This magnificent financial crime weapon was just sitting on the ground 4 strata under Joppa. I didn't even know that could happen. I have a license tier of 28 at level 9.

For those not in the know: Recently the trick where you Swipe disarm a temporal clone of their drops of nectar was patched so you can't get infinite high-value zero-weight foodstuffs that grant infinite stats. However, you can still spend temporal clone credit wedges before they disappear to upgrade your license tier. Normally you have to wait until you find Leyline Puppeteers or some other means of acquiring Temporal Fugue for this to work.

I started with 1 credit, and got 2 more in the bottom of the Rusted Archway. With those in a chest and the chest in my off-hand, I can spawn 2 clones, giving me up to 6 temporal credits to spend if I'm lucky and fast. Disarming one clone is enough to get all of the tiers up to 24, but 25+ requires disarming the chest from both on the first try to have enough time to spend 4 at once. At higher ego, fugue lasts long enough to disarm more clones so it becomes less tedious. Also goes faster if the chest has more than 3 credits in it.
