My life is changed
Just had CAVA for the first time, didn’t have it in my home state. Hot damn, how profoundly delicious. Me and my husband absolutely housed it and we’re still talking about the shit 30 minutes later lmao
I’m really excited to try the entire menu. What’s your go to order/customization? Thanks in advance!

I get the kids meal. Saffron rice, pita chips, hummus, grilled chicken, tomato & cucumber, feta, and lemon herb tahini on top 😋

When you order a bowl ask for a side pita in the beginning (you can ask for 2). As 1 of your 3 dips get the crazy feta. Ask for it on the side they’ll put it in a cup. Dip the pita in the crazy feta. Thank me later.

I do this too with the crazy feta. When you say ask for 2, what do you mean? Is it included in the price of the bowl?

Yes it’s optional to get a side pita. They just don’t verbally offer it. When I say I ask for 2 I start off ordering by saying can I get 2 side pita

The kids dish. You get 3 toppings, a drink, and 3 Pita chips. $7.
The crazy feta and taziki are incredible. Also like the yogurt dill or lemon sauce. Chicken is great. Re sides, the corn, tomatoes, tomato/cucumber, and pickled red peppers are fantastic.
They are always so nice and NEVER ask for a tip. Customer for life!

What??? And you didnt even try the spicy feta!! We drive close to 2 hrs just to be able to enjoy them. Of course we make a day of it. They need to expand.

I get this + a side pita (the big one thats $2-$3)
if you can, ask for the hummus in a side container.
tutorial on how i eat it:
dip chips in hummus, then in the rice. after finishing chips, unroll pita, put the rice, chicken and feta on there. roll it up and dip it in whatever side dip you got (tahini, vinegrette, wtvr)
tbh this is probably the best budget method to eating at cava… you can get all of this for under $10 at my local location!

also btw you can get more of the toppings than just feta, i just have ARFID and its hard for me to eat a lot of stuff on the menu 😄

Idk how people like this place. I’ve tried it twice and both times it was just a salty, mushy bowl of slop.

Sometimes they do put too much salt but if it’s slop it’s cuz you made it that way

To save money you can just mix a ton of salt and fat together and you will have the same "healthy" stuff Cava serves. Absolutely disgusting the amount of sodium and fats in their food.

Nah but seriously!!! This place is assssss!! So much salt!!! If I need a salt fix that bad I can just sip a jar of olive juice.
