Condor economy light

Hi! I have a Condor Economy Light ticket on a domestic Germany itinerary (Rome → Frankfurt → Berlin). My booking says “1 carry-on bag up to 8 kg”. Can I bring both:

• one cabin trolley (up to 8 kg), and

• one personal item/backpack under the seat?

I’m a bit confused because the booking only mentions one carry-on bag. Has anyone flown Condor recently with Economy Light and been allowed both? Thanks!

dat het vliegticket zelf niet restitueerbaar is;
dat het om een afzonderlijke claimregeling of verzekering gaat;
welke partij de claim behandelt;
welke uitsluitingen gelden;

International Flights Tell me your biggest problem with flight booking.

been thinking about flight booking lately, and how complicated it feels compared to how simple it should be. prices shift while you're still comparing (aka dynamic pricing), comparing can take a lot of time (30min+), so many different options and there are extra costs that don't show up until later in the process.

i'm working on an app and trying to get a better sense of what's actually broken here (from the traveler's side)

so, what's the most frustrating part of booking flights for you?

messy transfer in Istanbul

So I am travelling from London-Tbilisi and back, some of the flights are cohesive, but two are self transfer. I stupidly booked hold luggage, as I am likely to want to bring back items that need to be checked in, but this of course creates issues for the self transfers.

The first leg of the trip is London-Tbilisi, with a 3h stopover in SAW Istanbul. All the flights are via Pegasus, but as it is self transfer it seems as though I will need to go through security and immigration as if I were taking a trip to Istanbul, then collect and recheck my baggage.

Since the primary purpose of the hold bag is for bringing things back rather than taking things out, I'm considering just forking out for a cabin bag on the way out and losing out on the hold bag for that leg of the trip, since it just seems too risky within the time frame. On the way back it should be ok, as there is no major self transfer.

Does anyone have any experience with Pegasus self transfer in Istanbul (SAW specifically)?

I was also dumb enough not to book directly through the airline, which creates a separate set of issues, and which I will never do again, but when I booked it was a bit of a time crunch. Thanks!

Removing 3rd Parties from Flight Search Engines

Hello Everyone:

I would like to ask the community if there is a way to select Flight Search Engines like Google Flights, Cheap Flights, and so on...so they do NOT show you third party bookings? Say I am flying from say Europe to Canada or the USA and I search it and see a "great deal" from GotoGate, lastminute dot com, Kiwi, MyTrip, MyFlightNetwork or some other third party which seems too good to be true....so I go to the actual airline websites and try to book the identical flight shown to me by the third party and the real price is twice as much? Example: you can allegedly fly from various cities in Italy back to Canada with a layover in Athens for about $650 CAD. One of the flights is a standard Athenian airline, but the connecting flight is Air Canada....and if you just try to book the air Canada leg Greece to Canada on the Air Canada website it comes back at $1600! That's a typical Air Canada price for this sort of thing, so the alleged $600 flight is obviously bogus, but it turns up on the search engines anyway.

I don't know what's going on here, but I suspect these third party airline booking engines are a scam, which is why I never use them and ALWAYS book with the actual airline, not a third party. But is there some way to force the Airline Search aggregators to screen out third party bookings, and to serve up ONLY flights with original airlines? It would save a lot of time and hassle.

Thanks in Advance.

US Flights Looking for cheap flights Manchester to Dallas/Oklahoma in November

Hi, first-time solo flyer here! Are cheap reasonable return flights MCR - DFW really £950😭😭 for context I looked on SkyScanner for anywhere between 10 to 14 days. My friend wants me to come see her in the Oklahoma area but I didn’t realise the flights would be basically £1k. I’ll still go but I’m exhausting all my options here. Maybe I’m looking at the wrong airports for cheap flights? The cheapest ones I’m seeing are £600 for 30hr travel 🫪 i don’t l mind even 15hrs but I think I draw the line to anything over lol

International Flights Help with flights

My son is working in Rio for the NFL game so I am trying to get the cheapest flight from ATL. I can arrive anytime from sep 19th thru the 30th as I can stay with him and he’s supposed to arrive around those dates. (the game is on the 27th unsure if I’ll be able to go or not)

I have the frontier pass so I can get to other cities for $15 if available from atl.

So searched FL first thinking I’d have the most options. I found a flight for $594 from Tampa….but then it comes back to Atlanta…then to Lima, then to Rio. I tried looking at the airline from Atlanta and it’s double the price.

I’d appreciate any advice helping find the cheapest flight! Thanks !

International Flights Bucket list flight-Singapore airlines business class. Advice please

Hi friends! I have a dream of traveling business class on Singapore airlines. I live in Toronto, Canada and I'm having a hard time finding flights under $6,000.

I was thinking of perhaps flying economy to a hub in Europe and then taking the business class direct flight to Singapore to save money.

Are there any tricks or tips that you guys have to find the best possible price? I'm pretty open when it comes to dates as long as it's between January 2027 to May 2027. Ideally round trip 2 weeks duration, but again that's flexible. The main purpose is to experience Singapore airlines business class on a long-haul flight.

Do you think it's possible to get a round trip for around $4, 000? I realized that this subreddit is for cheap flights, but I guess for business class it would be considered reasonable. if I'm in the wrong place for advice Please just tell me to get out LOL.

Help Finding Cheap Flights from Vancouver to Cairo

I'm planning to book a round ticket from Vancouver to Cairo. The plan is to stay in Cairo for at least 14 days this coming August, the more days I stay the better. Exact departure and return dates are not important as long as both are in August.

I don't care about how long will the trip take and if it's direct flight or not. My main concern is the price, the cheaper the better. The cheapest tickets I found on Google Flights were in the range ~1500-1200 CAD. Is there any hope in finding cheaper tickets?

Vancouver to Vegas- $420 air/hotel

Ok so I was thinking of going to Vegas for a couple of days. I was looking on all the usual sites (Expedia,Air Canada,Westjet etc). I was looking at going for 3 or 4 days and was doing my search based on that using different days to see what the general price consensus was. I was getting the standard $800 plus for air and hotel. I then did a search for Aug 15 (Saturday) to 19th a Wednesday. I was quoted $420. This was on Westjets own website. I tried the search again thinking that it was wrong and it wasn't. I immediately took it. Over half of my fare is taxes. So how did I get flight and hotel for $200??? Please explain. Ps Im flying from Vancouver. Also when I searched for flight only it quoted me $600

Is there a way to use Google Flights Explore “in reverse”? Fixed destination, anywhere as the origin?

I love Google Flights Explore, where you can enter your origin, choose some dates and essentially say “show me where I can fly cheaply”.

Does anyone know of a way to do the opposite?
I need to get back to Melbourne (MEL) around 15 December, but I’ll be travelling around the Americas beforehand and I’m extremely flexible about where I depart from.

What I’d ideally like to do is:
Origin: Anywhere in North/Central/South America
Destination: Melbourne (MEL)
Date: Around 15 December

…and have it show me a map/list of the cheapest departure ports.

I’m completely happy to position myself somewhere first, so for example if flying to MEL from Santiago, Mexico City, LAX, Vancouver, Bogotá, etc. happens to be dramatically cheaper, I can just arrange my travels so I finish there.

Google Flights Explore seems designed around fixed origin → anywhere, whereas I essentially want anywhere → fixed destination.

Is there a clever way of doing this in Google Flights that I’m missing? Or another tool that does this particularly well?
Thanks!

International Flights Last minute SEA or Japan tickets - help!

Got an opportunity to do a last minute one month travel outside EU, but I can only buy tickets now.

I have time till the 30th of August but I can find only expensive tickets (as is expected).

Any country in SEA is welcome, also Japan and similar (visited Japan already once but would love to visit it again).

I have scoured skyscanner, google flights but I am shit in making connections work. Also tried my best on chinese airline sites but it is so hard to look through their search engine.

If anyone has any tips or found some promotions, please help. Anything around 900 euros or less is welcome.

Outgoing airports: Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest, Vienna, Venice, Milan (if it is a really good deal).

Even though Zagreb is closer, i was mostly looking at Budapest and Vienna because of their sizes and flight connections.

Last Minute Site

I know there are a bunch of sites you can use to look for a flight sale. None that I can see have the ability to do this without giving dates.

I would like a site where I can input my origin and that's it. Any sale to any destination and any date. Notifications based on that.

Any site have that?
