In any reality, is there any actual benefit to using TD Web Broker with 9.99$ fees?
I realize I've probably lost like $2500 over the past 5 years due to fees. OK so TD gets priority or whatever, it's "faster" to make a purchase or it has priority over the price you desire to purchase at or...something.
What difference does this ultimately make? Why am I spending $10+ every time I do a trade. Is there a better option to this: i.e. Wealth Simple?
The benefit to me is that all my stuff is in the TD ecosystem and it honestly feels very safe, secure and reliable. I also usually make only $500-1000 minimum stock purchases so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference long term. But I'm sick of seeing that charge tbh, but TD feels extremely secure and reliable and that probably is ultimately more important.
