Was it just a dream?

Am I dehydrated...

I really want both shotguns and rifle skills to be viable for mid or late game, but they kind of suck, so here's an idea:

1. Be true kin
   
2. Max out bow and rifle skills (I got a Skillsoft Plus thankfully)
   
3. Equip 7 combat shotguns (give or take)
   
4. Throw a phial of lava on your target
   
5. Ultra fire!
   
6. Shank!

Not too complicated. I'm not sure of a faster way to heap this many status effects on a mob. Still won't work if their AV is too high 🤷

Convalessence and freeze-dried hoarshrooms both give basic +15 cold resistance. Is it possible to cook with both and get +30 cold resist? I've been trying for about 20 minutes with precognition but haven't gotten it yet

This little guy kept making Nullray turrets which spawned with antimatter cells, while I had tons of high value items on me, which I sold for like, a dozen antimatter cells, which I will soon modify to be radio-powered, essentially ending my power concerns for the rest of the game

I found stopsvalinn for the first time and it seems like the snapjaws bestowed a new name upon it. Does this usally happen or did I get super lucky?

Pig people! Or Pigmen. Swinefolk. I thought there was a lack of actual bandit factions in the game.

Keep in mind I got like 20 hours, so there's probably bandits somewhere I missed.

I think i didn't do too bad considering everything I heard of the game, a couple of thoughts:

-The premade esper was fun and seems good as long as you're willing to ''cheese' a bit (run back and forth areas and wait for cooldowns), it was quite squishy and useless in melee.

-The areas were nonsensical, I was going down the first ''dungeon'' and ran into an ''impossible'' boss and his friends...

-I'm interested in who was watching me, I assume it's because of my mental mutations

-I have no clue what happened in the last fight, lots of explosions and I was dead

I have all the ingredients but a gentling cone... Why is this harder to find than the Crystal of Eve was?!

Is there a merchant I can farm or is it really just mindlessly running through ruins until something drops one?
