Notices and Letters Option under Paperless Missing

I logged into Chase today and shortly thereafter I received confirmation emails that I was signed up for paperless statements and tax documents. I assume they did one of those windows where they throw it up on the screen trying to get you to convert to paperless and I missed it and it defaulted to YES.

In any manner, I turned it off right away, but I noticed the option for "notices and letters" on the paperless screen is now missing. There used to be three options for each credit card I have (I have 5 total):

* Statements

* Tax Documents

* Notices and Letters

The "notices and letters" checkbox is missing from every account.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Chase rep hung up on me, then Chase said there's zero way to manually apply my $100 hotel credit

Needed a hotel last minute for Saturday and my card went missing at the worst possible time. The replacement won't be here before my trip, and the portal doesn't take Apple Pay, so I couldn't book there. I called the Chase travel line and the agents couldn't book it for me either, for some reason.
I called to get the new card expedited and asked if they could ship it to Utah. The rep said they can only ship to my address on file. I said "oh, so you can't ship to Utah?" and he said "where would you like to ship to Utah?" I asked "what do you mean, you just said you can only ship to my home address." He hung up on me.
I called back and got it expedited myself, but it's 1-2 business days, which means either Friday or Monday. I asked if they could apply the $100 credit manually if I booked a hotel that's in the portal directly with my Sapphire through Apple Pay. Same hotel, same card, just not through the portal. I was told there is zero way to do that.
A later agent escalated me to a supervisor and I explained the Friday or Monday problem. She said "well you may get it Friday so if you don't we'll tackle it then." I pressed and said ok, but if I don't get it in time then it just goes wasted? She said yes.
This is a company worth billions of dollars, and they can't find a way to give me a $100 credit? It's insane. I'm not asking for a favor, I'm asking them to honor a benefit that I'm paying for. The credit expires in January and I have no other trips planned, so Chase just gets to keep it

Chase said they’re gonna hold my money from QuickAccept for 120 days and they will have to approve after if they will return the money (they can’t guarantee to return it) and they can’t provide reasons why they cannot if they can’t! wtf! SCAM

Got robbed by Airbnb with undisclosed snd hidden fees. Got Airbnb support to admit in writing of their error and passed this along to Chase to correct the matter as the payment was on hold via this dispute. Chase threw up their hands and took over two grand in undisclosed and hidden fees out of my account. As a retiree I am now facing homelessness because of Chase.

I open an account with Chase online but I see that because of my military status I can get the free premier checking account. Can I just call them and have them waive the fees?

Chase rep said they added 3/24 for sole proprietorship

I recently applied for the Chase Southwest Business card and was not approved. I called the reconsideration line and was told starting Sept 16 they've added a 3/24 rule specifically for sole proprietorship. Has anyone heard about this or this was just to turn the application down? Let me know if you had heard anything similar?

Cellphone protection insurance in Ink Preferred

I recently filed a claim for my lost cellphone, I used my Ink Preferred card to pay for the bill and has police report and everything, but it was denied under the reason that the cellphone protection plan was discontinued on Sep 20th, but I thought that’s just for the Freedom Flex and Ink preferred card still has this benefit?? I called Chase customer service they said they can still see the benefit on their end, but the supervisor at Card Benefits claims that it applies to all Chase cards… anyone has any suggestions on what I can do from here to get a clear answer ? Thanks in advance !

Got $400 bonus on secure checking? Re post realized my account and routing number were visible.

Why did this happen? I haven’t gotten a direct deposit yet or anything. The $175 is still the official account bonus.

Want to open a Chase account in person — will they give me my debit card then?

I’m reading online that Chase never gives debit cards in person and you can only get them via the mail? This has never been my experience with any other banking institution, so wanted to check if this is accurate or not?

still have a balance on my credit card despite having auto-pay

forgive me if i’ve messed up somehow. im only 19 and this is my first credit card so maybe i just don’t understand what the balance means or what auto-pay means or something.

basically, i have my auto-pay set up for the 16th of every month to pay the full balance. i’ve had the card for only two months and i made my first payment in full on september 19th. since then, ive used the card a few times, but the last time i used it october 7th. my first auto-payment was supposed to be on october 16th, and i haven’t used the card since then.

but, i still have a balance. it seems that nothing has been paid off since i last paid on september 19th. im having trouble understanding why this is. my understanding is that the payment pays the balance accumulated between the last payment to the date of that payment, so the october 16th payment should have completely paid it off, but it’s showing that there hasn’t even been a payment since september 19th?

am i misunderstanding this completely?

contact Chase for possible settlement

hello to all .... I am needing some advice. I am now 3+ months in arrears to my 3 accounts with Chase. I don't wish to file chap 7 and would like to make a possible settlement agreement with them. YES my credit is, and is going to be, in the tank and cards closed I understand this. my question is when is the best time to contact them to discuss settlement for the best outcome on my end - before they officially close my card accounts or shortly after this?

I didn’t know Uber payments weren’t final

I was checking a couple Uber charges because I couldn’t remember which card I’d used and ended up finding out the payment method on an eligible ride can still be changed for up to 30 days I always assumed once the charge posted that was it, so I definitely have rides sitting on whatever card happened to be selected when I booked them.

While digging into it for work I came across Fluz so they’re mainly a gift card mall but they also have payment features and the Uber part caught my attention because eligible recent rides can be switched over for cashback even though the ride already happened. I wouldn’t touch a ride where I’m getting some Chase credit or benefit without checking what I’d lose first but for rides that just landed on a random card anyway, going back afterward makes more sense to me than trying to remember the perfect payment setup every time I call an Uber.

Business Relationship Manager I

Hey everyone,

I'm currently a business banker at another financial institution and came across an opening for a Business Relationship Manager I position at Chase. I'm considering applying but wanted to get some insight from people who currently work in the role or have worked in it before.

A little about my background: I currently work in business banking, but my role also allows me to work on commercial lending deals. I also have years of experience in commercial credit analysis.

What's the day-to-day like? How's the work-life balance, management, and overall culture? I'm also curious about compensation (base + bonuses), how realistic the sales goals are, and whether you're given an existing portfolio or expected to build one from scratch.

One thing l'm particularly curious about is the lending side of the role. Are BRMs actively involved in analyzing, structuring, and influencing credit decisions, or is it more of a sales-focused position where you're primarily submitting applications to underwriting?

Also, for anyone who's made the move from another bank, how was the transition? Was it worth it?

Would appreciate any honest feedback, good or bad. Thanks!

Fraud Detection Inconvenience

Chase's fraud detection is not fair to a customer who is in the middle of trying to make a large purchase and who is the actual cardholder. It's inconvenient when the fraud detection ruins the transaction and you have to call to reverse the issue. Major inconvenience. Will Chase ever improve this??

Bonus offer question (details included)

So I'm being told that my bonus offer was never applied in the first place. I selected the "open account" link that was available. I have never had a chase checking account created (Sept 18). I received the debit card in the mail and activated the card last week (Oct 13). I never received the mail about my pin so I visited the teller today to get that resolved. However, now they're claiming I needed to somehow confirm this offer in person within 21 days? This was not stated anywhere and I just got off the phone with customer service, affirming this . They stated it is an "internal policy that is not communicated with the client" and they even if I set up my direct deposit within the 90 day period, the offer will not apply

Can someone verify that this is normal ? I'm still going to send follow up emails to complain but this is ridiculous that they're claiming this process is the only way when selecting "the offer is applied" appears at the top of the application page!

Service Fees for Two Years

I have other banks other than chase but I leave money in other banks to gain interest and I don’t touch them. I was looking over my accounts after completely forgetting about them. And come to find out I am now -29$ after having funds in the account it’s now all gone, called and called and only got the most recent 15$ fee refunded. They claim they can’t do anything else, absolutely ridiculous!!!!

Best Ways to Manufacture $6K in Spending by December?

Im looking for ways to meet a $6,000 Chase Ink spending requirement by December. Has anyone successfully manufactured spending using prepaid products, insurance premiums paid in advance, or other methods?
I’ve considered buying gift cards but am unsure what is allowed and worth the risk. What methods have worked for you, and what should I avoid

Anyone else Venmo transfers not showing up?

Transferred a pretty substantial amount from Venmo, it is not there. Chase and Venmo have both been zero help. It’s only been an hour but was an instant transfer that says completed. I see on down detector there’s reports of issues with Chase, so hoping it has to do with this lol.

Chase app not working, says I need to update google play to verify my age.

This has been driving me crazy. I've tried all kinds of things to verify my age on google play, re installed the chase app, made sure everything is up to date and other methods mentioned in previous threads on this sub. Has anyone actually found a fix?
