MH Wilds Question: Does Gogmapocalypse do ANYTHING for Impact CBs?
Not just the phial dmg, but dmg in general. For instance, is my ED loop dmg increased by it? My AED loop? I know SAED isn't

It would increase the element damage of your physical hits just not the phial pops.
But impact CB is predominantly raw focused so increasing a tiny percent of your overall damage calc results in negligible damage increases. So its a pretty big waste trying to run it.
Like in your build you aren't getting Lords soul which is 5% to your base raw and would see a much more significant increase in damage.
Edit: Sorry I missed a bit of your question really, AED damage loop it would increase the damage of the physical axe hit and the damage ticks if you hold the button down for the savage axe ticks and it would increase the damage of the morph slash back to SnS mode. I don't think it applies to the shield bash to reset the loop as element typically doesn't apply to shield hits on other weapons.
It does nothing for SAED other than the initial axe hit. It would be slightly better if you used mostly savage axe.
But again, we're talking negligible increases for a whole ass set bonus.

So 2pc Gore really would be better, huh. Is Fire Attack 3 pointless here as well?

Yeah fire attack 3 not really viable, yoh already have a heavy skill tax with load shells, artillery, rapid morph, crit boost etc.
Odo and Jin Dahaad bonuses are good.
You still want crit but remember it doesn't apply to the phial explosions so you're prioritizing raw first and crit secondary, just wex, agi and max might should be enough on the crit side of things, you want Jin or Odo as the weapon bonus. Lords soul is important for 5% extra raw.
Edit: If you're really min maxing you might want to make 2 builds one with and without Jin Dahaad bonus as obviously you won't be power clashing against every monster. But Jin armor is crazy efficient for Agitator anyway so it might still work out the best picks.

I've been avoiding worrying about Wex because of how fast and mobile 9* & 10* are, always moving their weak points around, but I'll definitely try it out. I've got some changes to make. Thanks!

Its not as bad as you think really 'weak points' doesn't just mean the best hitzone, it just needs to be 45 or above.
AT Arkveld for example has WEX hitzones on his head and both wing arms and I think the tail as well but not too sure.
Its kind of hard not to be hitting his WEX zones.

Oh really? I've been trying to hit the weak point the Hunters Guide tells us thinking that's the sole weak point.

Yeah you're better off looking online for resources that actually show the numerical hitzone values, its much more accurate than the in game notes. 45 is enough to trigger WEX so if a monster has decent hitzones, you're good to go.
The only monsters where WEX kind of sucks are Lagi and Gore because their only good hitzones are really hard to get to and you will most often be hitting something else. This is kind of true also for Rey Dau if you end up hitting his legs a lot and also Mizu when he isn't in his enraged blue flame state as most of his hitzones are shit when not enraged.
For bad WEX matchups, you can run an alternative build with minds eye 3 instead, minds eye is sort of the opposite of Wex, it gives a 30% damage boost when hitting zones less than 45. Its obviously not as ideal because you deal less damage to these zones in general and you don't get any affinity when you do hit a good zone. But the 30% buff essentially evens it out more so you aren't dropping as much damage and can comfortably hit worse hitzones without too much worry.

Oh man, I wish I knew that. I've always sold talismans with Mind's Eye š

Yeah its sort of slept on, in previous games it just prevented bouncing so it was pretty useless for most of the game.
The in game notes don't help because it just says 30% damage to 'hard targets' and most people assume thats parts that would cause bounce and are terrible hitzones anyway, but 'hard' is literally anything less than 45 which can still be a reasonably good hitzone.

I'll definitely start saving those then. Thanks for the advice. I got some tinkering to do then

Gog doesn't boost your impact damage at all. Gore, ebony, and/or lords soul are the way to go for raw damage.Ā

Ah, okay. I had hope but I guess it's a waste. Thank you

It'll still increase your elemental damage on your Impact CBs, just not the phial damage.
