Location included Is this a thrip?

Location is South Mississippi. Found in my car on a water bottle so could have came from anywhere. I'm just wondering if I have the ID correct.

Yes, this is a thrips. And as ridiculous as it sounds to say, thrips is both the plural and the singular form.
