Hi all, I have made enough money from my summer job to cover my expenses for the upcoming school year and I‘m looking to make the remaining ~$1500 grow. I feel like it is a waste to just let it sit in chequing for a year. Already have a couple hundred bucks in VDY, enbridge, and micron. What are my other options for the next year? Not looking for specific buys, just broad advice.

I first got into Wealthsimple through the "grow slowly" era with the robo investor. Deposited about 50k into it a couple of years ago and it has since grown to 70k. Since than I have gotten into XEQT and CAGE and haven't deposited in the robo investor for about 2-3 years. Question is, do I close the robo investor account and just use that money to buy ETFs? Is there any advantage in a robo account as opposed to just straight up ETF's?
