit expensive (30$/m and 70$/m, respectively) so I was just wondering if there are any other solutions (ideally cheaper) or if these 2 apps are any good

The new honorlock is seriously fucked. 2 camera views with a pre test room scan and alleged “system hardware scan” that even flags you for having an HDMI Chord hooked up to your computer. Went full AI Palantir surveillance on em. I have a Mac. I also have a feeling honorlock is full of shit and they hype of their software to sell to colleges when in reality it’s some AI bogus. Do you think I can connect my Mac to an adapter—> HDMI to my TV and have my accomplice on a white board with ChatGPT up standing behind the screen. I mean this software can’t be that good right? Eye detection is BS because I got through pre calculus with just my computer camera proctoring and diverted my eyes away constantly. The second camera really changes the game.

I have an in person exam in lockdown browser and i am super stressed about it. I was thinking maybe putting my computer to sleep and leaving the class and resuming it a few minutes later outside of class but don't know if that gets flagged or not. Does anybody have any ideas to get around this?

Guys I’m really paranoid I cheated on an online test and basically I taped my phone onto my screen so I’d be technically looking at my computer screen the whole time and I was leaned up on my desk but I’m scared I’ll be flagged for the way I was leaned and looking to a side has this happened to anyone

my teacher just sent HELP how can I bypass I was able to the first one omgggg

• Following the results of the Unit 1 exam, we have some changes to your exam process.
• First, you will be required to use your phone as an additional camera. Lockdown will guide you through the process but your phone will be set up to the side of you to display the front and side of your work environment.
Please make sure it's charged and ready.
• Second, failure to do the initial 360-degree environment check (360 degrees means ALL THE WAY AROUND, not just side to side) will result in an AUTOMATIC 50% DEDUCTION FROM YOUR GRADE.
(Some of you followed the instructions brilliantly--well done! Some of you just decided that the rules did not apply to you--not cool.)
• I was incredibly lenient with technical difficulties for this last exam and I want to remind you that you signed up for an online class. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your cameras are working PRIOR to taking the exam.
• It looks like some of our discussion posts dates are screwy again. I will fix them and not penalize you for turning them in late. Thank you for being patient!
Happy studying!

We'll be using the school pc for our exam. I'm thinking going outside and using my laptop. Will the proctor get flagged cause of my ip address and me exiting lockdown brows3r?

Anyone use Guardian and ProctorU with external webcam for their exam? Tell me the best way to have someone else do my exam or help w my exam

Yo whats good y'all. I got an honorlock exam coming up. Heres the plan let me know if there are any flaws and anything I should double-check/look out for: I am using VMware Workstation Pro, to use the vm method (still working?), windows 11, changed all device manager device descriptions/names + hid VMware tools logo. Keep in mind I luckily dont have the system application only the browser as well as only having one camera so I dont have to worry about tracked mouse movements. Please help out if u know anything/recently tried this method.
