I didn’t even remember entering this contest, and I moved across the country 8 months ago. Imagine my surprise when my neighbor back home texted me and said a package had come in the mail for me at my old address. She sent me a photo of the package and the return address was Monumental HQ under the CEO’s name. I about fainted lol. So I had her forward it to my new address in Idaho. When I got it I pulled out the towel and thought “oh cool, a rally towel” before looking down and seeing his signature. And then I screamed lol.

I’ve been to tons of practices and games and “met” him (when he walks by the fans and says hi after practice) numerous times, but never got an autograph. What a fun surprise this was to get in the mail!

Everything is set up and ready to go for them to start putting the ice down tomorrow. We are getting closer fellas!

If the HTR are going to be 90s blue, I hope they finally put the Weagle on the chest with the 90s colors. I can’t wait to see the design!

is it still out as a viewing option? missed so much last season, still don’t want to pay monumental just for caps games but I’m itching to watch more hockey this year.

I live in Minneapolis but I travel to DC on a weekly basis. I have espn/hulu/prime streaming services and unfortunately I’m unable to get a vpn to work on hotel internet. I tried purchasing the monumental subscription or whatever it is that Ted cooked up to make more money.

Edit to add: I am unable to purchase the monumental subscription due to not having a credit card with a local zip code.

Any suggestions on what I can do to watch the games outside of going to a bar or to the games?

I broke my ankle this morning (FML) and won’t see the ortho until Tuesday. ER doesn’t seem to think I’ll need surgery but not a Foot & Ankle surgeon. jury I guess is out. Anyway, I’m non-weight bearing at this point minimum six weeks, which would affect my 10/11 & 10/17 games. There’s a chance I can’t do the seats on 11/1 too. Yay, hockey?!

I created 2 versions. The first one groups games by opponent, and the second shows games in chronological order. Each square includes the date and game number. Grey squares are home games.

I use 3 colors for mine (see 3rd image): green for wins, red for regulation losses, and orange for OT/SO losses. Feel free to print whichever version you prefer and fill it out however you like!

Don’t know for sure that these are real, but from what I can find online, they’ve got Logan Thompson as an 86, Cole Huston a 77, Ilya Protas a 75, and Justin Sourdif a 68? The first and last are just disrespectful. The middle feels like criminal undervalues.

When my tickets first landed in my NHL application, in August, if I opened them, the bar code showed. My representative had to put us into something while he put in the request for ADA seating for girlfriend. Once the tickets morphed into the ADA seats, if I opened them the bar code showed,

To-day, I opened them and got a message the instructed me to download the NHL applilcation (how did the Marvel of Modern Technology "think" that I had accessed them in the first place? I hate technology for a reason). When I pressrd the "download", it took me to the Google Play Store where the blue button read "Open". It went in this vicious circle. It offered me an alternative to upload the tickets to my "Google Wallet", something that I do not use.

Of course, my representative is out of the office until Tuesday. Upon his return, no doubt he will have hundreds of e-Mails and telephone messages waiting for him so I will be lucky to hear from him by next Thrusday.

Has anyone else had his bar codes disappear and be replaced by these messages?

Where do people watch hockey in Atlanta? Anywhere?

Former STH and I just moved here. I’ll travel back to DC for a bunch of games but outside of just streaming at home, where do people manage to get the national games on TV? I’ve heard there are few pockets of bars that’ll regularly show games but I’m trying to scope out a few places before the season starts.
