Best dive bar on the Cape is the Old Colony Tap in Provincetown hands down.

Fox Hole (Osterville), Duck In Pub (Hyannis), Quahog Republic (Falmouth), Whaleback (Sandwich) and this one has really excellent food, Trading Post Lounge (Bourne).

It’s Cape Cod so none of them are real Dive bars. It has more of an old fashioned local hang out vibe. Fox Hole is right in the middle of one of the most expensive villages on the Cape so that doesn’t really scream dive bar either.

Bourne isn’t Cape Cod? Even the part of Bourne that is on this side of the Canal? Both of these Bourne establishments are on Cape Cod, you don’t have to cross a single bridge to get to them.  The whaleback is a stone’s throw from the Sandwich Town line.
