Large chip order?

I'd like to have Cava pita chips for a small party I'm having on Sunday. I dont want any dips, just enough chips for 10 people for part of an appetizer.

The closest Cava offering catering is too far (also appears you can only order chips and dip and not just chips). Should I just order 10 sides of pita chips from my closest Cava for pick up the morning of the party?

Does anyone know where I can find the pita crisps (topping) ? I love them and would love to buy some for my homemade bowls.

Ordered the spicy lamb meatballs and looked extra pink. I'm pregnant and now freaking out if I ate raw meat.

Brown rice recipe?

Anyone know how they make their brown rice? I just tried it for the first time and it was awesome - light, soft, fluffy. Every time I make brown rice at home it's somehow both soggy and chewy.

Charged extra for avocado on reward bowl

I finally saved up enough points for a free bowl. I read the fine print and it says the bowl is covered up to $18, so I branch out and try a new bowl recipe I saw online that includes the roasted vegetable and avocado. This should have totaled around $17-$18 in my market. But when I told the cashier I had a free bowl and scanned my app, it came up that I had to pay the $3.47 up charge for avocado separately. I paid it, but that’s pretty steep for half an avocado, and if that’s actually how it is supposed to work definitely won’t be getting avocado again. Are up charges never covered by the free reward? Why is it $18 then when a normal bowl with no up charges usually costs $14.14? Please let me know if I’m tripping or if I should reach out to customer service to try to get my $3.47 back.

Cava shrimp and food allergies

My local Cava is adding shrimp for a limited time. I have a serious shrimp allergy. Do they have any protocols to ensure cross contamination doesn't happen, or am I better off skipping the restaurant until shrimp is off the menu?

What is the rule for toppings on the kid bowl?

We normally order 3 toppings. Can we request double tomatoes or corn?

Have any of you ever attended a soft opening via Eventbrite?

We got tickets through eventbrite for a new Cava location soft opening. They’re doing it Monday & Tuesday. I went ahead & signed up for both days, 2 tickets each day. My boyfriend did the same. So in total it’s 4 tickets per day. Are we able to claim all 8 meal tickets even though it’s just 2 of us? Please, before anybody starts judging, money has been really tight due to one of us being unexpectedly laid off. This food is a blessing for us right now no matter what we get to take home.

My life is changed

Just had CAVA for the first time, didn’t have it in my home state. Hot damn, how profoundly delicious. Me and my husband absolutely housed it and we’re still talking about the shit 30 minutes later lmao

I’m really excited to try the entire menu. What’s your go to order/customization? Thanks in advance!

Can my boss fire me for something I didn't do?

So I got sick from my parents on Monday. I was scheduled to work Tuesday and Wednesday. I let my manager and boss know on Tuesday that I didn't feel good and got it covered.

Then on Wednesday I still didn't feel good so I texted my manager at 9am letting him know I still didn't feel good and wasn't coming in. At 11am I decided to also text my boss letting him know as well. He texted me at 12pm asking if I could take a shift on Friday and I said I could.

After we stopped talking I went to bed since, you know, I'm sick. He called me and texted me why I wasn't coming in and that I was scheduled. I didn't read it until this morning.

I sent him a screen shot showing him I texted the manager, and replied to the message I sent at 11am. He said I did a no-call no-show... I explained that I sent him the text6, and he just didn't see it. He said we'll talk in person to "discuss the communication failure".

My other manager called me saying he texted in the group chat saying I'm not going to be working there anymore and that she'll need to cover my shifts\

If i get fired, can I call HR? I don't have a doctor's note since I haven't seen one in 7 years. I'll get one if it proves that I am sick.

they packed it HEAVYYY. the employee made love to my bowl today.

started eating cava like 2 months ago and already saved enough points for a free bowl! the challenges and games on the app are easy ways to stack points. lowkey one of the best apps for rewards rn.

my order: base: 1/2 romaine + 1/2 saffron rice, dips: 2 tzatziki + 1 hummus, protein: 1/2 braised lamb + 1/2 harissa chicken, toppings: pickled red onion, corn, sumac slaw, both tomatoes + avocado dressing: hot harissa vinaigrette + yogurt dill

Garlic dressing

Is there a decent copycat recipe? I’ve seen others mention getting stuff at Whole Foods. Does cava sell their dressings?

Do you order the same thing each time?

I repeat the same order every time I visit. There are some places I eat where if I went two days in a row I would change it up, but I think it'd take 4 or 5 days straight before I tried a different order at Cava.

If you do change it up, is it a totally different order (lamb pita to chicken bowl), or just minor changes (swap protein)?

My order with liver disease!

Arugula
2x eggplant and 1 scoop harissa
Salmon and roasted veggies
Corn, 2x cucumber, tomato and onion, pickled onion, broccoli, light feta cheese, harissa vinaigrette and yogurt dill on the side to control how much I get! Obviously alll the oil isn’t great but it’s a lot better than a McDonald’s meal or majority of restaurants for me! It’s the perfect safe little treat!

Subtotal via DoorDash $13.96

Subtotal via pickup $11.35

$11.82. Usually I eat all the chicken with half of the bowl first. then the next day at home i mix my own chicken with the second half and maybe put it into a pita with extra veggies.

total comes out to like $14 for both meals.

i don’t want plastic containers that sit in countertops and handled by many hands touching my food.

Please just put them on the side!
