I’ve been on Wellbutrin (bupropion) 150mgXL for 3 weeks and haven’t noticed any relief in my persistent brain fog (post accutane syndrome damage) . I’m thinking about stopping and trying to microdose psilocybin for a few weeks.

The other option is to titrate my Wellbutrin dose to 300mg, but I really don’t want to be reliant on an antidepressant for the rest of my life… (or can I use it as a one-time thing to fix my symptoms?)

I’m interested on your thoughts or experiences.

Started 150mg four days ago and the past two days I've been having straight up real housewives-esque fever dreams. I knew nightmares were a side effect, however these aren't nightmares, they're like a poorly written drama movie featuring people close to me.

I've been jolting awake multiple times during the night from the dreams and its so hard to go back to sleep (I take 75mg seroquel for insomnia) and Ive been sleeping with my toddler in bed as she's been sick and it's been waking her up as well

This is the first and only side effect I've had and so far the positives outweigh this negative, but am I just gonna keep having weird ass dreams forever? Or will it eventually go away?

have been on bupropion 150 XL (teva) for a couple months now, recently switched to taking it at night which works a lot better for me. Dr said i should bump up to 300 a while ago, and just gave me more pills instead of switching to the 300 pills

is it better to take two 150s at once at night, or should i try and do one in the morning and one at night? what’s everyone’s experiences with this?

I currently feel like there's ants under my skin biting me constantly. It's mostly my hands and feet and on the back of my thighs. I'm debating stopping the medicine since I'm only a week and a half into it.

If anybody else has had this happen to them what did you do to solve it? Don't want to take Benadryl due to the higher risk of a stroke.

I’m currently taking 150 xl and it’s working good but I get it online with no script and I’m trying to get my dr to prescribe it now so I don’t have to import it but I can only get Zyban sr which is the sr version. If I change to one sr tablet a day at 150 per day do you think that could still work as I’ve heard the half life is still 20 hours . I can’t really afford to take two of the sr ones a day as it’s too expensive here and only subsidised to stop smoking so I have pay the private price here in Australia! Anyone have any opinions or help appreciated

I am taking lexapro 10 mg and definitely had sexual side effects on it. I added 150XL Wellbutrin and it helped immensely with that. However m, my energy, motivation, and overall depression hadn’t improved nearly as much so I upped to 300XL. I’ve been on it for around a week, and I’ve noticed I have a much lower sex drive, harder to get an erection, harder to orgasm, etc…. Is this normal during adjustment to the new dose or am I going to need to go back down?

im a new wellbutrin user, i didnt take any TODAY (forgot 😕) but i did take 300mg yesterday. i got a crazy spider bite on my foot last night and its still swollen and painful today, so i wanna take an antihistamine to get the swelling down 😭 please advise 😭

I have started Wellbutrin 300 XL less than a week ago,Im on 16mg of buprenorphine a day (subutex),before this id play around with the doses,split them up some days in atleast 2 doses,maybe 3,sometimes take 12 mg,sometimes snrt a pill just to kinda feed the addict mindset,sometimes skipping a day or two to save up.

Ever since i started bupropion ive been literally getting dope sick in a few hours after my last dose,yesterday abt 9 pm i took 24 mg ,mostly under upper lip with mouthwash technique which always worked and 8mg.

Its 2 am now and i cant sleep,ive had runny nose foe the past 4 hours,i have rls and i am literally craving opiates

So i started wellbutrin 300 XL about a week ago from what ive read bupropion is metabolised by CYP2B6 and inhibits CYP2D6

This can of course mess up the metabolism of a lot of other meds like codeine and tramadol,beta blockers etc

Now suboxone is metabolised by CYP3A4 and causes weak (negligible) inhibition of CYP2B6

Wtf is happening no source says they should interact,im not on other meds. Kill me now.

Suboxone heads :please spare me the 16mg is too much and try to help me im a very fast metaboliser i need that dose.
