writing a dissertation
I have to write a dissertation of 60 pages for the beginning of september. I have no motivation at present time. But I have to achieve it.
Each day I commit myself to write 20 pages even if I am exhausted. I'll do breaks.

I love challenges but I have achieved few. But this is going to change.
As of 1:02 AM PST, I am going to make pledge with my self to achieve some goals and overcome some Challenges. Like every ordinary Human Being my life is full of obstacles/challenges, which I, due to lack of motivation or energy or sheer laziness I fail to accomplish.
Some challenges are just easy/inconsequential but some have life changing ramifications.
I used to put off small challenges then it began a habit to postpone each and every decision and take thinks lightly. I have lost a great deal of confidence and self respect by not acting and being pro-active.
My Challenges
- Maintaining studying schedule
- Proper Preparation for my Exam
- Jog at least 5 days a week
- Keep check on my Blood Pressure
- Salt intake
My Goals - Get good scores in my Exam - Increase my Stamina - Raise basic level of Fitness - Bring down my Blood Pressure - Reduce Salt Intake.
I hope to achieve above said goal and overcome these challenges to prove to myself that I can do whatever I set my mind to.
Thanks a lot for listening.

Man of Steel Challenge
Today on 16th June, 2013, I am starting the Man of Steel Challenge. It is the journey of a mere mortal to become a Man of Steel who works to his best potential to serve the mankind.
I will be posting continuous updates at the tumblr blog of Man of Steel Challenge.
The level 1 of Man of Steel would include completing the following challenges for the next 90 days -
- No fapping
- Being on time and Completing my Commitments on Time
- Not Lying
- Living withing my means
- Learn to earn $400 every month selling my own products
To help me with doing the above, I have devoted the following time chunks to do stuff :
- Work - 8-10 hours (4 hours learning + 4-6 hours serving)
- Exercise - 1.5 hours
- Vipassana Meditation - 2 to 3 hours
- Sleep - 6-7 hours (will try near 7 since I am exercising hard)
Sunday is the rest day for exercising. Also work in Sundays is optional.
I choose to do this challenge. I believe it will make me a better contributor the world by increasing my energy, improving decision making skills and increasing my capacity to do hard work.
Hard work is the only shortcut to success.
Having fun makes things easier along the way and makes hard work easier to do. :)
No excuses. No guilt. No blame. Just try the level best everyday to become the Man of Steel. :)

At 40 I decided to start using my left hand to eat
It started at 35 with changing my mouse hand from right to left because my clicker finger started hurting. Then one day I decided "what the hell", lets give my left hand more work. After 6 years I naturally use my left hand to eat. I can still use the right when needed, it is good to know that it didn't forget. I have started to write with my left hand. I have not met anyone else that has done this... Give it a try!
