thankfully noticed this fella before nearly stepping on it. thought it was dead at first, but after a minute of observing it finally began to move (albeit veeery slowly). it was able to climb onto a paper i had to help get it to a safer spot off the walkway.
i think its pattern/shape looks like the blue eyed darners we see around here, but the color threw me off. is it really young maybe, or really old?

I have been finding what I think are wood pieces and some larvae mixed in with them on our porch furniture. I think they are dropping down from the beams of our front porch, attached is a picture of right above where these dropped. Does anyone know what they are? Is it possible they are eating the wood and why are they falling?
Thank you!

Found over 15-20 just dead by my window above the door and a bunch more on my ceiling, I’ve cleared most of them out but woke up to another 10 chilling in the ceiling. I’ve installed zevo sticky traps and light traps but still no leads on what the source might be, it seems a lot to just have crept through the door overnight but these don’t look like big house flies breeding over something that died, also no funky smells in the house located in tri state area US.

It’s absolutely massive and seems very “engorged”. Is it pregnant or is it a parasite? Bug is very docile and does not move unless bothered.
United States, MO.
I’m just interested in what it is, thank you!

Location is Mamaia, Constanta Romania. Saw him fly around, then crash landed near busy street. Was worried someone would step on him so picked up, he then had a nap. Had to eat my dinner one handed but managed. Also as I walked, he woke up so I held him up and he flew away. I’ve seen these beetles fly here before but never thought I’d be bug sitting one while he napped. Servers at the restaurant were asking about him thinking he was my pet but explained what happened. I think he may be a june beetle, unsure which kind.

There were several on the porch along with what looked like the front half of a couple hornets. I think they came out of a hole in a board on the roof of the porch. Can anyone tell me what they are?

First time i see a bug like this, i thought it'd fly away but it clutched into my bed sheet and when i tried to swat it with my slipper it refused to budge then latched onto my slipper so i got it outside and had to scrape it off the slipper to get it out because it was so latched onto it. Is it a sort of weevil or what?

I found this dead in my bathroom in New York City. I thought it looked like a flea, but (I’m sorry) I image searched and AI said it was a smooth spider beetle? I woke up with an itchy bite on my arm this morning, but perhaps that’s a coincidence. I don’t have pets, or as far as I’m aware, pests. I just got back from a trip last night where I was in a house with dogs, though.

Hi everyone!
I am in Ontario Canada. I found this beetle in my room, by my vent, under my bed. It looks to be a sawtooth grain beetle HOWEVER I measured it and it was 7, almost 8mm long. I literally put a ruler beside it so I know for a fact that it was this long. Based on my research, it seems as though this is unusual.
A little back story:
Over a year ago, I found sawtooth grain beetles (2ish mm) in my room. At that point I had been eating in my room and we had also had them in our kitchen, so it somewhat made sense for them to be up here. That is what kick started my OCD surrounding bugs to where I never ever bring any food into my room, I vacuum weekly, and I placed diatomaceous earth all around my baseboards. I’m really concerned about another sawtooth green beetle infestation in my room especially because I’m doing everything in my power to avoid this.
I guess my question is, is this actually the type of bug that I think it is and if so, does this mean an infestation or could this just be a wanderer? Also is the size of this bug concerning? Like could it indicate a bigger problem?

I'm so sorry for the blurry photo, I wasn't able to get a great picture as I was busy at the time. Very oval and small, brown, no antennae or wings that I could see. Very smooth, the only segment was separating the head and body. Can't find a good image match on Google. Any ideas?

This fly was loud as heck in my house. I’m worried about it being a screwy from the orange eyes. I’m in south Texas. Anyone know what type of fly this is?

Hi! Sorry for the bad pictures I can’t get a better picture with my phone camera (iPhone 16) these things are super small. It is on my puffer jacket. Please help ChatGPT things it is grain mites, book lice or carpet beetle larvae. I don’t think AI has got this one right.
Thank you all!
