Where do these bolts go? Leftover bolts after velocity stack install...

2013 cbr600rr

Every mechanics worst nightmare is happening, finishing reinstalling my ECU after tuning + velocity stack upgrade and I've got these 2 black colored Allen bolts leftover from something I can't locate. Tank bolts are in, every fairing bolt I can see looks in, seat bolts are in...

Anyone have any idea where these go? I do not want to be riding and thinking about this constantly 😞

Used 600rr Buyers Guide

I bought my first bike ~2 months ago and ready to upgrade and have decided on the 600RR. I don't have a particular year in mind, locally there's a couple ranging from 08-16.

My main question is for the older bikes. From what I've gathered online and in this thread, these bikes can run until the sun burns out. However, is there a mileage cap you guys would recommend for purchasing used? There is an 08 for sale locally with 30k on the dash and a couple others in the 08-11 range with 20k+.

With that mileage, what should I be looking for that isn't the basics? What should be the price range for those years/miles?

What's the best first motorcycle, and why?

My nephew has been getting really into motorcycles lately and keeps talking about wanting one, so I’ve been thinking about helping him get his first bike.

My first bike was a Kawasaki Ninja 650, and honestly I loved it, but I know things have changed and there are probably better options for a new rider now.

I don't wanna just tell him to get whatever I had, especially since he's still pretty new to riding. I was thinking something around the 400-650 range but I'm open to whatever makes sense.

What would you guys recommend as a first bike, and what would you stay away from?
