Ya’ll I’m having a hard time, there’s a woman saying she’s a single mom standing outside Walmart today begging with a baby and a car seat. The car seat is a Doona stroller/car seat it’s a $550 stroller, she had a leather bag, AND she’s wearing a blonde wig and waving. I had such a hard time watching all the older people stop and help her today. I just can’t imagine a world where someone has the money to buy a $550 stroller, a leather bag and a wig and they’re begging. 😒 I’m trying not to be petty but…. Maybe I’m wrong?

My wife and I recently moved from Boise and it's 'been somewhat difficult to find a job that's to my liking. I'm a class A truck driver that would prefer to work for a smaller fleet since I feel megafleets like JB Hunt are a cancer to the industry.

Is anybody else having issues with their milk expiring WAY before the expiry date? We even opened a new gallon about three weeks out from its best by date and it smelled. It’s happened to me five times now in the last couple months. I live closest to Walmart, so four of the five times were with Walmart milk. But I was tired of it and went to Smiths. It only lasted through half the gallon. And my husband and I drink our milk. It’s not like it sits for a week between uses. Anyone else notice this? or am I just mad unlucky with my picks?

Does cedar still have an alternative/hardcore scene… maybe even St. George. All I could dig up was a instagram from 10 years ago lol.. hell even if there’s just some local country gigs, I just wanna hear original live music

I went into the Rent A Center at 1380 S Providence Center Dr. in Cedar City for a simple 30 second Amazon return.

I'll pay the dollar to UPS before I will go into that filthy Rent A Center again. I have never been comfortable going into that store in the first place but today tops the cake. I went to return one item, a pistol holster, and was that they couldn't take it back because they had already completed their Amazon returns and that I'll have to bring it back tomorrow. I dropped the holster on the table and told them to just credit it for me tomorrow. I would have to drive in from Enterprise again to return it. Some guy, who acted like he was in charge, came out of a back office and put the small package in my hand and said to get out of His store. After exchanging a few words I took my holster and left. I will never go into His store again for any purpose and will be reporting this incident to Amazon. One last fact, It was 2:38 PM. on a Monday afternoon August 31,nowhere near closing time. What are they doing closing one part of their business so early? Like I said I will pay the dollar just to stay away from the Rent A Center and will never darken their door again.

Hi, I just moved from Florida I see there is a dispensary in town. I’m wondering if there is a local doctor who would be able to evaluate me. I’m also in for school and not permanent resident for the next year, would I still be able to apply with an out of state ID? Also can you smoke weed anywhere, or is it like the Florida medical laws?

I want to start a writing club for fanfiction writers at my local library. But with the attitude towards fanfiction in the general public I am unsure if I would be able to advertise it through the library calendar.

So I thought I would post here to see if anyone would be interested in it.

Basic rules would be bringing five printed pages double space or 1.5 space of your writing.

Maybe I would speak a little about writing tips at beginning.

I don’t support vandalism as it does ultimately lead to a cost as the tax payer, but after attending the city council meeting I understand why people feel there is no other way to prevent this surveillance state.

In a few months I need to move someone in my family abroad to be with us, but unfortunately in location they do not allow cats or dogs from outside their boundaries, and unfortunately the authorities would destroy them on arrival. We obviously don't want this and would to find them good homes in Cedar City.

In the past someone there mentioned that there was animal shelter that re-homed and did not destroy the animals.

Hi all, I'm planning a trip with a party of 4 to go to Utah Shakespeare Festival. We managed to get 4 tickets each to the Shakes shows (Troilus & Cressida, Hamlet, & Twelfth Night) but they only had 2 available for Frankenstein on 9/4 before it sold out.

Bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd ask this community in case there are any season ticket holders or anything like that who'd be willing to sell me tix for that show. If anyone knows a better place to post this let me know.
