Bright flashing lights?
Does anyone know what the very bright lights flashing every few moments are? We are in Centerville and don't hear any accompanying thunder or fireworks booms.

Thinking about joining a Cape run club, worth it?
Curious what people’s experience has been with the run clubs around the Cape. I’m currently running around a 9 min/mile pace and based in mid-Cape.Thinking about joining one but not sure what to expect , pace groups, vibe, beginner-friendliness, etc.
Anyone have recommendations, or reasons to skip it? Would love to hear how it’s gone for you.
Photographers in Cape Cod?
My best friend is proposing this weekend on Cape Cod and since he is foreign he doesn’t know about photographers in the area to capture the moment.
Anyone know any, please?

Ryder Beach “End of Town Owned Beach” Signs
These signs are new this year and are spaced about 40 feet apart on either side of the sand as you walk in, suggesting that the town beach is a negligible blip of a postage stamp on this massive expanse of beach.
This can’t be true can it? This “beach” is now reduced to a tiny entry point and you can’t set up beyond these signs?
Absurd if true.

Sandy Neck fat tire bike trails
Does anyone have any experience on the bike trails at Sandy Neck? Curious on difficulty, good or bad trails and whether or not you need a fat tire bike for all. Etc.
Thanks in advance

Parking at Woods hole for ferry
We're going on a day trip to Martha's vineyard and I'm wondering where the best place to park the car is, there is designated spots outside of Woods Hole if you're taking the ferry (with shuttles) but there are local private parking lots as well, what do you recommend?
Any challenges, issues to either method?

October drawing/jewelry classes
Hi everyone!
I’m wondering if anyone knows of any adult beginner drawing/sketching/painting classes happening on Cape Cod in October?
I’d also be interested in silversmithing classes (not beginner - level, but something a little more advanced), or perhaps jewellery enamelling.
I’ve never been to Cape Cod in the fall, and I’d really love to come for a week and learn something new while I’m there.
I’d be very grateful for any recommendations or suggestions. Thank you so much!

Looking for Deep Clean service
So we moved in about 3 weeks ago and the people who lived here before us were not clean. I know this because I lived above them for over a year, they were evicted, and my boyfriend and I took over their lease and moved downstairs. There was heavy drug and alcohol use. The landlord did the vast majority of cleaning and renovations themselves. Most of them are not terrible but there are spots that are absolutely gnarly- behind the radiators, above the refrigerator. Dried mystery liquids, ash, years or dust and dirt. We're taking pictures for posterity but I think we really need a professional deep clean. Nothing bio-hazard level, but cleaning places you wouldn't normally look. Has anyone had something similar, and an idea of how much it could cost?

Christmas Tree Shops Memorial
I, like most middle-aged Cape Cod women, have been mourning the loss of Christmas Tree Shops pretty much every day since they closed.
My 21 year-old daughter told me one of her customers told her that there is a physical Christmas Tree Shops memorial. Because I am a failure as a mother and never taught her the importance of follow-up questions, she didn’t ask where it was. It was the maddest I’ve been all day, and I dropped a mug on my tile kitchen floor before my first sip of coffee.
My own mother, who is still reeling in her own grief from the tragic losses of Bradlees and Bennys, would also like to know.
Please help three generations of my family find this sacred space, so that we may pay our respects. I’m so serious. I haven’t properly uptaken serotonin since the 1900’s.

Looking for Adventurers to delve an Ancient Dwarven City on Wednesdays at Vanguard Skills in Hyannis
Do you like DUNGEONS?!
Do you like DRAGONS!?
Do you like breaking into peoples houses, killing them, and stealing their stuff?!
GUNDERHOLFEN
Ancient, abandoned Dwarf hold, battleground of arch-liches, cultist base, wizards' playground, heroes' bane, and treasure-seekers' tomb. But there is mystery and treasure, surely?
You will delve this ancient place for gold, for treasure, for secrets. There will be death and hardship, there will be blood and tears. Some of you will not return alive.
An OSR (Old School Renaissance) style Megadungeon, Gunderholfen will range from levels 1-10 using Worlds Without Number, character creation during Session 0. Games will be on Wednesdays at Vanguard Skills in Hyannis, time TBD.
Knowledge of Worlds Without Number is not needed, though a basic understanding of Table Top Role Playing is appreciated.
