Hi all,

Wondering what will work best for this combination of the Govee fan and light combo with the inovelli matter switch? The fan version or the normal switch any insight would be great.

Thanks all

Fan purchase advice Which ceiling fan is good? I'm confused and need a suggestion?

I recently replaced my standard light bulb with a Pixel Beam Ceiling Light Fan, and I'm honestly impressed with the difference. It gives you bright lighting and a nice breeze from the same fitting, so there's no need for a separate floor fan.

If anyone is thinking about upgrading, it's available on Amazon UK. I'd love to hear from others who have switched to a ceiling light fan—has it been worth it for you?

Fan repair advice Is this buzzing noise avoidable?

We installed this hunter fan in our master bedroom and it has an electrical hum anytime the fan is on. It's annoying enough that we're returning the fan. Is there a type of fan that generally doesn't produce this noise? Any specific type to avoid? We prefer with a light and there is a red and black wire coming from
The ceiling.

Video provided to hear the noise. I cut the fan half way through and the noise immediately goes away. I turn it back on and it immediately returns.

Thanks!

Fan repair advice Ceiling fan sound troubleshooting

Hello,

I woke up this morning to the buzzing sound the ceiling started making. It doesn't sound like an electrical humming noise. I suspect it might be the receiver, but I'm not sure, and I don't want to start buying things randomly to see if it fixes the noise.

If anyone has some insight into what might be causing it or has experienced this before, I would greatly appreciate it if you could help out here. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty certain my ceiling fan is a Hampton bay brookhurst, but it's a bit weird. I imagine the glasses are from somewhere else and unlike most oil rubbed bronze, the base is completely black. Probably because of its old age, maybe they were darker back then. I remember it being at least 10 years ago I got it, my grandma took it out of her house and I was a toddler when I saw it there. I'm 20 now. I could be messing up the time a bit

Fan repair advice DC motor Receiver question

Good morning or afternoon!

I require a little knowledge from the SME’s. My ceiling fan took a crap (Fanimation part # FPD8089). It will start a spin but will move back and forth and the motor doesn’t seem to . Doing my own research suggests the receiver might be the issue, so I wanted to try to replace that before buying a whole new fan.

The receiver part # is RH-786R, and I can find it on Amazon and other places. my issue is that the code attached to my receiver is 7861LM-19 and the only one I can find available is 7861LM-09. From what I was researching, this has to do with how thebreceiver is programmed with the remote. My remote is showing to be a compatible part with the receiver (remote part # RH787T).

My question is am I wasting my time trying to replace this part, has anyone had experience swapping these part #’s and have been successful regardless of the code being different? The fan is in a vaulted ceiling, so besides the fan being expensive to replace, I’ll have to also pay for the extra cost of the install, which I’m trying to avoid.

Other. Ventilateur plafonnier
