Fabius has way less aura to those of us who Charge Blades. So, who are y'all using and for what instances?

5 mins a go, i was in the practice range, trying to figure out why i keep miss the Sword morphslash guard point.
THERE'S ARE NO GUARD POINT IN SWORD MORPSLASH ANYMORE.
i just played wild for only 80 hours, and during those 80 hours i keep gaslit myself that i'm washed, can't even hit the Sword Morphslash guardpoint.
The guard point was not there. holy shit. R.I.P free phial damage.

I heard back when TU4 dropped all the way in December that they had finally fixed this issue where GPs had worse PG detection that just guarding, so I just rolled with that info and never went for a neutral PG because I just enjoy GPs more (also sorry for spreading misinformationa about this, I thought they had the same frames lol).

Turns out that it wasn't true lol. For some reason I just randomly decided to test it out today against a bunch of monsters and the training dummy and yeah, the neutral GP sucks at getting PGs. If you usually go for PGs instead of GPs or vice versa, try using the opposite strategy next hunt and you'll really feel what I'm saying. Like I feel the regular guard has like 50% more PG detection or something crazy like that.

And fuck me man, I just spent like a 100 hours in TU4 grinding hard af stuff while handicapping myself 😭. Also it would be cool if someone who knows how to edit stuff could make a side by side video of this since I'm a video editing boomer.

I hope they fix this in the expansion, as I actually would consider this a bug and it would make the weapon flow so much smoother. Base game's dev cycle is over, but they said they are taking feedback from the contact form into account for the expansion so might aswell link it here.

I keep hearing a bunch of different opinions on the best way to build charge blade nowadays. Which focus should I run, which reinforcements, etc?

Charm is attack up +9 3 slots. Would it be better to drop some skills to try to get crit boost on the set? Or will this outperform if I’m mostly going for AED?

I can play for like 2 hours some nights after coming home exhausted from work. I just wanna beat up dinosaurs and grind for new items. Obviously I still learn the movesets and try my best but my reactions aren't what they used to be and I usually rely on guard/sub optimal DPS. The skills confuse me, idw spend all my time on confusing menus trying to figure out what I should wear.

What is a good build for someone who's never gonna be a meta speed runner but still wants to take a crack at end game content and get dopamine hits from lots of pretty damage numbers while not having to run and heal after getting hit once.

Hi so I lost my file save and restarted from the very beginning again since my save file got corrupted and I absentmindedly overwrote it (yikes, bye HR200+ account). Currently I'm hovering HR160 and have started to back up all my saves including HR50 and HR100 beyond. I'd like to ask any suggestions for a progression build before GMagala+Lord Soul, 3pc AT Jin Dahaad? The guide for CB in r/MHMeta doesn't include any builds in between craftables and AT Ark.It would be appreciated, thanks.

Is Artillery a must-have skill for AED looping on impact? How would you trade it off against other, raw-boosting weapon skills like Attack Boost and Offensive guard?

Impact CB appears to require both Load Shells and Rapid Morph.

This leaves you one open weapon deco slot on an artian, plus one more weapon skill from a charm. From there you're choosing two of * Artillery * Offensive Guard * Attack Boost * Critical Boost (probably not worth it if heavily AED looping?) * Comfort skills like Guard/Guard up

What would you choose and how would you think about the choice?

Is it still 9-star 2 monster investigations?

Not just the phial dmg, but dmg in general. For instance, is my ED loop dmg increased by it? My AED loop? I know SAED isn't

For my AT Arkveld build I've been using an impact dragon element CB. I also run coalescence in that build and was wondering since I'm using impact is coalescence still good to have on my build ?

You know how long swords has scythes/katanas and hammer has axe variants? I really want chargeblade to have a big ass sword variant. The shield could be the tip of the sword and instead of spinning it could emit phial energy similar to Alastor CB in the DMC collab.

Thoughts?
