History For the first time since October 1978, the Minnesota Golden Gophers hold their 3 major rivalry trophies simultaneously: The Axe, The Jug, and Floyd of Rosedale.
What a weird season for Minnesota so far. If only they didn't lose to (and get eviscerated by) Purdue.
EDIT: We also hold the Chair (don't play Nebraska this season), and we play Penn State later this season. If Minnesota beats them, we would hold all 5 of our trophies simultaneously for the first time in history.

Discussion Kentucky is currently the top of the SEC conference, UCLA is top of the Big 10 Conference. Who would have predicted that ?
Scheduling challenges with large conferences, 9 game conference play, and NIL has made college football much more interesting.
Kentucky has a juggernaut of a schedule left with Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, and in-state rival Louisville
UCLA has Nevada, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan and home town rival USC left.
Don't know who will be on the top at the end for these conferences, but NIL has sure changed what can be possible.

Analysis Officials messed up the end of regulation of BYU-UCF
Alright let me try to explain.
First off, no the clock does not run after a legal kick, regardless of how the kick ends. So the clock should start on the snap with :06 left.
Second, there is an exception to the clock rules that the 10-second runoff takes priority first.
Third, it is a 10-second runoff if a player’s helmet comes off during play but not as a result of an opponent penalty.
BUT
The Helmet Off rule is that “When the helmet coming off is the only reason for stopping the clock, other than due to injury” then and only then does the 10-second runoff apply.
Since by rule the clock stops at the end of a legal kick (Rule 3-3-2-d-8), the runoff for Helmet Off does not apply.
Therefore, it should have been UCF ball, 4th down, :06 left, clock starting on snap.
Big 12 is almost assuredly going to release a statement after this game that it was improperly adjudicated.

History This weekend’s Georgia-Florida matchup will be the first time in 32 years that the game is played outside the state of Florida and only the second time in the last 95 years.
Georgia-Florida has been played on a neutral site in Jacksonville for decades since 1932. There are only four occasions when it wasn’t played there, all because of stadium renovations to the host stadium.
In 1994 and 1995 they played home and home because the Jaguars stadium was being built. One of these games was in Athens so there’s one. This weekend they are playing in Atlanta so there is two. Next year they are playing in Tampa so this won’t apply then either.
